It should first be said that this documentary is LOOOOONG. As in nearly 5 hours long. So long that it requires 2 discs. With that said, if you’re a hardcore horror movie fan and love the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, this is the PERFECT documentary. It quite literally covers everything. From the initial conception of the first film all the way up to the recent remake. Everything and anything you could want to know about the series is covered in this incredibly thorough documentary. It’s extremely educational both from a filmmaking point of view and a box office/money making point of view. Hugely recommended for all horror fans!

Love the Freddy Kreuger/Nightmare on Elm Street Movies and to see all that went into making them makes them even more of a treasure!

I was already a fan of Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy, so upgrading from DVD to Blu-Ray was a no-brainer. The jump in quality is appreciable, even if the (nearly) four hour documentary moves from one DVD to one BD. At first I thought I'd just put it on and watch a little bit to see the picture quality, and ended up watching an hour and a half - again. Yes, again. I've seen Never Sleep Again before, but the construction is so smooth and the stories so interesting that you don't mind hearing them a second time. If you're a fan of the Nightmare on Elm Street series, pick this up - between the documentary, the commentary (another four hours of new information) and the extra disc with even more content, you'll always have something to watch!

Was surprised when I watched this on Netflix a couple of years ago. I was not expecting much and was amazed at the love and care they showed to Freddy and the house he built. Very insightful documentary. the only thing that I wish they had included was a section on the 2010 Remake. I know not everyone loves it but it is part of the legacy. Other than that, A must watch and a must Buy!

Loved that there is a chapter for each film. They spend a lot of time interviewing many of the key players of each film. It is a must for any Nightmare fan!

This documentary is a great, in depth look into the Nightmare on Elm Street series as told by the cast and crew of the films. Behind the scenes footage and pictures that brings the phenomenal series into a new light for fans. Includes great extras including a review of the NES game by the Angry Video Game Nerd.

I bought this for my wife, she is a hard core freddy fan! We watched just about the whole DVD, its very entertaining.. and it makes you want to rewatch the movies all over again! I enjoyed this documentary, its a must for any hard core freddy fan! long live the nightmare king!

Was exactly what I expected: long, in depth interviews with the casts of the Nightmare on Elm Street series. Took a little longer than expected to arrive at my house though.

This documentary is a must watch for Elm Street fans!
