power, speed, range wireless for the future very happy

I biught this one as a replacement to my OLD netgear router. It has increased my download speed by ~50% and upload speeds by ~25%. The range has improved as well, in my 2000sqft house it is located on one of the corners and I am able to connect from anywhere in the house and on my 1/3 acre lot. Very good replacement.

I've purchase a few of these for different installations and I love them. Easy setup if you are not IT savy. It comes pre-programmed with an SSID and password. Coverage and speed are great.

Only had this a month. So far the performance is second to none in this price range. Will update if needed. Other than it being a little pricey and bulky it works excellent.

I replaced my apple router with the nighthawk. The nighthawk provides a more stable connection and better signal strength throughout my home without the need for an extender.

Despite the BB in-store advisor suggesting I would be ok with the lighter duty 1900 model, I grabbed this one and headed to the register (after he'd walked away). Glad I did - we have a number of wireless devices and a half dozen or so streaming HD security cameras, some of which used to struggle with responsiveness based on their placement. Much quicker and more reliable now, and overall speed on iPads and laptops is much improved as well. Located roughly in the middle of a ~100 foot long house, and reaches all around and a good ways outside with good signal.

We have two houses on the property. We needed to be able to have the Wi-Fi go at least 100 feet to the back house. This wonderful piece of equipment did the job. No need for the extender anymore. Very pleased

I must have read hundreds of reviews for this router and others before purchasing. This tri-band router runs a little warm, but not like the comparable Linksys. As others experienced, sometimes this router's throughput drops to a third or less of the max speed of your external internet connection, requiring a soft reset. It happened twice in six weeks. However, the range is great, covering over 2,000 sq ft on each of two floors and extending outside the house on the lower band. Internet speeds consistently exceed the maximum speed of my plan. Internal home network speeds are about half of the theoretical max due to different max speeds of connected devices. Except for the occasional resets, great speed and range.

Our house is partially stone and bi-level. We have had trouble in certain parts of the house having consistent internet connection. We've tried several different routers over the years with little success. Until we bought this one - coverage has been consistent throughout the house! I highly recommend this item.

Best router for large homes, easy install too!!!!!

I bought this router because my old one didn't have the range I needed, and even when you were in range, the signal was dropped a little too often. Now anything compatible with the 5Ghz band won't drop, and even 2.4Ghz wifi reaches the back rooms that the old router, and current modem wifi couldn't. No wifi drops have been reported to me for the 2.4 Ghz only devices either. I only use the wired for the most part, but believe me people didn't stop with complaints about the wifi before, but there's none now. Worth buying this brand of router, but you can probably make do with one of the cheaper models. Though I am perfectly happy with my purchase either way.

We were having issues with our WiFi had an extender but just wasn’t cutting it, bought the nighthawk and man-o-man does it make a difference.. streaming is a piece of cake, every now and then it refreshes but definelty worth every penny, oh and we have about 10 devices that need internet

I purchased this for my parents in August because they were having problems with their internet connection and Ring devices. Everything worked great from the point the Netgear was connected. So, I bought this one for me and a recommended it to a friend who bought it the same day I did.

Was currently using the rental modem and router from comcast and couldn't get internet in the bedroom 20 feet away. Now that i have this hooked up i can get internet in the backyard and out in my car outfront! Product was easy to set up and took my current service to its full potential.

i purchased this when my old unit died. this updated unit gives me a stronger signal and the antenna stay upright and in position. its easy to configure and change passwords. set-up was a snap.

I built a new house and wasn't getting the range or speed I was looking for with the router my cable company provided. I have a smart tv and four Amazon Fire tv sticks along with a laptop, iPhone 6, and laptop so I demand a lot of muscle from a router and the Nighthawk is definitely exceeding my expectations

An amazing high end router with 3 networks to select from. Greatest speed to greatest coverage; 2.5 or 5 GB. It's made my uploads faster than I expected they would be.

I had purchased a different wi-fi router, set it all up and hardly noticed a difference. It was still really sluggish and poor wi-fi in our house. The Besy Buy salesperson personally had this router and said how happy he was. It was more money, but well worth it. We now have crazy fast speeds all through out the house.

we have 4 cell phones, 5 iPads, 5 laptops, a printer and dish network all working off this router. We have always had slow internet and had a hard time controlling the internet settings for our kids. This router allows us to control everything and never slows down. It's a great product and well worth the money.
