Super cool little speaker. Modest upgrade in sound quality but definitely adds more volume. Biggest plus is the portability factor. You can now take your Echo Dot outside, on the patio for instance, and take the music and functionality with you.

Love this speaker. Has pretty good bass for such a small speaker. Is pretty loud, had good sound and battery last for about 7 hours. Only negative is the fabric material outside could have been more durable.

Sounds is pretty good, much better than the Dot itself. Nice to be able to take it outside to the deck without having to worry about finding a place to plug it in without getting tripped over.

I bought this on sale, so it made the value worth it. I knew this wasn't going to sound as good as the original Amazon Echo (now called Plus), but was slightly disappointed with the sound quality. It gets loud enough, but sounds a little tinny. Definitely lacking the bass. Beautiful design though. The wireless feature is nice so I can use it on the go. I'm happy overall.

Buy two, three, or more of these speakers, add an Echo Dot to each one and you have a really inexpensive setup for multi-room music. Sounds pretty darn good too! Much better than some speakers that cost double the price.

It wont compare to a Bose, or Beats audio speaker. But sound it significantly louder and better sounding over the Dot alone. I use this as a Dot, that I needed louder for 80% of the time. But then I like the added use of unplugging it and taking to the patio outside or in the garage and have a battery operated Dot and sounds pretty good for music and can still use all the Alexa features from my patio or garage. And it is cheap! Battery life is great. Not sure what max life is, but I have been in garage or patio for hours and have not ran out of battery power.

I haven't tested out the battery life yet but it is a loud enough, good quality.

I like to use the "everywhere" feature of the Amazon echo when playing music (plays on all of my units) and that would cause the Bluetooth connection to be lost to my Bose speaker. The Vaux provides the sound quality I lose from disconnecting the Bose. In fact I've moved the Bose to another Echo Dot.

Awesome speaker to enhance your Dot, its portable and enhanced the sound quality of the Dot. Take it anywhere, battery lasts several hours! Looks good on counter! Great purchase.

How can I say this....wow. I was not expecting much, and maybe this is one of the reasons I am so impressed. I read many reviews before purchasing, and most were positive, but was concerned about the bass, as some stated good sound, but lacking bass. Does it sound like a 12" sub...No, but for a small speaker it does just fine. This thing is nice looking, well built, and sounds great. Went back to the store and bought a second one for one of my other dots.One last thing....I am almost convinced that the mic seems better. Maybe the sound is directed away from the mics instead of toward/nearer to them? Anyway, one of the better purchases I have made.

Great compliment to my echo dot. Sound quality is better than expected and bass is surprisingly good for such a small unit. Like the fact that it has a built in battery. Wish the fabric was a little more durable.

Yes, I am late in posting this review. I’ll call this a long term review. This portable Speaker Continues to work with no issues. It doesn’t have very powerful bass but it does make the Amazon Echo Dot much louder! I also love the built in battery so I can use this outside or other areas not near an outlet. The battery still holds a good charge after all this time. Good quality for the price.

This product has added a much needed boost in the dot. I use it as a satellite speaker in the kitchen to my home stereo in the den. Works great for multi -room surround.

I was not expecting to much from this speaker, but at the end I was surprised. First one, improves a lot the sound, mainly because I use Alexa to play music. Second one (and most important for me).. freedom!! I can move this speaker (and Alexa) whatever I go, and battery life is not bad (I use it like 2 or 3 hours per day and charge after 2 days)

I Bought at the same time the MOKAO and the VAUX for my Echos but in spite both worked well at the begining the VAUX is way better in sound, battery life and performance overall as a matter of fact my MOKAO does not work anymore and the VAUX keeps on rocking

Sound is decent. Very light weight though I would have liked it to be a bit heftier.

This is a nice product for taking your Echo Dot outdoors, as you not only get the enhanced volume but also it is handy when there is no outlet since this runs on a rechargable battery. We use it often for music by the campfire.

I really like this speaker, I use it daily. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of the lack of base. I would highly recommend the speaker, especially if you want one that is portable. It also had solid battery life.

This is a a great value for a speaker for the Dot that I think is better than the speaker on my regular Echo.
