i baught these cameras in the hopes that they would match my previous ones. These ones have a 30 second delay while watching which is fine i guese. The app to view on your phone and tablets is soooooo bad. Rarrely works

This is the worst product I have ever purchased, and even worse customer support. I waited on the phone for over 4 hours, as well as at the same time, getting repeated disconnects trying to use the "live support" online. Was never able to even get the system set up. I would not even recommend this to people that I do not like. Returned the same day as purchased.

Worst buy ever. The app to watch live feed online sucks, no customer service at all, they say they have the cloud option but they don't. I so wish i would have returned this system and got my money back. Should have just spent the time and took down all the cameras. I gave plenty of time before i wrote this review for them to fix the app and get the cloud storage back up and running, but 7-8 months later and nothing. Please don't waist your money. I would not even give 1 star.

Night graphics not good. Tried on a monitor and a tv. Same look like white globs instead of people. Got a blink system wireless and much better graphics.

The image was horrific not clear at all, expecting better quality due to the price but it was very blurry even if I adjusted the settings! Also, the wires look very dull which makes it worse. Definitely going to return them ASAP!!!

Difficult to set up.

After purchasing this system I found it extremely difficult to give it anything beyond one star. The reason being is st present I am waiting on my 3rd DVR from the manufacturer. The instructions for this model is ambiguous at best. The first 2 DVR's locked up and I was not able to view the cameras remotely or on my monitor. If the 3rd DVR does the same I will be sending the system back to the manufacturer for a refund of my purchase price.

I was very excited to receive this package, unfortunately this is just about as cheap as a system can come. The new DVR power supply was bad. I replaced the power supply, but the system would crash after only a few seconds. I though I had everything sorted out, but after a few minutes the system would crash again. This item was returned a few days later.

Tried for 8 days to get a chat going with these guy and the end results were disappointing.
Either the web site is under going maintenance or the software is incompatible with the DP2 system and still in development. I finally got the phone app working, but the CMS connect for The PC is not.
Like someone said the person and face recognition is a joke. It see's our dog as a person. Plants moving by the front door also.

Our DP2 Series does not currently have CMS software, which is why it is not listed on our support site. The Connect CMS is not compatible with our DP2 Series, which is why you cannot get it to work. Regarding the facial capture, much of its effectiveness has to do with the installation location and environment of the cameras. I got this Cameras for Christmas and didn’t tried to install them after three weeks later but they are a pain to connect to internet service. DVR came defective. So I tried to take it back or exchanged it but the return time limit was over . So I end up having the defective DVR sitting on my garage and cameras installed just got the look , I called customer service but it was workless. So in resume this system along with Best Buy customer service is really bad. DON’T BUY IT.

We bought security cameras and had them installed, they were defective and retailer told us Night owl was better. Okay quality for day time viewing but poor quality for night time viewing. Night viewing is gritty at best, motion viewing is blurry, can't make out facial. I am returning them for up graded cameras. Would not recommend Night Owl. Make sure you purchase from a reputable retailer for easy return, Less hassle and headache. Purchased on 11/09/2020, exchanged on 12/04/2020.

It does not have audio as it list. The instructions are pretty much just for hook up. It's not something I would recommend I hope I'm able to return it. I cant even reset my password to login after I forgot it so yeah I would not consider this something I would want or even consider anyone else would want for the price.
