Set up in converted garage.Strong signal ,even with distance between buildings and cement block walls. On same electric as main house, about 20 ft from corner of house, and 50 feet from modem. No problems with installation.

It solved the internet problem for my bedroom with ease

I need to be able to connect my 4k media player to the internet via hard wire. My internet modem/router is in another room and this made it possible to do that.

My router is on second floor. I had WFi connection issues at a gaming station on first floor. Installed this device and has corrected the deficiancy.

My wireless routers and extenders were always problematic, and further, I would constantly have to re-assign MAC address for static IPs due to address translations. This is like the most simple network set up ever. Worked virtually out of the box and was up and running in less than 5 minutes. Almost too good to be true. No failures so far an the wireless aspect is awesome.

This extender worked as advertised. Set up took a little bit more than Easy but once set up it has been exactly what I was looking for.

Simple to set up but I did have to try a number of outlets for optimum signal. Haven't figured out how to reset the generic passcode.

No installation necessary except to plug into an available electric outlet. Instantly boosts Internet connection wherever you may be.

I purchased this for a basement tv room that the door is always closed to keep the cat out. I have a app on my phone for testing wi fi and this room hardly had wi fi. after installing this product the signal more than doubled. Its still not as good as upstairs but it improved it big time

How well the router performs depends on your home's wiring. You may need to try several outlets before finding a "suitable" one.

The instructions in how to set up didn't match exactly with what I encountered. After setting up, the product worked nicely.

Since the X10 twenty years ago I thought the technology had improved. And it had. Easy to set up , easy to synchronize and get started. My unit worked flawlessly for two or three weeks, then became unstable. Eventually I had to remove it. It worked fine when on the same fuse zone, but lost its marbles when on a more remote zone. I don't understand since it worked great for a few weeks in the same location.

This works well for short runs from one room to another, but be careful if you have a large house or the connecting room is on a different electrical circuit from the source room. Doing so will result in the network traffic having to go through your breaker box which will severely degrade your signal strength and connection speed.

This extended my service to downstairs where I was not getting greatest wifi signal now I can use my wireless with no prob.

This was an excellent purchase. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to extend their wired and wireless network in a large house. Setup was relatively painless, took a little bit to get encryption going though. I tried this in 3 different locations in my home, all on different circuits than the unit at the router, and all worked with no problems. The wireless speed is more than adequate for Netflix SuperHD streaming. And you also get a wired port along with wireless. I have not tried using a switch on the wired port yet, so I don't know if that would work. Is not the newest Homeplug AV2 standard, but I have found nothing lacking in this kit.

Needed to add my parents desktop to the wireless network. This was the easiest option. Plug in unit downstairs near router, plug access point in upstairs and plug in pc LAN cable. Voila, internet! Bonus is it boosts wireless signal for laptops and devices in use on 2nd floor.

Had it for a month and worked well so far! Had problems getting wifi from the front office to the back master - so far so good.

This is a solution to a problem I didn't know could be fixed...I wasn't even sure if I believed the guy at Best Buy...but sure enough...he was right...and i was pumped to be done trying to solve for how to get Wifi through three stories of concrete and into my garage.

This does help with the basement and it's wifi issues. However, I expected it work better that's why I'm giving it 4/5.

The instructions were NOT clear. The device has to be installed on the same electrical receptacle circuit that the base unit is installed on. This WAS NOT clear until i read further on-line reviews. You have to know more about your house wiring circuits than the average lay person to get this device to work correctly.
