Customers often highlight the excellent camera quality, ease of use, and lightweight, compact design of the Z50 Mirrorless Camera. Many appreciate its affordability and comfortable grip. However, some users express concerns about the battery life and the use of a micro USB port instead of a USB-C port. The included lenses are also frequently praised.

I love this camera! It is much lighter than my older Nikon digital and takes excellent pictures. It has many features that I have not yet learned to use and am looking forward to warmer weather to get outside and further explore its potential. The only drawback is that the adapter that must be used with my other dale lenses is pricey and there are few Z50 lenses available.

I moved up from the D3200 and am joy the pictures I am taking. Took 300 pictures on my 10 day trip so I could see the different setting, lots of fun to compare. Need to buy the adapter so I can use my bigger lens that I bought for my 3200. I find it easy to use the Nikon app to move photos over to my phone and iPad.

I'm very pleased with the Z50 and its two kit lenses. The camera itself is a perfect size. It's well balanced and handles perfectly with the built in grip. Image quality is top notch, with that famous Nikon color palette. I'm finding I prefer this to my Fujifilm mirrorless cameras, due to the "pop" of the images and the much better menu system.
For me the move up to full frame wasn't worth the money. I'm familiar with the DX image size and it works for me. People knock this camera because there are only two DX-Z lenses for it now. Well, these are really the only two lenses that you will ever need, and you could really get by with just the 16-50. I was worried about the f6.3 on the far end, but the camera handles it fine if you let it pick ISO. If you are looking for a daily driver, great size/weight and fantastic image quality, this is a one stop package.

Great size and value. Was very impressed with the lenses package and used for my daughters first track season. Gained some great action shots. The app is great to pull down shots to quickly share with family. Very pleased with this purchase and has me ready to upgrade by the end of the season!

I am overly impressed with the Nikon Z50. My D90 quit on me and I opted to give the Z50 a try. The lenses seemed so light that I had my doubts but they did not disappoint. The whole camera is lightweight and smaller, but still producing excellent sharp and clear pictures! I purchased the FTZ II lens adapter and can still used my old Nikon lenses. A great camera and reasonably priced.

This camera was a long time coming and was a huge investment for me. But I consider it well worth it.
I bought my first Nikon, an ‘F’, in 1967 and it has been a constant companion throughout a career in the Marine Corps and during my family growing up. I love photography and love to visually tell stories.
I have had a couple point and shoot cameras over the past 20 years but none of them offered the same experience of having control of exposure and focus when the subject requires it.
I had been holding out for a full frame DSLR but there was no way I could afford that. My interest was piqued by the Z6 which is a full frame mirrorless and was wondering how I could afford that. Then after doing a lot of research and watching a LOT of UTube videos I became interested in the Z50 at less than half the price. But it’s a ‘crop sensor.’
But again and again those reviews kept raving about the picture quality out of the Z50.
I bought this kit with the FTZ adaptor while holding my breath!
You know how sometimes you really think something out and plan for something only to have your purchase let you down?
That is NOT the case with this camera.
Every thing I have asked this to do, from being a simple point and shoot, to having full control of ISO, Aperture, Shutter, and Focus, (both autofocus and manual), to the quality of the images, to the software that comes free with the purchase to download the images with processing to the software that let’s me edit the RAW files.
Every aspect has been far and away better than I expected.
Even the pesky little Snapbridge App that doesn’t want to play well with my Bluetooth let’s me download photos quickly and conveniently to my iPhone and iPad.
During this Corona shutdown I have spent hours each day challenging this thing with difficult circumstances, I could not be more thrilled.
The two kit lenses cover the focal lengths you need and they produce fantastic images.
Just a heads up, you will want to get a couple of extra batteries. If you love this thing as much as I do you’re gonna need them.

Perfect travel camera. Lightweight and the two lenses make it easy to get all the shots one would want! I own a Nikon 300 and 750 which are great cameras but heavy to carry on long trips. This one works great!

I like the weight of the camera and it takes good pictures. It doesn't seem to be as good as my Nikon 7500 is. I also can not make the view finder clear enough to see through no matter what I change on the camera

This camera is just plain fun to use. It's light and easy to carry around and gives great results. I have "higher end" cameras but this one is the one I grab when I want to go hiking or just take in the car.
