I got this for my husband. He loves it! The only negative I have to say about the game is that he loves it so much I rarely see him anymore. He's always playing it haha :)

Nhl never disappoints. The on ice trainer is pretty nice. You can get quite accurate with shooting now. Be a pro mode is cool. Little boring being forced to do line changes. Would be nice if you could turn them off, but I suppose that loses the realistic factor.

You can't go wrong with NHL hockey. The game is fast-aced and fun. A game can take only 12 minutes! It's really tough, but worth keeping at it at a high difficulty. The lone complaint is the redundant commentary. I play with the sound off and listen to music.

My son loves this game and has commented on the improved graphics (i.e. from NHL 2014) as well as the added selection features for customizing new players. He also prefers the announcers in NHL 2016 over NHL 2014. We are happy with the purchase!

I don't play this for the Be a "..." modes other than taking a rookie into the NHL. That mode is fine based on other years. I haven't done online play yet since I just got the game. Otherwise as a single player Be a Pro Mode is working fine.

So happy they brought back EASHL, but the stop and go mechanics are way harder than previous games until you get the hang of the stop and cuts etc. Otherwise a fun game overall. Should have better Be A Pro mode instead of the focus on HUT

This game plays very good and they added the necessary things that were missing in NHL 15. The on ice training is very good as well to help all the seasoned players get better in all aspects.

improved goalie controls; shoot-out modes are great. My Career mode is improved over last version because you can work your way up to the NHL. I really like how customizable everything is.

I purchased this x-box game for my 8 year old grandson and he just loves playing with it. He also plays hockey so this really helps him. He really enjoys beating his father!!! Thank!

NHL 15 left a horrible impression and I feared it would have been the absolute destruction of a great series, but EA really heard the gamers input and put a lot of work into this game.

I was hesitant to purchase this game as NHL15 did not live up to expectations. This game far surpasses 15 and has much better gameplay - much smoother skating on offense and defense.

The graphics in NHL 2016 are better than NHL 2014. My son says there are more options in 2016 for customizing male and female players. He also prefers the announcers in NHL 2016. Overall, we are very happy with NHL 2016.

New on ice training was extremely helpful for friends who had never played before. It was nice to get all the game modes that were lacking in the prior year game. Nothing revolutionary but a solid improvement over NHL 15.

I purchased this game for my 8 year old who has been playing hockey for 3 seasons. He absolutely loves it. Plus, it allows his father to beat him in a game of hockey occasionally since I can't do it on the real ice.

The EA NHL 16 is good in the EA NHL series, but has some more room for improvement. I use 94 controls and I can't figure how to shoot back hand with the 94 controls. I thought this problem would be fixed from NHL 14.

I feel like this is the first year of a true "next gen" NHL release. Great graphics and a fun game. Still has some of the glitchy game play issues that seem to pop up every year but over all I really enjoy this game.

NHL '15 was a complete failure and waste of money since there was no EASports League Hockey, but now that it's back in '16 we are all happy once again. Gameplay is great and gets back to NHL '14 with a few changes.

I can't say that I follow NHL as closely as I once did, but NHL '16 has sparked my interest again. Great game play and more details than you can shake a stick at. Pick 'er up!

The game has some flaws and could use improvement in certain areas. With that said, the game is enjoyable and fun to play when playing with a group that doesn't take the game to seriously and loves playing hockey.

Good game. Getting a little bit used to new look of the menu's. My last one was NHL 13, so maybe they changed to this in 14. I like the GM and Be a Pro mode. Wish I could create my own team from scratch though!
