I haven't played a hockey Sports game since Blades of Steel. The graphics, gameplay and mode options blew me away! If you weren't paying close attention, you'd think you're watching an actual televised game! Audio and camera angles are on point. Think I'll be putting in more than a few hours into this one.

Not the biggest hockey fan but when I get the itch this does the trick. I also love how you could download rosters that other users have created.

They hit the jackpot again. Same great game with some cool new stuff. They have added the world cup teams so you can play your own world cup tournament. That alone is worth the price of the game but they also have added and tweaked a few other things. If you liked this game before you will love this years

This was the first NHL game I've picked up since they stopped being good forever ago...it's great game for when you don't have hours to sit and play but do have a little time to squeeze a few games in. The gameplay mechanics are a lot of fun but the game feels a bit underdeveloped in comparison to the other EA sports games in terms of presentation, features, commentary, etc...

I really enjoy playing NHL 17 very much. It's very realistic in playing the game, from passing to shooting to making big hits. The game is getting better each year and you will notice subtle changes. If you are a fan of hockey pick this up you will enjoy the game I bet.

Graphics are great, easy to use and lots of fun. Highly recommend

It's a love hate relationship with me and the NHL games. They've definitely improved upon 16 as far as mechanics and cool customization concepts but it's still very far from being the perfect, "most realistic" hockey game to date like they claim every year. The gameplay is still very annoying and unrealistic but it is very fun so you do keep playing it.

There really isn't much difference between 17, 16, and 15. There are some new, added features that make this game more in depth, and some slight gameplay changes from 16-17, but if you have 16, you'd be fine with it. If you play GM, you can move your team, more in depth roster changes and jersey, but thats about it. Still a great game.

This is my first experience with ps4 nhl and the game Is good for the right price.

Great new modes with World Cup of hockey and draft champions. Love that the ECHL teams are now included into the game as my favorite hometown team Kalamazoo Kwings are now in it to play. Same great gameplay from last year. HUT has improved and I like to be able to build my own team. Game is a good pickup and improved over last year.

The game is so realisitic that is feels like your watching the real thing on TV. As a PC user, there is a learning curve for me. The Team Rosters have last years favorite players and the announcers and presentation are like games on the NHL network. Many options for online play except being on the same team with friends.

If you love the sport, you’ll love playing this. A tad violent at times

Ive been playing the NHL series for a while now and it seems as if EA finally is putting NHL back on the map. Good gameplay and animations as well nice authentic arenas. Would like to see more commentary and the frostbite engine implemented.

Finally an NHL game with all of the features: EASHL back and better than ever Online team play Couch co-op Everything I've grown accustom from NHL is finally back for the next hen consoles after a few years of watered down garbage.

Its a awesome hockey game, and to top it off i got it on sale.

NHL 17 is much like it's predecessors-be a pro mode, gm mode, etc. with slightly better graphics. The owner/ franchise mode is cool-setting budgets, beer and parking prices to manage your team's profitability and the ability to pick up and move your team is cool. Sorry Columbus..hello Quebec City!!

The new changes to EAHL are great. I do wish they would bring back the playoffs to every weekend instead of just once a month. The AI has also improved. The defenders will actual play on the boards and you can also cycle the puck now.

Ea really has out done there themselves with such a great game. The tell you exactly where to put the sliders for realistic hockey play. Also, there are tons of modes and online functions to keep any NHL fan completely entertained!

I am really enjoying NHL17 after taking a long break from the series. The gameplay seems much better than when I tried it before, but I'm disappointed they took out the feature for custom rosters. I'm not seeing the same frame rate issues that I saw in the XBOX One version through EA Access.

instead of using one million buttons to try and figure out how to shoot the puck, they have a simple mode where you can just press two buttons, one for passing and one for shooting. .just like NHL 94! its spectacular.
