Excelent flash. For me the SB 910 es the best flash ever, buy pricey, very pricey.

I purchased this to replace my previous Nikon Speedlight SB-600 because it was starting to fail (lasted for over 15,000 pictures. This product works great, has a lower recycle time than my last flash (will flash quicker for the next picture), is brighter, and lights up a bigger area. The only drawback is that it is heavier, but that is to be expected with a bigger and better flash. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good flash!

This is a great flash if you really want to get the most out of your DSLR camera. I have paired this with my Nikon D 600 and it has really enhanced my photos especially when shooting pics in low light situations and indoors. This flash is definitely well worth the money and Nikon has proven again why they are the most advanced camera company.

This speedlight to my Nikon D 800. This particular model is more light and more useful then previous models. Great flash to be used in a close areas for professional photographers. Much better control. This speedlite it's like you take a the studio on the road.

Strobe adapts beautifully to zoom lens at all focal lengths. Good fleshtone color. May need backlighting in certain locations. Fortunately speedlight platform is designed to accommodate multiple flash when needed.

Great when paired up with Nikon SB-300 for a Master/ Slave relationship. Better using a Remote TTL on the Hot Shoe when used as a Wireless Unit. Gary Fong has come out with some great products that work well with this unit.

On the other hand, one performance aspect is clearly improved and its a doozey: flash recycling is rated as 50-90% faster than before. I actually tried this with some nearly dead batteries--which usually represent the worst case for recycling--and was surprised to still see a major difference between my SB-800 and SB-900. The flash is Nikons flagship (best) external flash. I haven't used it much yet except some practice shots. I'm sure I'll get some good use out of it at an upcoming wedding.

The SB-910 is a great flash unit. A must have in your bag if you are just starting out in using flash as I am.

Great product, but holy-schmoly the manual is huge, and there's so much to learn. Not just an easy attach-and-use kinda flash.
