It works! That's a plus! I haven't used it out on the road on a sunny day as I just received it in the mail. So it might get better than my attached pics! (I hope, because the reflection of the dash blurs out whole cars not just plates....) It does not get rid of the whole dash reflection for 16$ (on sale) I would expect better... The glue/tape was not good enough and instantly fell off. Replaced with better double sided tape. Here are two pictures with a paper towel on my dash to show the difference in reflection it cuts through on my 322gw.

This filter, after making easy adjustments, removes almost all glare from the car windshield.

I bought this for my dash cam and its works great, Easy to put on and works great. It does help Wirth glare and over all picture.

Can't recommend this enough for the dashcam, if rotated and used properly it removes the glare from the video and makes everything much easier to see. It isn't a very expensive add on, and just seems like something that would be nice if it was included automatically with the dashcam.

I enjoy my Nextbase 422GW Dashcam but I was having issues with glare from my dashboard. I purchased the polarizing lens filter and it eliminated the windshield glare. Video quality is dramatically improved.

Okay, it's nice and fits my 422GW like a glove. What bothers me is that this needed item is an add-on. It should be included because most windshields create glare that can be mitigated by a polarizing filter. Furthermore, polarizing filters need to be rotated and that really can't be done while driving. Not sure, but you think someone could design a dash cam with a built-in, self-adjusting polarizing filter that would address windshield glare. Nickel-and-dimed, once again!

I got this for a Nextbase 422. Note that the next model up, the 522, already comes with a polarizing lens. It helps eliminate haze from the recordings, so I find it necessary in case I need to use a recording, for clarity. Installing it takes a minute: It has a sticker right that adheres firmly to the camera, and it comes with an extra adhesive ring. Unfortunately, these do not screw like camcorders

It works, does the job done. The way it's mounted is what I wish would have been different. It sticks to the camera so if you want to test it and see what it is like, keep in mind that you attach it with a sticky peeloff end and when the glue wears off won't attach anymore. With that being said, it does work blocking most reflections and does not darken the image at night

Got this cheap when it went on sale. EASY TO INSTALL. Wish there was one for the rear window camera, headlights of cars behind me at night blinds the NEXTBASE rear window camera in obscuring the front license plate.

This gave me great clarity on video playback after an accident. Keep the glare down on recording.

This filter is a great add-on to the next base dash cam. It helps filter out the glare from lights and from the sun.

This reduces glare like it claims. I just wish this would have come with the camera instead of having to purchase it separately.

It does a great job of filter sunlight on the dash cam. The glare of sunlight is reduce and the picture quality is awesome. Would highly recommend this filter.

The camera and app are so bad you won’t get around to adjusting it, you’ll be happy if it actually connects to anything other than itself.
