It’sa pretty great security system for the price. Has pretty good picture recording quality easy to use and has a good app.

Setup is easy I had the holes drilled already from a preexisting system. This DVR supports up to 16 cameras however it only comes with 4 cameras. The night vision video quality is acceptable for this price range system. The setup of the DVR system is easy following the on-screen dialog boxes. The system does not come with a monitor, but any TV/monitor with HDMI will do for the set up. I would suggest getting a monitor for play back, although you can get playback from the application. I also would suggest a spot that gets lots of air as the DVR tends to be warm/hot to the touch. The face detection is not but best, but it works. Keeps thinking the dog is a human. So far the cat has not set it off. Set up of the application was without problems. The video quality is ok for this level system. What’s in the box. Requires entering phone number for verification phase. If you are looking for a do it yourself security system at a reasonable price I recommend you start with this DVR.

It’s okay at first it was great but then we show one of them picture was really funny looking and other one was going in and out and one inside the house was not captured everything some people who was walking around was just wasn’t on one camera but on others and some even look like ghostly the cats got fed by a ghost which was my daughter just need to take them in

Good value. Great video. The clarity on the video makes it easy to see what is going on. Good play back features.

The only complaint we have is that it does not decipher between an actual human and an object very well! However the rest we absolutely love and would recommend to anyone!

I rated this system 3 stars because it was very difficult for my tech to setup. He had to call the Night Owl support center and had to wait over an hour for someone to respond. After getting a tech on the phone the camera system began to work but it still didn't connect to my phone. I was advised that I could only connect my phone to the system by using wifi and that I needed a pretty high speed internet package.

Real good!! They work perfectly! They have good definition and during the night you can see all the details!!

Bought this so I could use it at work. Does a nice job. I can see anyone around my office and review as needed. Clear enough and easy to set up.

Very easy to install need 2 people to do it. The app is wonderful and it keeps everything secure. Best choice in cameras.

The cameras don’t look like 1080 they look like 720 if not less than that only got because they were on sale other that I wouldn’t have but yes they still work I can still see everything the little light actually helps at night but the frames are very choppy I have 5 installed around and they all loook the same choppy frame
