I bought it for a motorcycle trip to West Virginia with the hardware it came with a little hard to mount to the motorcycle. helmet mount is better will look for different attachment brackets and I will use it in the car

Got it on sale and it was a perfect time to upgrade my kenwood. It has bt functionality and the software is amazing. You can edit your clip there as well. It is bright with a wide viewing angle.

Trash. App doesn't work well. Half the time it won't connect to my phone. Doesn't automatically turn on like it's supposed to when vehicle is bumped or moved. S.O.S feature doesn't connect. And if you're not connected to S.O.S feature, you get an annoying pop up. Not to mention that it was almost $200 and the review on YouTube said he paid $79 for it.

I may have received a defective unit because it connected to my iPhone when I first purchased the unit but lost it's paring. Now, it refuses to Pair again!
Will probably return the unit.

good wide view good quality and sound the only thing ot doesn't have is night vision so if your camera goes off in the middle of the night during motion detection you can't see anything

Returned it. The GPS function never worked. Rear camera (bought seperately) died after two days of use. This unit got so hot while in use that it was uncomfortable to touch when I removed it. This was my second Nextbase unit. The first one (222) was two years old and the screen developed dead spots. No more Nextbase for me.

The video quality doesn’t seem HD. I’ve driven relatively new cars with factory HD backup cameras and they look 3-4 times better. Signal was not good. There would always be a slight delay in what was transmitted, no matter where monitor was placed at the front. The only good experience was how easy it was to install it.

I bought this as a Best Buy Deal of the Day at a great price! I read the reviews and researched similar models and this was the best product at a really great price.

The camera itself seems to have good photo quality, however, I have returned it after two days. I never did get the app to connect to the camera after several attempts. Also, the camera got really hot and then stopped working. Not sure what happens but it seems like this camera is not setup for the power supply in new cars. Seems pretty dangerous.
Hello. Thanks for getting in touch. The Dash Cam is designed to be powered at all times in the car, either via the supplied power adapter or hardwire kit. The battery is only to be used as a backup battery if there is a power failure when there is an accident, or in the use of intelligent parking mode, when the dash cam will go to 'sleep mode' to preserve the battery.

i had a dashcam from costco and had to returned.
This was on sale and a lot better than one from costco and even cheaper.

I Have to say i love best buy . i use their geek team on my wife's dash cam and it was great . i thought i can do it this time so i ordered one on line , one reason was the Covid still on , another i picked one really straight forward and very easy to set up, but actually I was wrong , it turn out to be very hard to put on , because the dash cam itself has problem , After i compared with my wife's garmin dash , consult with my neighboor , we all agree on one thing is this dash cam is not a good dash cam , wire first not long enough and , instruction are messy . i have to choice but return it , i gonna walking in bestbuy talk to the geek team agian
The Cigarette Lighter Cable for the camera is four metres long. The 50cm USB cable that comes with the camera is not designed for use in the car and is only intended for computer use. If your vehicle does not have a Cigarette Lighter Socket, you can use our Hard Wire Kit instead. The Hard Wire Kit is 5 metres long.
