One of the best games to come out imo. The soundtrack is the best I've ever heard, the combat is fluid and seamless. The story is fantastic. For those buying, after you beat it the first time, it's not over. You play it again with some changes to the story from the pov of another character. And when you beat it, u learn more of the story. Then you play it again its completely different adding more to the story. Don't think "oh God I have to play it all over again???" Because it's not like that.

This is a great JRPG. The game play is challenging and fun. The story is ok but the game play is excellent. The graphics for this game are pretty good on the PS4 pro. This is a game of the year contender.

Combat is simple yet fun. Story is intriguing and entertaining. Characters are interesting. Soundtrack is superb. Overall, extremely great single player experience. I regret not playing this sooner.

if you like dmc, this is a game similar to that. great story line and do not need to have played the first to understand what is happening. gameplay is ever changing and there is so much action

Neir: Automata is a fantastic RPG both visually and story wise. Game play has a nice variety of styles. The soundtrack is one of the best on this planet. Must buy for a RPG fan and Ps4 owner.

Its the best game IMO for 2017. P* is back never before. The music in the game is better than the actual game and both are perfection! A masterpiece game that every action fan should play.

If you love Japanese RPGs, this is perfect for you. Combat is fluid, story is weird and interesting, lots of customization options and zany characters. This is the recipe for a great JRPG

I have yet to finish it, Im about a quarter way through but so far I love it. If youre in it for the gameplay or for the story it does fantastic in both aspects. Highly recommend.

Music is outstanding, graphics are awesome on a ps4 pro with her. Gameplay is smooth. Takes a while to get used to combat but easier difficulty levels available if you need them.

I've been collecting and playing video games for over 15 years so what I say here I don't say lightly. This is without doubt the best game I've ever played in my life. Everything in this game is masterful. The music, combat, story, secrets and atmosphere are all top notch in every regard. Please buy this so companies realize that you don't have to make generic AAA open worlds or fps to make money.

I heard great things about this game so I decided to pick it up. The combat is very engaging and the story is very good as well. A definite buy if you’re thinking about it.

There are many twists and turns to this game and it incorporates so many unexpected elements and game mechanics, the less you know about this game the better. But it's safe to say that this game offers plenty of fast paced combat, an intriguing world with an engaging story, and offers a great amoubt of replay value. If any of that sounds good to you, then this is definitely worth your consideration.

Automata is simply fun. It blends side-scrolling hack-and-slash, 3D action, and bullet-madness gameplay in a fascinating post-apocalyptic world. Great action RPG!

This game is a must get! This game has multiple styles incorporated going from side scrolling to 3D shooting which makes this game extremely unique coming from Square-Enix. I love the story and the music blends in perfectly telling the story. No wonder it won Soundtrack of the Year 2017! For anybody who loves an action RPG game with an amazing soundtrack and story, this game is for you!

In the short time I've been playing this game it has become a favorite. The soundtrack is amazing, combat is great. Story though can be some what confusing.

Nier Automata is a very great game with amazing visuals, solid gameplay, and an awesome award winning soundtrack. The only negative I found is the story. Keep in mind this is a sequel, so there is prior lore to this universe found in the previous games and other forms of media. Also, as per usual for Japanese Role Playing Games, the flow of the story can be a little odd with major plot points feeling like they happen for no reason. But despite that, the way the story is presented is among the most unique I’ve ever experienced, and I definitely recommend this game to fans of Japanese games or programs, and even fans of any RPG’s.

This game is easily an early contender for GOTY 2017. Every single aspect of it is incredible - the graphics, the story, the music, the characters, the gameplay. On top of that, it rewards replayability: one playthrough only gets you about half of the story. You have to play it about 3 or 4 times in order to get the full story. Definitely get this if you like action RPG type games.
