Good range but pricey
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The router has great range throughout my two story house. I do not see a big difference in speed. All in all, it seems a bit expensive for what you receive.

Strong signal. Bad power adaptor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great router in terms of range and speed. Power adaptor comes with support for 110V only. When plugging to 220V using auto-converter power adaptor heated and died. Replaced with third party power supply. Note that I found same device at a lower price elsewhere.

Excellent, but not worth the extra cash
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently upgraded to this monster of a router from my Netgear X6, but honestly, even though this router has a few more extras, my old X6 covered just about the same range and handled all my tablets/phones/PCs just the same as this new X8. So spending an extra $80-$100, depending on the sale price, it's not worth the jump... If you are one of those high tech guys and have the need for 6 wired devices, this would be a perfect fir for you... I had to be honest and gave it the 4 star that this router deserves, because after all, the router is a beast, but if all you need is to give wifi to 10-15 different pheripherals, there are other cheaper routers that will get the job done, with out breaking the bank (like the Netgear X6)!.

Awesome Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome speed, no buffering, for very large or segmented house where you need wireless to every corner. Works well with external hard drive to access files. Only con for me is our placement in our house and the size of the unit. Biggest router I have ever seen.

BEST ROUTER MADE!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As soon as I saw this router I could tell it would work great, and have a really good range just by the sheer size of it! It is worth every penny I spent on it. I live in a bigger house, with 4 smart TV's, 3 computers, and 4 other people with smart phones. Before buying this router the wifi was ok, but when watching Netflix or amazon video, it would sometimes take a while to load or the wifi would drop out and you would have to wait, or restart the tv. Now with dividing devices between the 3 signals every device runs very fast and smooth, and since owning this router I haven't had to wait for any thing to load, or have a freeze up. And that is with 3 or 4 smart tvs running YouTube or Netflix all at the same time, and with someone on a computer downloading documents etc... this router works flawlessly and allows us to use every bit of the internet speed we pay for! We are very happy!!!!!

Far exceeds the ATT Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have gigabit ethernet through ATT and their default wifi router degrades signal so fast the further you are from it. This router is so much more powerful! Full strength through out the whole house. Also great features with the streaming media content.

Fast, long range, spendy.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted something that would meet expectations for a while, and this is that! Hasn’t let me down, always good signal and can handle everything a smart house and many WiFi devices might throw at it! It’s spendy but quality usually is.

Good for Large Home
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router is fast, if you have a fast internet provider. Also the wired LAN is fast. It is the biggest wifi router I've ever had. Only thing is the price is too much. 4 stars for that reason.

screams and consolidates
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.getting more from a high-speed cable service is on the top of most consumer's to-do list. in my case, i wanted to cut my tv cable bill as it had ballooned to $133 a month (not including $10 for netflix). using my existing router + rook + slingtv subscription i eliminated cable tv - saving $100 a month (that's $1200 a year!). however, the old router was only serviceable for the streaming of movies. so an upgrade was in order. and the main reason to purchase this model is we have a large house and signal coverage is critical...especially with two teenagers in the house. this router has allowed me to eliminate 2 range extenders and worry less about running wires.

Love This Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best routers I've ever had. Speeds are fast. You get 2 5ghz networks and one 2.4ghz. Tons of configuration options. Not to mention the range on this thing is great. You can't go wrong with this router. Very solid build as well.
