Use when traveling works well and easy to use on toad

Bought this as a gift for my sister. So good that I got another one! Quality of video is great and I love how it is magnetic charge/connect so I can take it when leaving the car.

It records well, but does have issues. I've had it freeze up several times with the nextbase SD card. I've discovered that it can't be left connected to a power source. It needs to be disconnected, otherwise it over heats. Ever since I've started disconnecting it, i haven't had issues. But not enough battery power to record during parked mode. Does not always connect to my phone to view files.

I like the camera, however I live in Texas and apparently the Texas heat is not good for it, when it is in my car all day in the heat it turns the screen black. So far, after I turn the A/C on and it cools off the screen goes back to normal.

Have it done buy the geek squad. They have the tools and Knowledge for a professional. Great Camera.

Very nice dash cam, easy to use. Being able to customize the motion sensor is very nice. Small camera so don't take alot of space on windshield. G

Great dash cam, Just beware to get the U3 memory card, the one I purchased before was recommended by the sales agent but it worked for a short time but camera became un responsive unless it had a U3 sd card. All good now!

That is my 3rd Dash Cam purchased in the Bestbuy store and I will have to say that this is my best camera so far good video quality. Friendly use.

Overall you are getting great camera quality. The app that Nextbase uses sucks and it's hard to actually use this dashcam in reality. The in-app functionality is hard to connect with your phone. In addition, my dashcam started to completely brick itself by refusing to record anything. I replaced the memory card and force reset the dashcam to no avail. Personally, avoid this camera and get something else.

If your vehicle is ever involved in an accident, this camera could be your only advocate for the truth. This camera system works great and for the price is just unbeatable. I now have one in every vehicle and highly recommend one for every vehicle you own.

This is a very good dash cam that everyone should have. Very good quality footage is recorded from this tiny camera with the capability of adding a Rearview camera. Truly recommend.

Awesome cam! Only gave it 3 stars because it was faulty. It wouldn't hold a charge and the screen kept going blank. The warranty with Best Buy was over but the warranty with the company is good 1 year. They were helpful and saw I called before about the camera . I returned it with the label they sent and waiting for a replacement camera. If the new one works, I will change my review and give 5 stars. because it's an amazing camera!!!! But I need it to work.

Gets the job done. Captures clear video. I use the 1080p 60FPs setting. The wireless transfer of video to my phone works well, too.

It has worked flawlessly so far. Does exactly what it was designed to do without any issues. Easy to use control. Minor nitpicking, personally, I would have preferred a bigger screen but it's totally adequate.

The quality of the camera itself is very good and has good video. The big downside of this product is if you ever plan on using the app on your phone. It is complete trash. I spent an hour trying to pair it to my phone, turning both on and off repeatedly, and once it did pair it wanted to update the firmware. This promptly failed repeatedly and crashed both the app on my phone and camera.

I had this professionally installed by Best Buy. The tech did a great job with the install but we had difficulty getting the view from phone and Alexa to work. I have Alexa in my home and really wanted the convenience of turning on the lights from the car as I arrive. Still trying to get this to work. I haven’t contacted NextBase yet. I will, but I shouldn’t have to. It should be easy to operate out of the box. If I’m able to get everything working, I’ll update my review.

In doing my research in buying a dash cam, I came across nextbase and noticed they came highly rated. When they launched this new line of Dash Cams I figured now was the time to go to Best Buy and purchase. This Dash Cam is only available at Best Buy. I love the hands free control and also like it has an SOS feature. I did not know that it has Alexa Built in which was a pleasant surprise. I bought the best one for the slightly larger screen and has a built in polarizing filter. I would highly recommend this Dash Cam!
