This little adapter is fantastic, it let's me use an entire set of lenses for my mirrorless set up.

Lighter than original FTZ - handling of the camera is more natural without the tripod foot - same solid yet light weight construction - several of my lenses feel a tiny bit faster autofocusing - had to order second unit as first wasn't as tight as original adapter to the camera body, second is much better - able to use my Manfrotto plate on the camera body now and don't have to take it off to get the adapter off - mind boggling why the original had the tripod foot longer than the body to begin with.
Nikon should have offered some kind of trade in for those who purchased the original...

Quality part required for use with older AF-D and G lenses. I use it on several lenses and have had absolutely no concerns. Top quality, must have addition to your Z camera.

This adapter makes possible to keep utilizing my expensive mount F lenses on my new mount Z camera. I wish it were shorter, lighter and cheaper, however it works just fine.

I love having the ability to use my DSLR lenses in the new cameras. It ads about 2 inches in length butnit daved me from having to spend thousands of dollars in new lenses
Must have for Nikon shooters buying z-mount bodies

It does exactly the job it was purchased for. I have a bunch of older Nikon f-mount lenses and they all work great with the new z-mount camera.
A must have for classic Nikon shooters adding the mirrorless body into the mix.

Works as easily as you would expect.
It is an adapter, put one side to the camera, other side to your lens.
No glass, so no worry about adding additional dust or finger prints if you slip while handling it.

The F mount to Z mount adapter is seamless to use in every way. It is easy to attach and has zero impact on the outcomes. It's purpose is to allow the older F mount lenses to fit on a Z mount (mirrorless) Nikon camera. The adapter allows both mounts to connect and simply extends the base to make the lens work as expected.

Although this item is outstanding and works perfectly as intended, it does fall behind when using old lenses compared to ones that were intended for the camera you have! 100% recommend if you cannot afford the super expensive new lenses and just want to use your old glass.

Works well and does what it is supposed to do. I don’t have FTZ I so can’t compare to that. I could use my Tamron 150-600 G2 without any problems (after firmware update for the lens).
Took one star away for price.

This little device works well to adapt F lenses to Z cameras. The two cons are it will make the camera with an F lens a little bigger and heavier; and the price.
