Purchased for my wife who really disliked the nonDSLR I got her. We needed a real camera for our childrens events and scenic photos, the camera phone just wasn't doing the job anymore. Camera is easy to use and with the 300mm zoom we have terriffic coverage and crisp clear photos.

Fast Camera. Great response time in the shutter, love the sport mode for low light levels for a cool effect. Dialing in is fairly easy on manual settings. Also used the Canon, loved this way more

Good quality camera. Takes good photos. Easy enough to use. Read the manual, it makes things very clear for inexperienced and new users. The strap is a little chintzy, but easily replaceable.

I bought this camera after owning multiple Nikon point and shoot cameras and it didn't disappoint. Easy to use, takes great pictures and and has the ability to edit the photos on the camera.

I wanted a good camera for a future trip to Europe. I was looking at a "bridge" camera, a point and shoot, when my husband suggested I spend a little more and get this entry level package DSLR. I was very skeptical thinking it has too much going on to understand. I highly recommend this for anyone. I've only had it for a few weeks but have already taken amazing pictures of my kids, pets and some outdoors. I haven't hardly left the automatic mode yet, but there's tons of books and youtube videos for help. Don't be afraid of this camera! As my kids get married, this will be my standard wedding present - a great camera for their future lives.

This DSLR takes great quality pics. Pics are in great detail compared to my old digital camera. Has wifi to transfer the pics

Very easy to use camera . I have always purchased a point and shoot camera and wanted a step up. I was nervous it would be difficult but was pleasantly surprised! Beautiful photos !!!

Awesome. Really easy to use and the pictures are really good. There are tons of tutorials for this camera so you can just keep getting better really fast. It's 100 % worth the money.

This camera works very well for first time photographer. The quality is great so far and it makes it really easy to use. I'm sure for somebody more experienced there are better cameras out there.

Purchased for my son for Christmas. He was very excited. Loves the look, ease of use, picture quality, and ability to have photos automatically load right to his phone and the cloud.

The D3400 is a very good starter camera. For starter photographers and families that want to take pictures of their children.

My 7th grandchild was 2 days from being born and I decided I needed a "good" camera that would be easy to use to replace the family camera that had broken a few years back. I wasn't satisfied always relying on the built in camera on my phone for the delivery room photos of a newborn. A friend has the Nikon 3200 and sold me on Nikon cameras. Such a huge difference between her photos and the photos taken with a camera on your phone. I figured she could also help me learn, answer questions and just generally acclimate myself to my new camera. I'm still too new at this to give a thorough review on the many possible points but I can say the pictures I have taken have turned out so nice and I'm not disappointed that I purchased this camera. I'm looking forward to taking many more family pictures as time goes on and using the camera to it's full potential.

Nice package. Great pictures. Flash does nice work. Battery draw is very low compared to my other digital cameras so recharging is infrequent. Best value on the market.

This camera is a beginner for me and i absolutely love! Its easy to use and takes great pictures. Links to an app on the phone where you can take pictures using app as a remote.

The nikon d3400 is a great camera (especially for beginners). It is light and comfortable carrying it on hikes. The lenses are great to start out with and allow for versatility.

Great Camera! Super easy to use and lets you play with manual settings a lot more than a point and shoot. The stock lens and the additional lens both are amazing and are high quality.
