This security camera system is enough to cover four corner of the house. It is easy to install.

I recommend Night Owl DVRs and cameras. This is the fourth one I have purchased for different properties, and I have not experienced a failure. Setup is easy; the instructions are clear. Nightowl dvrs and cameras are excellent for property owners when you need to have a record of activity on your property when you are miles away.

The first dvr was defective and would not even power up. The return was easy and the time for shipping was less than I was told. The second one set up as it was supposed to. I had trouble a few days later and had to call night owl for help which they provided patiently. I am sure the problem was caused by my internet service but I needed help to straiten it out.

Works great! My friend helped me hook it up and we have already caught some criminals on it. Sent the footage to the police to check it out. I love that it is always recording and the picture quality is great. Would be nice if the app loaded a little faster but it's fine. Would definitely buy from Night Owl again.

In NIght Owl's advertisement it states that this camera system uses an algorithm that detects human shape and at ten feet or less detects human face. It is supposed to alert and show a different icon for each alert. I have talked to Night Owl support and my system and my DVR is setup correctly with human shape and face detection active and motion detection inactive. My system alerts on every type of motion that occurs. In less than a month it has used almost all the 1 TB hard drive. I walked from ten feet up to one of the cameras and it never showed a face icon. It shows human form icon even though it is simply the wind moving around or a drop of rain off the roof. I will say the video quality is very good but the algorithm doesn't work as advertised.

Nice system... Works well just make sure you download the right app on your phone.

I like the system, however, I wouldn’t choose this over a Swann system in the future. It’s “human recognition” is not as accurate as it is expected. Had I had more time to order something online as opposed to what was in the store at the time, I would have gone with something different.

So happy with this product. Tha night vision can not ba any better. The wide angle camera is a great fixture. I will recommend it with no doubt. I did use a power supply for the cameras an did all the runs with Cat 6 cables using a passive HD Transmitter HD-EV01P. Works great.

Was not easy to get running but working good now. Picture is good.

Night owl is so so amazing I would but it again and again I recommend it to all my family. No subscription fees just open your phone look it up you get notification and human motion on this system. I will never pay for subscription again this is amazing

Got for my mother house she love them, great price.

I was excited about this system until I compared it to the night owl system that I was replacing. The camera quality wasn't as nice as what I wanted to replace so I decided to not down grade my system. I have not yet, but I plan to return for something with nicer wide angle cameras.
