I had been using the RBR50 router and two RBS50 satellites for my wireless setup. One of the RBS50 satellites was being used out in the garage to pick up some outdoor cameras. I never liked using one of the satellites in the garage but didn't have another option at the time. Then comes along the Outdoor Orbi RBS50Y and I knew that was the way to go. I've had it installed in the garage for a month now and it has worked flawlessly. It was easy to add to my existing setup and I no longer needed to be concerned that it was in the garage. I know some people have been having disconnect issues with their Orbi System but thankfully since Google released the fix for Casting, mine has been perfect, not a single disconnect. I'm hopeful it stays that way. I think it is a little overpriced for a satellite but I'm happy with my purchase.

All of these systems are great. i had some hiccups in setting up orbi but i believe it was my error as i do not think i was giving enough time for satellites to sync up. i've read past reviews of a lot of bugs in orbi but those seem to closer to its release a few years ago. I have not experienced any issues with this orbi outdoor router. after you have it synced to your router go ahead and reboot the entire system from the app or orbilogin.net. after this i was achieving maximum speeds. setup was darn easy. :) good build quality and light feature is nice.

Got it recently, but appears to be working well. Requires other Orbi Router.... Easy setup ...a bit pricey, large footprint... and would have preferred a smaller plug...will not fit in most outdoor outlet weather tight boxes.

The Orbi Outdoor AC3000 Tri-band Wi-Fi Range Extender works great with my Orbi A2200 system. All of my outside cameras work great along with any internet connection.

Backyard and deck I get 150 and it’s my max speed on my plan. Great way to extend your WiFi. Yes it’s pricey Black Friday it was $269.

I have a large home with an office/business roughly 100 or so feet behind my house. The Apple Airport system I had, couldn’t get the signal strong enough to the office, so I had this system installed. It is awesome! Full strength and speed anywhere in the house or office!

I replaced my AT&T wifi from the NVG with this mesh system and it works great. Getting stonger signal all through the home. I also added an outside satelite to get better signal to my man cave. Could not be happier with the product. It’s a bit pricy but well worh it.

I have a large tract of land and needed coverage outside as well as in an additional building. This worked perfect. Had good signal to connect the third satellite in my office.

The outdoor addition to the Orbi setup is easy to install and extends your range outdoors. Now my vehicles connect easily for their software updates. Very handy.

Has made our lives much easier by allowing us to extend our WiFi coverage both indoors and outdoors. Highly recommended and works well with ring cameras

Even though this is an outdoor unit, I elected to place it inside an insulated and heated shed and it works equally as well. No regrets.

It's hard to tell based on just one satellite but it seems to be working perfectly. I have no connectivity problems to speak of.

The best outdoor satellite extension on my ORBI router. It has increase my WiFi outside surrounding my home.

I recently moved from a my condo to my new home where I have 2 acres. I have the nest camera system and wanted add cameras to cover the property and my animals. I was concerned wifi coverage and speed would be an issue. After installing my Orbi outdoor extender, I was pleasantly surprised. I have total wifi coverage and my cameras are working great.

Installed inside greenhouse 180 feet from router. Works great. I highly recommend this product.

I needed wifi outside to our horse barn and for Maines cold temp.

Great connectivity when working but sometimes needs rebooting (Not really sure why it disconnects every now and then)

Unit works good but needs to be near the router.the outside coverage is excellent. The unit was easy to setup.

I was hoping to get better wifi in my new garage. So I went with this unit since I have Orbi routers and extender. I mounted it outside for more range. It was a pain trying to get the wiring through the wall, but it now works great. Worth the money.
