Better then last year but not the best hockey. a lot of lag when playing online. hopefully an update will fix that.

This is the first version of NHL that I have played in some time, and it has been great. I enjoy the realism and playing it with my 6 year old son. With limited non-mature options on the xbox, sports games like this offer a great way to play with family, so much so that my daughter even enjoys jumping on a line and playing.

Better than 15. Good gameplay and commentary. No lag with online play either.

NHL 16 fixes most of the flaws of last years product. Key features such as EASHL and Ultimate team Play a Friend have returned. The gameplay feels very refined and I have been having a great time in both versus and team play games. Just wish that GM Connected mode was brought back, as there is no online franchise mode.

I love that they brought back Be A Pro where you can start in the CHL. The graphics are great and it's pretty cool that they have the mascots cheering on your favorite team. In Be A GM mode it's interesting with the morale of the team and how hard it is to make everyone happy. Great game and GO KINGS!!

Skating is more realistic, arenas are more authentic (even plays each nhl teams specific scoring music when a goal is scored). Many of the modes missing from last year are now in the game. Much happier this year than i was last year.

The controls are not easy to use. Good graphics though

So from what my son tells me this is a great game. As a mom I would much rather he play sport themed video games rather than the more popular violent ones. EA sports always has great games to chose from. When he lets me watch the graphics look awesome. So although i don't play video games at all i think this one is a good choice.

Easy to play online, big upgrade from NHL 15......

The NHL games have always been fun to play, but my favorite part is the details within the graphics. Not even with just the players, but with the crowds in the stands. The creators paid very close attention to detail with this game, making it incredibly realistic

After avoiding last year's iteration like the plague, I was desperate for a new hockey game. I had heard positive previews of this game and it sounded like EA was finally back on track with this franchise. Indeed they are. Still far from perfect, it should satisfy anyone looking to indulge in some hockey.

This NHL game brought back all the modes that fans have grown to love, and has improved gameplay. They have added unique stadium environment, new fan faces so you don't see the same three people over and over, and also mascot were added for each team.

NHL 16 is one of the best installments of the game. Clean game play, sharp graphics, new xp system, causes me to play the game for hours on end. I highly recommend this version of the game.

The hockey gaming is so realistic. It is not as easy as it used to be, which is good, but can also be frustrating at times. It takes a little time getting used to some of the changes. Keep in mind I haven't played a hockey game since about 2010.

I have purchased NHL games for many years now, and for different systems. The NHL16 X-Box One game is great! Each year it improves just a little bit more, and becomes more and more realistic. New players and more features have been added.

Was a gift for my son to go along with his new Xbox One. My son loves playing hockey and loves playing this game. He especially likes the feature that notifies him of the upcoming NJ Devils games with the new NHL schedule feature.
