I recently set this security system up and loved the clear image it has. I also loved that I could stream it to my phone at no extra cost. However, the motion detection does not seem to be very great. It's suppose to be "smart detection" and record only when it detects humans or strange activities. It even detects animals and it will record. But I have about 20 plus different recordings from different cameras of plants moving or bees flying by and it's categorizing it as "human" detected. It's extremely frustrating. I would give this review 5 starts if it wasn't for this issue.

Got it on sale - EXCELLENT value! Great performance - 1080p is exceptional :-) I was concerned I would regret 1080p and want 4k - well I'm VERY happy with the video quality of this system. Reliable and easy to use.

Very easy to install. Can definitely do what it said on the box. This is the 5th one I bought over the year. I put this up to my family’s property and it works perfectly. Got the guy who didn’t pick up the dog poop on my front yard.

Best thing I have bought for my house yet. The night owls are a great buy for the money and installation was easer then I thought it took a little bet to run the wirers but otherwise worth it.

Works well didn't know a light stayed on all the time, thought it only came on with motion. You should know from the start you need a 1080 tv, according to the salesperson that wasn't necessary but it was. It seems to been a good system for the money.

Cameras are easy to install with clear pictures. We connected them to our tv to view and also down loaded to our mobile so we can check when we are away. Highly recommend this product.

We put this up for a rental property we are renovating to keep an eye on things. Definition is great, we are able to see what is happening around the property in real time. I would recommend this setup.

I bought these because a friend of mine still has about the same system, except my camera's are more plastic where hers aren't, but this is a truly awesome system. The app is easy to maneuver and it's two women who installed this system, meaning me and my friend and where she had already done hers was an old pro so to speak at getting mine set up. I bought the system where I can have up to 16 camera's on my system which is very handy because I was sure how many I would need for everything I need or want covered. I know now I'm going to be putting up probably 3 or 4 more cameras over the 4 I bought

Purchased this system because the one i was looking for was out of stock. Glad i got this one though. The picture quality is great. It does everything i need jt to do.

This has an awesome picture even during the night. The quality is unbelievable, I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Horrible software for wireless use. Takes forever to load up even with high-quality Internet. There’s no way to turn the auto spotlight function off Or on. Speaking of spotlights I’m not sure what the point of these spotlights are other than to draw attention to the cameras. They do not offer a better view at night than you are over the night vision. Good product/horrible programming overall.

Used to replace an older Nighthawk system thatvthe nvr died on. Hooked right up to existing cameta wires. Picture quality is way better than the old one!!!

This is a great product. The cameras were easy to set up and connect. The hard part was running the cable through the house due to the age and added rooms.

had an older version of night owl cameras, was happy with those so we stayed with them. not disappointed. easy setup and install, with the pictures clear as day

I like the idea that it has 16 channels now I can have 16 cameras through my property. The night vision is great with the night owl.

Everything was great except for having to go find someone to help me, found 4 employees in the middle of the store socializing with each other. Other than that, everything went good.

Excellent cameras and enjoy them so. Cannot say for me , ease of installment, but they were worth the efforts in installing them.

Decent camera. Installed them but no sound on them. Wish you could hear volume but decent cameras overall. Sometimes picture is foggy

So far it works like a champ. Does no look like a cheap immitarion from harbor freight. It plays really good video images and it doesn't freeze.

Protect your valuable with this easy to install cameras. And you can view them on your smart phone any time. Excellent just what I was looking for.
