Great graphics and realistic gameplay... They chant Lets Go Flyers in Philly!

The graphics and gameplay are top notch! The new game modes are worth the buy!

Really like Hockey but haven't played this yet, the best buy gamers club price though made this a title that I couldn't pass up.

We have Play Station 3 and Wii. The XBox is superior in quality and graphics and we are having a great time playing with friends that also have the XBox with XBox Live. Great value as purchased at Best Buy as a bundle and also received a free controller. We purchased our 12-month XBox Live card at Safeway and received 10X fuel points. Great deal all the way around!

Gameplay is better than 16, but it still struggles with AI problems on certain occasions. Goalie inference is still a big problem.

Still needs a LOT of work, but overall, EA is on the right path. I'm also a little more keen to notice these things since I've played hockey my entire life and it's always played a huge role in my life. Will never stop wanting a true to life hockey game. Hockey is fast paced with split second decisions happening all around you. They need to speed everything up and fix the defensive side of the game. Especially stick kireree

I prepurchased NHL17 and have been playing somewhat regularly since then. I really like the career mode where you create a player and can work your way through a season in the amateur league to improve your player skills in preparation of being drafted by an NHL team. The career mode is really fun and a good way to learn to play the game. There is in game hints and helpers to teach you how to be a better NHL player. When you play career mode you only play in game when your player is on the ice and can simulate to your next shift when you are off the ice. It makes the game time very short but you get plenty of gameplay before the game is over. My only annoyance is the sideline commentator repeats his reports every game. He says the same thing about your player almost every game. The in game announcer Doc Emrick is great, best in the business. This is my first NHL game since I've owned on XOne as previous versions had been gutted since moving from 360. I would check it out!

How can't it be great. Like the flow of the game. Easy to use. It's hockey it has to be good

I haven't gotten much of a chance to play this yet, but get the new version every year. So far, I notice the graphics seem improved, and I love that the home team scoring results in a more authentic reaction (team-specific music plays, just like it would if you were actually at a game).

Every year the NHL 2K games get better and better. My dad came over and saw this game being played on the TV and he asked me who was playing. He thought it was a real life professional hockey game. This is how real and sharp the graphics are. Awesome game and unreal graphics!

Improves on everything from '16. Create your own team mode is awesome, i created a near replica of the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux. Have had some lag issues online, but that is more likely due to my internet. The Front of the net puck battles are much improved.
