Customers frequently mention the Intelli-Sense Kitchen System's ease of use, powerful motor, and sharp blades as significant advantages. Many appreciate the included spiralizer attachment and the overall quality and design of the appliance. However, some users note that the system can be quite loud during operation and requires considerable counter space for storage. The appliance's functionality as a food processor and blender are also frequently praised.

If you haven't upgraded your blender, food processor, mixer, or veggie cutter lately, you're in for a real treat. The Ninja Intelli-Sense is a multi-functioning system which has 4 differing attachments, which is like having 4 different machines in one. It comes standard with a Single-Serve Cup attachment, a Precision Processor, a Total Crushing Pitcher and finally a Auto-Spiralizer. The Ninja enables you to make smoothies, juices, ice cream, frozen drinks, snow cones, veggie cutting, soup recipes, food processing and then some. The versatility of this machine is amazing!
The first thing that we made was my wife's world class "Iced Coffee" drink. For many years we had been utilizing a blender for the ice crushing, and blending of the ingredients. We always 'thought' that the end product was fantastic and so did all of our guests. Enter the Ninja. The Ninja handily wins this contest. The Iced Coffee drink (made with some liquor, ice, cinnamon, instant coffee and milk) had never tasted so good! Creamy was an understatement. We had no idea of what we were truly missing. Consistency of the blend and the taste was awesome.
A word about the Ninja's brain which is called "Intelli-Sense". If you are making a frozen drink the Ninja will automatically cycle thru numerous on and off cycles ensuring that all of the ice (or whatever contents is being blended) is fully and consistently blended to the correct consistency. The Intelli-Sense has artificial intelligence and is SMART! Wait until you try it. The Ninja also has what is called Vessel - Specific Smart Programs which automatically appear on the power base. It will auto detect what size vessel you are currently using and display the appropriate program automatically. Remember that the Ninja comes with 4 different vessels, such as the single serve cup, the blending pitcher, the food processor attachment and last but not least, the auto-spiralizer.
The Ninja doesn't have buttons to press on the display panel, rather the unit is accompanied with a smooth touch screen. This may not seem like a big deal, except when it comes to cleaning up spills and splatters. On old style blenders, when your buttons became sticky you basically wiped around them. Since the Ninja has a smooth touch screen, clean-ups are a snap. This is really a great touch.
The motor housing is situated on-top of 4 suction cups, which not only prevents your Ninja from unnecessary counter-top travel but also has what looks like shock absorbers (located on the underside of the motor). The unit is super steady while in operation. The unit boasts 1200 watts of power and it's evident once you use your Ninja. This unit will not bog down and has plenty of power to spare.
Food preparation has never been so fast and easy, and the unit comes with an auto-spirlazer attachment which is real slick. It will cut veggies and fruits into noodle shapes. Super appealing to young children and perhaps will help you feed them their vegetables.
The Ninja comes with a cookbook included which offers up some interesting recipes and suggestions. I personally can't wait to give them a try.
Look no further as the Ninja is a winner. Buy one, as I highly recommend it.

Ninja is a company known for making unique problems that promise to solve multiple problems with one product. More expensive products existed that provided some of the functions but often at a much higher price and sometimes a more complicated setup for home use. The Ninja Intelli-Sense Kitchen System is the latest iteration which seeks to add more functionality while keeping operation as simple was possible.
The simplicity starts with the design of the base. Gone are all the buttons that were on the front with the different options to navigate. Instead, the base knows which attachment is connected and only displays options relevant to that attachment. This presents a very clean, simple setup on the front that at first might make you think it is missing options. The front of the unit is a single, clean piece of gloss black plastic that at first only shows a power button. It isn’t a touchscreen as much as they are touch sensitive buttons. Depending on the attachment, it will light up the corresponding buttons, so the buttons shift up or down on the panel. All the buttons are always there, just not lit up. They are very easy operate and possibly more durable since you don’t have a little piece of flexible plastic that gets moved around each time potentially wearing out. If there are any downsides, it would be there is a possibility that the buttons could be covered by food items making button operation not work. The good thing is with that shiny front you will see immediately that some food is affecting your ability to use the buttons. The downside is that if you want to keep this on the counter for display and easy access you will likely find yourself regularly wiping the front to keep that shiny plastic free of blemishes because they will show very easily. Depending on your viewpoint, that could either be a positive or a negative. It could frustrate you because it shows things so easily or it might be helpful to remind you that you didn’t finish cleanup. The base sticks to smooth surfaces by four suction cups on the base just like the old models. It does a good job so long as the suction cup as well as the counter below are both clean. What differs from older models is that instead of the release handle to break the suction it has two handles discreetly hidden as part of the base. You might miss them at first but once you know they are there you will find them easy to use and overall, they improve the clean look of the unit. Compared to the old single handle method, removal feels easier because it seems to release both sets of suctions cups equally.
The food processor attachment seems largely unchanged from previous generations, but the previous generations worked quite well so little change was required. The smoothie cup is larger than previous models and now includes a lid with a cover like a travel cup to prevent spills. If you are looking at a Ninja, you are likely concerned about health and BPA plastics are a concern. Per the manual all containers, blade assemblies, Blade Discs, and lids are BPA free. Second to safety of course would be convenience. Thankfully the containers, blade assemblies, and lids are all dishwasher safe. About the only manual cleaning you might need to do is if you need to use the cleaning brush to get leftovers off your spiralizing blade.
What sets the Ninja Kitchen System apart from other units is versatility. The Intelli-Sense system includes the normal blender, food processor, and smoothie attachments but also adds a new attachment call an auto-spiralizer. More healthy recipes have been created recently around the idea of using vegetables for noodles to cut down on simple carbs and get veggies back in the diet. Several companies have offered separate manual tools for creating these noodles but having it included with the Ninja is very convenient. The auto-spiralizer attachment may seem a bit confusing at first because it comes in 5 parts. You have a spiralizer bowl which has a gear reduction system, so you aren’t trying to make noodles at the same speed as you would blend. Inside the spiralizer bowl you insert the collection bowl for your noodles, then your blade disc, and finally the feed chute lid which includes a food pusher to safely push the veggies down. Although the first time putting it all together might seem a little confusing, once you see how it is done it is very quick an easy. Once you place the top cover on, the Ninja automatically turns on and recognizes the attachment offering modes just for the auto-spiralizer so no worry of choosing the wrong speed or setting. The pusher helps you keep pressure on the veggies as they are turned into noodles leaving only a sliver of leftover vegetable that it can’t cut, much like the same bit left when using a mandolin. Included are the spaghetti and fettucine blades and a cleaning tool. An angel hair, pappardelle, and ribbon blade available separately for purchase. If any criticism could be levied at this it’s that Ninja doesn’t offer even more blades. Our family loves cheese and it is by far cheaper in blocks that you shred yourself. If Ninja could offer cheese grater options it could add even further value to an overall great package.
Although the design carries over from previous generations, there are a lot of small refinements one would expect with a new model. The first change might have you question the design in that the latest iteration has dropped the maximum power from 1500 watts to 1200 watts. Whatever the reason, functionally no loss of performance could be detected as it powered through everything thrown at it and did so in every case better than it’s predecessor. Besides the dramatic cosmetic change, most changes are subtle. The blade for the blender has slightly different design. If you have the old model and place them side by side, you will see it. It seems to make a difference because the new combination can produce snowcone ice that is extremely fine. The best description is almost fluffy. This also comes as surprise because most blenders can’t fully crush ice without a liquid to pull the ice to the blade. In snow cone mode it automatically pulses the blade in a manner that produces very consistent results and manages to get all the ice fully crushed. This is part of the intelligence of the Intelli-Sense system. Previous generations could make quick work out of just about anything. However; sometimes to get it just the way you wanted, you had to resort to more manual control including in some cases manually pulsing the blend or changing speeds. With the new Intelli-Sense system it was fun trying to see how little work could be done and get great results. When making a smoothie all you had to do was add the proper ratio of ingredients, the liquid ratio is important for this attachment, and it would start off the blend and pulse or change speed as need as well as time the overall blend. If you liked smoothies with the old Ninja Kitchen systems but wished that spinach and kale were more finely chopped for a smoother drink, you’re in luck. Whatever they have changed in the process, smoothies were much smoother than previous generations of Ninjas and didn’t require any chewing of those leafy greens. The chop is not quite as fine as the units that the local smoothie shop, but it is so close you will find yourself happy to save the money and stay at home and making your own just way you want.
Overall the Ninja Intelli-Sense Kitchem System is an improvement over what was arguable already a great kitchen product. It offers even more versatility while improving ease of use. If it is anything like previous Ninja products it will last a long time. In fact, the previous kitchen system was still going strong and now just needs a new home. If you have a previous generation and are on the fence about upgrading, the main questions to ask would be would if you want a noodler or would you really like the automatic blend modes. If you don’t have a Ninja and want a versatile kitchen tool, it is hard to go wrong with a Ninja.

Model #CT682SP
Powerful, Intelligent, All-in-1 Blender
OUT OF THE BOX
Wow! That was my 1st reaction to unboxing this system. I’ve worked w/many home kitchen blending/mixing systems over the yrs., & this is clearly the best multi-function blender I’ve tested so far. This is a serious machine—a real workhorse w/lots of power as well as the main functions that I want/need. The only real drawback is the very loud motor. I was forced to use my new Sony noise-canceling headphones on the 1st go-round w/this beast.
This Ninja comes w/a quick set-up guide, incl. a nifty peel-off sticker that allowed me to familiarize myself w/the touchscreen controls before the base’s touchscreen was illuminated. This Ninja also comes w/a REAL instruction book! What a refreshing departure from what too many electronics/appliance mfrs. provide today, which is typically only a mini-quick-start guide & a std. redirect to look online for full instructions. The pkg. also includes an 82-page “Mealtime Streamlined” recipe book w/35 “quick & easy” recipes. While I often ignore such bonus materials, which are too often just lame stuffers/throwaways, this booklet actually contains some great inspirational ideas. It comes w/full color photos, ingredients & food prep lists, complete cooking directions, & helpful tips w/lots of practical applications for making great dishes, incl. recipes that showcase each function of the Ninja & demonstrate its broad capabilities.
SUMMARY
This 4-in-1 system conceivably could, at least for some, free up a great deal of kitchen counter space by replacing 4 types of specialized blenders, incl., e.g.: a Magic Bullet personal smoothie blender, a traditional KitchenAid countertop pitcher blender, a Cuisinart food processor, & an OXO Good Grips hand-cranked veggie spiralizer. How so? Well, this Ninja comes w/4 interchangeable hi-performance appliances that attach to 1 powerful 1200W smart base. Its 4 plastic containers or ‘vessels’, as Ninja calls them, are easy to assemble & load onto the base unit. Each vessel is imprinted w/helpful icons, measurement markings, & practical usage guides. The intuitive touchscreen base comes w/12 pre-set smart program buttons. Which menu of buttons is displayed is a function of which unique vessel is locked onto the base—a concept Ninja refers to as “Smart-Vessel Recognition”. Impressively, these chef-designed pre-set programs are precisely calibrated—combining unique speed, power, & torque adjustments w/a unique set of timed pulsing, pausing, & blending patterns—all of which is designed to help take the guesswork out of drink- & meal-making. As an example of Ninja’s Smart-Vessel Recognition, when you attach the Single-Serve Cup vessel, the 4 options displayed are: Smoothie, Extract, Refresher, & Dressing. Drilling down, the Smoothie option, e.g., will vary the speed & cycle of the blending thru repeated auto-pauses that allow larger frozen fruit chunks to sink w/in range of the blades before it starts blending again. This ensures that all the ingredients, regardless of shape, size, & temp (solid or liquid, frozen or not), are fully blended to the correct consistency. (No chunks & no lumps!) And w/the digital timer display, you can hit the button & walk away, knowing that you’ll still get the results you want. Or you can stay & watch the hands-free progress of the pre-set blending program as it counts down exactly how long it’ll be ‘til your perfectly blended drink is ready. Of course, if you prefer not to use the pre-programmed buttons, you can always manually override the pre-sets & exercise hands-on control by using the Low, High, & ‘Pulse’ power button options. [The Extraction program mentioned above is ideal for hard, leafy, or fibrous whole fruits/veggies. (Extracting breaks down the cell walls of fibrous plant foods, releasing the important vitamins/minerals contained w/in while reducing beneficial fiber, pulp, seeds, & skins into a smooth texture, delivering food to your body in an easily digestible/absorbable form.) The Refresher program mentioned above allows you to add natural veggie, fruit, & herb flavors to your water. The Dressing program mentioned above lets you create homemade salad dressings, marinades, & salsas, etc.]
BREAKDOWN
1. HI-SPEED SINGLE-SERVE BLENDER CUP & BLADE: We make a lot of smoothies, so the extra-large 24oz single-serve cup is the perfect size for our blend-&-go smoothies after our morning run/workout. After blending, just flip over the inverted cup, screw on the flip-top travel lid w/drinking spout, & the cup now doubles as a handy double-walled to-go tumbler. This higher capacity trumps my current Magic Bullet maker, which holds just 18oz. And thankfully, the 1200W Ninja motor is very powerful. In fact, the pro extractor blades can pulverize & liquify skins, seeds, & stems for extractions. Likewise, these blades can easily/quickly chop/crush the ice & frozen fruits & nuts that we keep in the freezer for our morning smoothies into finely cut ash. Oh, did I mention that it’s LOUD? By comparison, refreshers, ice pops, morning green shots, & iced coffees are just a walk in the park for the Ninja to blend.
2. TOTAL CRUSHIG PITCHER: The large 72oz pitcher w/its built-in pour spout is an excellent design. This powerful system w/its stacked blade design can make, in large volumes, anything from smoothies to milkshakes to frozen drinks, & anything from ice cream to snow cones to sherbet & sorbet. The blade isn’t screwed on from the bottom like a std. blender; it’s simply inserted & removed from the top. This makes it so much easier when working w/a thick concoction. You can reach in & pull out the blade to easily scoop out the mixture w/a spatula. [The Snow Cone program mentioned above is designed specifically to pulverize ice or frozen fruit into frozen fluff or mush creations like snow cones, granitas (semi-frozen Italian dessert), or slushies.]
3. PRECISION PROCESSOR BOWL: This 64oz (8cup) vessel comes w/2 interchangeable food processing disc blades—a chopping blade & a dough blade [for doughs (up to 2lb), breads, & batters]. You can mix, chop, puree, or garnish most anything from savory to sweet. Pre-set options w/this vessel include: Puree, Dough, Chop, & Dips. Again, the powerful motor makes quick work of meal prep here. On Friday night, I made homemade gluten-free pizza dough in a lot less time than it normally takes, & on Saturday morning, I made our gluten-free pancake batter in a flash. I also saved considerable time/effort making my cauliflower “mashed potatoes” on Sunday. (The Dips program mentioned above is ideal for creating dishes like spinach/artichoke dips & sides w/more texture like mashed potatoes & hummus.)
4. AUTO-SPIRALIZER: The auto-spiralizer is my favorite attachment. No more cranking out zoodles (zucchini noodles) by hand w/my tabletop spiralizer! This unit includes both a spaghetti blade (red disc) & a fettuccini blade (green disc), & there are 3 other blades w/color-coded discs available for separate purchase (angel hair: yellow, pappardelle: orange, & ribbon: blue). If you’re into a low-carb lifestyle or just want to replace pastas w/healthier options, you’ll love this. I’ve “noodled” several types of squash & made some sweet potato curly & shoestring fries as well as hash browns. I’ve also noodled plenty of our weeknight garden salad fixings, incl.: beets, carrots, & cucumbers. The included Collecting Bowl makes it easy to transport the noodles to a pan/bowl. My complaint is that the Collecting Bowl isn’t larger. I have to empty the bowl of noodles after almost every run-thru. Thankfully, the motor isn’t quite as loud w/this particular function.
Stability: The base comes w/suction cup feet which effectively put the 1200W machine in lockdown mode, preventing shifting/skidding/sliding/tipping while the unit is in operation. Yet it’s easy to reposition the base via the built-in release levers hidden in the left & right underside of the machine, where the user naturally places his hands anyway when moving the unit. This is yet more evidence of smart product engineering.
Cleaning: The stainless steel rustproof blades, BPA-free Tritan plastic containers, & lids are all dishwasher safe (top rack only for blade assemblies). Yay! It also comes w/a unique cleaning brush which you’ll want to use; otherwise, your cleaning sponge will be torn to shreds by the sharp blade assemblies.
Power Cord: The cord wrap is placed discreetly behind the base; so, the Ninja looks neat/tidy on your counter. Thankfully, the power cord is 2½ft long (30”) which provides ample reach to multiple electrical outlets above the kitchen counters.
Dimensions: 17½”H x 10”W x 7”D
Warranty: 1yr limited
PROS
-Powerful: 1200W motor gets even difficult jobs done quickly
-Well-Engineered/Designed: secure fit w/all vessels locking solidly onto base & lids locking securely onto vessels
-Versatile: can arguably take the place of multiple specialized countertop appliances as an all-in-1 blender/processor
-Easy to Use: intuitive, easy to operate, & easy to assemble/disassemble
-Easy to Clean: dishwasher-safe parts
CONS
-Noisy: 1200W of power is great, but the engineers need to design the next model w/noise dampening. It’s just too loud.
-Plastic Containers: Just as the cutting blades are rightly made of stainless steel, the containers should be made of glass. Glass is preferred for sanitary, cleaning, leaching & overall health & durability reasons, especially at this higher price pt.
BOTTOM LINE
So far, everything I’ve made w/this Ninja has turned out great, incl.: several types of frozen fruit & fresh veggie smoothies, several types of fresh vegetable noodles for salads & stir-fry, my cauliflower ‘mashed potatoes’, & my sweet potato fries & hash browns. What a great wedding gift this would make for a young couple starting out. It would also make a great Christmas or birthday gift for the right family member.

When I originally opened the box I was amazed at how much is include. This is a one stop chop for so many things. With this system you can make smoothies, frozen drinks, ice cream, snow cones, dressings, extract or make refreshers (coconut water) Puree, chop, make dough dips and noodles and so much more.
The quality of this unit is top notch. The base is pretty heavy and uses 1200 Watts of power. More than enough to chop most anything. The base also has 4 very strong suction cups so it will not move, to get it unstuck I has to slide mine off the counter haha. The quality of all the bowls or pitchers and the rest are also top notch.
There are so many different things you can do with this. At first I didn’t know what settings to use. But with the Intelli-Sense system the only options to use are presented to you when you connect the bowl to the unit. Better known as Smart vessel recognition. It intuitively displays preset buttons programs for specific jobs.
The included manuals, instructions and recipe/idea book are awesome plus tons more ideas on the internet.
Included in the box are the Total crushing pitcher, base ,single serve cup and cutter, precision processor, extractor blades for dough- chopping- spiralizer- spaghetti and fettuccine blades and more.
On the first night I tested making snow cones, I filled the total crushing pitcher with ice, and hit the preprogrammed snow cone selection and in seconds I had powdered ice. Although it was LOUD, the results were great, I poured snow cone syrup on it and the kids devoured it.
Next up I make a smoothie with ice cream and fruits, again AWESOME, The preprogrammed settings are just right. It starts blending and stops at different times to ensure all heavy material has time to sink to bottom for a nice even drink without lumps. Then on two fruit ice, I used 10-12 frozen strawberries and hit the ice cream and it was done in seconds (the frozen drink setting would have done just as good for a choice.) Once again the kids devoured it.
This system is a must for every cook, as it will make meal or drink/treat prep so much easier and taste so much better. I am sorry I waited so long to try it.
Out to the trash goes my old cheap blender, I know I will never go back.
I would most definitely recommend this to friends or family. You would be silly to pick up something of lesser quality. In the end you will regret it if you did.

Awesome Blender replaces multiple appliances

First Impression:
Having used other Ninja Blenders before, this newest model apparently keeps up their tradition of making solid useful heavyweight kitchen appliances. At first, I thought the touch screen was gimmicky, but you'll see later in the review it actually makes sense. This blender is typical of Ninja's 1200w base and pitcher. Most materials are heavyweight plastic but well made. I was bummed to see that older ninja pitchers do NOT fit on this base, but the older ninja smoothie containers/mason jars DO. The solid base that is mostly enclosed and somewhat easy to clean is also typical of Ninja's well made blenders. The pitcher included the long blade with intermediate choppers to make short work of ice.
Spiralizer:
New to me was the spiralizer that Ninja included with this kitchen system. I love any time I can gain new tools and toys without having to waste more room in the kitchen. This appliance gains on that by utilizing the powerful motor/base of the blender. I did take a stab at cooking a meal with zucchini noodles as a replacement for pasta and was shocked at how much my family enjoyed it. After reading more about this tool, I'm guessing hardcore spiralizers will be down on it for the fact that it only includes blades for two shapes of noodles, and the spiralizer itself DOES take up a decent amount of space even though it doesn't include the motor. For someone like me who will casually dabble in the spiralizing of veggies for pasta, I'm more than pleased with it and the fact that I didn't have to buy another appliance.
Food Processor:
Again I was appreciative of the fact that I gained another kitchen tool with this gadget and didn't have to give up a whole cupboard. The Food processor locked onto the base just like the spiralizer and the blender does.
Overall:
This thing is the master of both smoothies and margaritas and everything in between. I mentioned earlier that I initially thought the touchscreen on the newest model was gimmicky, however after having used all the attachments and multiple vessels now with the Ninja, it's revealed a useful feature - it only shows the modes that work best for the container you have locked onto the ninja at the time. The Smart Modes blend and pulse just as if you were standing there working the button yourself to get optimal blending. This thing is great and I would highly recommend.

A blender that can do it all

The Ninja - Intelli-Sense is a blender that can pretty much handle whatever task you throw at it. Ninja in my opinion has always been a leader in the game of health and fitness when it comes to their blender and juicer lines. The Ninja - Intelli-Sense is a series that holds strong to its past with very few if any short comings. Out of the box your going to receive several items. Your going to receive the motor base (which houses Ninja's Intelli-Sense), personal 24oz blender bottle, 72oz pitcher, processor bowl, spiralizer bowl, spaghetti blade disc, fettuccine blade disc,a recipe book and four other blades to help accomplish your task. The base and heart of this whole operation looks very sleek with its glossy black touch screen that will come up with prompts based on which adapter/bowl you install. This system is based on Ninja's Intelli-Sense which basically makes this product easy to use. If you have never blended or are barely getting in to the health aspect of juicing or making your own protein drinks then this is the right product for you. Lets talk about the base for a second and how it works. So with the Intelli-Sense system if there is no adapter that is attached it will not turn itself on or even prompt any menu items on the touch screen (as seen in the attached picture). This is a great feature that helps protect the motor from free spinning and burning itself out, especially useful if you have little ones that like pressing buttons. Once an adapter/bowl is installed, the base is able to detect which adapter you have placed on it and will pull up the appropriate prompts for said adapter. In the attached picture a personal 24oz blender bottle was put on and the appropriate prompts came up for that bottle. Once you press what it is you are trying to do the blender will do all the work. For example i like to make myself personal protein drinks in the morning so once i put my items together in my 24oz supplied bottle i'll hit the smoothie option. Once i press the button i can walk away and do something else. The base will pull up the time necessary to complete the job which in this case is 30 seconds, and then it will start automatically and use the appropriate cycles to complete this. For example the blender will kick on at high speed for 3 seconds then it will stop for about 2 seconds allowing everything to settle back to the bottom, then it will start to pulse or puree for the next 5 seconds then stop so it can settle again, and so on. The biggest downfall i saw right off the bat was the noise level. This is by far the loudest blender i have ever owned in my life. I understand why its loud, which is due to its high RPM draw but i would of thought they could of found a way to at least muffle the noise bringing down the decibel level. All i have to say is if you have family or roommates living with you and your planning on making a drink before you leave in the morning, you had also better plan on waking everyone in the house up, its that loud and the only reason for me not giving it 5 stars. Lets talk about the different adapters/bowls and the options available to them. One of the adapters provided is the precision processor bowl. The options available for this are puree, chop, dip, dough, low/high speed and pulse. This is a petty cool set up that allows you to make dips and even dough for pizza or pies within the matter of seconds to minutes. Wanna make pancake batter but dont feel like making a mess? Not a problem, the precision bowl can handle the job for you all within a confined bowl in a matter of seconds with very little clean up after. Next is your standard mixing pitcher which options for that are ice cream, smoothie, frozen drink, snow cone, low/high speed and pulse. This is your standard bowl you probably grew up with and are used to seeing when making mixed drinks. Next is the spiralizer bowl which is the only adapter/bowl that does not have and automated option, meaning you have to manually hold the blend button. The main reason behind this i think is the fact that this bowl serves mainly as a chopper and noddle maker rather than an actual blender. With this your given two adapters to help accomplish your task. You have your spaghetti blade disc and your fettuccine blade disc. With the spiralizer the things you can make are endless, for example my first night i made hot dogs and i wanted curly fries. I pealed back some potatoes and used the spiralizer to make me some fresh curly fries which i then cooked. They came out a little thinner then i would of liked but nonetheless it was still a quick task accomplished. Also did i mention it can also be used to piggy back as a juicer? Well it can, and what makes it such a good juicer is the fact that everything and i mean EVERYTHING gets used and not wasted like some certain juicers out there on the market today. Look i can go on and on about all the things this all in one system can do but i would have pages of endless ramble. In reality this thing can do everything from making protein drinks on the go to making a party size of your world famous salsa for the big football game, really it comes down to the limitations of your mind.
Pros:
-Very sleek looking design
-Intelli-sense built in program
-Very well blended drinks with little to no bulk
-Multiple adapters
-Personal blender bottle for on the go drinks
Cons:
-Very loud operation

Ninja Intelli-Sense Kitchen System (CT682SP)
Setup/Testing/Conclusion
My oh my where do I begin with this thing… Let me start with the packaging. When you see the colors on the outside packaging you’re already hooked. You’ll be intrigued to go up to it to read all the goodies printed on the box.
Upon opening up the packaging, you’ll notice the beautifully color printed 35 recipe inspiration guide with all the other manuals. Going through the booklet even got me excited to try this beast out. When I say beast, it’s because there are definitely a lot of parts to this thing. Make sure you clean up your kitchen prior to purchasing this because you’ll need the room, trust me!
When it comes to the blades and the containers, I really enjoy the quality. Do I think there could be improvements? Personally yes. Why? Because everything is plastic except for the blades (unless we’re talking about the dough blade here… which is completely plastic). I would’ve liked to see more glass and metal, personally. What I mean by this is perhaps the containers be made of glass and the blades be completely metal all around. But nonetheless, Ninja did a great job with getting some quality durable plastic. As for the 1200 watt base, the touchscreen is responsive and clear. Overall I like the way the system looks and it makes your kitchen look smart and high tech!
So I have to say… This system is AMAZING. I literally used everything except for the dough blade because I didn’t have anything to make that required the dough setup. But I literally made everything from zoodles (zucchini noodles) to cauliflower mash to snow cones. Every single time it did a fantastic job. I liked the auto spiralizer the most, it was fun and effortless. I was able to make zoodles, cauliflower mash, and snow cones in less time than I would have ever with other kitchen gadgets. The only thing that happened to me personally that I didn’t agree with 100% is the snow cone that I made. The system did a pretty good job with crushing ice (it was loud at first and scared me) but did leave some whole chunks of ice. But I mean.... This system technically isn’t a snow cone maker so no points deducted! It did a pretty good job with making snow though! Perhaps I need to run the snow cone option twice? This system literally is your go to for everything and it will get the job done, period. Make sure you read/look through the quick assembly instructions because it definitely helps.
As for cleaning, it was relatively simple. I hand washed a couple things and threw a couple things into the dishwasher. I noticed in the instructions that it tells you that it “recommends” you to put everything on the top rack. The only reason why I think this is… plastic. As mentioned above the parts are pretty much plastic. If you put things on the bottom rack with the heating element, overtime it will most likely warp due to the heat. This is another reason why I mentioned above that I wished things were glass and metal. But overall, clean up was pretty simple and no headaches here!
The biggest question is… Would I recommend this system to friends and family? YOU BET I WILL! For what this system costs I would highly recommend purchasing this. You get to do so much with it and it literally handles all your jobs. By the way! I’d like to mention that you only get 2 types of blades for the auto spiralizer. I noticed in the instructions that there are other blades but perhaps Ninja doesn’t offer them just yet. When they release, you bet i’ll buy them. Overall this system was definitely fun to use, convenient, and got the job done every single time.

I've used Ninja products for years. We've had a couple of Bullets on the go for everyday use and love them. When we had the chance to be able to test out the Intelli-Sense Kitchen System, we jumped at it!
Opening the well packaged, brightly colored box, you have 4 different accessories, including a spiralizer for making noodles out of just about anything! You have a 'single serve' bullet style attachment, a regular blender and also a large container for making great frozen drinks.
The base unit itself is a cool, sleek black piece, with a slick looking touchscreen interface on the front. One of the things that wowed me was the attention to detail of how the machine adhered to the counter. The suction cups on the bottom grabbed my granite countertops like a gorilla! The unit has such a good seal, it wouldn't budge, but place your hands underneath and pull release handle on each side and the unit simply lifts off the countertop. That was a really nice feature!
Turn on the machine and it scrolls through 12 preset options, all in a nice white font on the screen. It doesn't look like your traditional touchscreen, much slicker! When you click in your first attachment, the selections available for that attachment are automatically shown on the screen in front of you. It automatically senses it for you (hence the Intelli-Sense name). This is a really handy feature as you can just simply set and go and know you are going to get the result you want.
Switch to a different attachment and you will get a different set of options, based on the attachment you added.
As with any of these type of machine, they are quite loud, but certainly do the job.
The pulse setting made quick work of crushing ice for a slushie. The blades are nice and sharp, strong and appear to be durable. The majority of the unit is made of plastic, but definitely look like they are going to last.
A really nice feature is also the safety lids on the containers. When plugged in, the machine automatically turns off when the lid catch is released. And it's instantaneous. Loved that safety feature.
The spiralizer made short work of one of my favorites, curly fries! There's just something about them that makes them 'better'! There are two color coded attachments that offer you different sizes of spirals. I'm not a spaghetti squash fan, but it made it look just like spaghetti, right away. No fuss at all. The little tool to push down the vegetable into the spiralizer was really helpful too.
Storage... we all end up with limited kitchen space over time and I was nervous with so many attachments and accessories that this would take up a lot of space. I was wrong, the footprint is nice and small and doesn't take up a lot of space at all. The accessories for the most part take up very little space as well. I have it all stored neatly on the left side of one lower cabinet in the kitchen.
And before putting it away, cleaning. I'm always nervous about cleaning the blades on a machine like this, but you can put them in the top rack of the dishwasher and forget about it! Makes using the Ninja Intelli-Sense System a lot more appealing than just once in a while! My mum even used it this morning to quickly chop up some almonds!
Overall this system is a fantastic purchase option and I will absolutely recommend it to my friends!

The Ninja Intelli-Sense Kitchen System is a great start to a healthier morning/day. The system comes with all of the devices needed to prep you food, smoothies, etc. Best of all, it is so easy to use.
I enjoy using the Ninja Intelli-Sense Kitchen System. I get up before work and prep my morning smoothie to enjoy on my way to work. I just power it on, press a button, and come back to the perfect smoothies in the morning. This thing is really powerful, and can really crush ice and other frozen fruits like nothing.Ninja's "Intelli-Sense" system is great. No more clumps of frozen fruits/ice in the mornings. This thing is great.
I would highly recommend the Ninja Intelli-Sense Kitchen System to anybody. It's a little pricey, but well worth it as it is a multi purpose blending system.

The Ninja is amazing item to have on hand. This is due to the fact that when they call it intelligent it really is. Ninja Intelli-Sense has saved me time off cooking with the auto features it provides. With 1200 watts of power this thing delivers all kinds of wonders for your home.
The touch panel of this device is truly the star of the show. It changes based on which tool you use. I like the touchscreen because it's very simple to get clean and a very smart idea. There are 12 smart programs that give you the optimal results making soups, smoothies, snow cones and a whole lot more (I'll touch upon this later.) These auto programs are there when just want to make the right meal and don't want to deal with the manual blending. So far this feature works well and its fun to use auto. I've used it plenty of times before writing the review with mainly smoothies and sauces.
Total Crushing Pitcher: This is the main 72 oz pitcher and I downright love this thing. it CRUSHES ice without out a problem making the mango smoothies. They came out fantastic and refreshing. I certainly can't live without this now. The Frozen juice it does a great job making the right consistency. This tool makes Smoothies, Frozen juice, Ice cream, and Snow cones and settings all work fine.
Precision Processing: This tool 64 oz bowl makes Puree, Chops up, Dough, and Dips. Again it came out perfect here making steller dips for chips. I even took a step beyond and made habanero lime salsa, This I thought was beyond my limits but not with the Ninja system. I can make all of these cool things on my own.
High-Speed Blending: You can make Smoothies (faster), Extract from, Refresher, and Dressing in a 24 oz cup. This does the blending at a faster rate but a smaller pitcher.
Auto-Spiralize: You can make spirals like Fettuccini blades, Spaghetti blades, Veggie noodles and curly fries. I haven't tried this feature out but if it works like the rest then I'm sure its fine. I don't feel I'm at that cooking level yet so I'll save that for another time.
All of these features combined make for a well-rounded machine. The Ninja itself is easy to set up with clear instructions and wasn't hard to put together. The base itself is well designed that grips the countertop making sure it doesn't move. I happen to enjoy the Ninja Intelli-Sense because of the ease of use. there isn't much else to say about it. if you looking for a powerful kitchen tool this is it. I would recommend to everyone who looks to be better as a chef too as it helped me better my cooking skills.

I have quite the collection of kitchen appliances/products that I used for cooking. I was able to get rid of a few of them and just use this. Going protein and veggies, I replaced a lot of carbs with veggie substitutes. For example instead of traditional rice, I switch over to cauliflowered rice , instead of pasta I went to spaghetti squash. All these required some sort of food processor or spiralizer and even manually with a fork. All these different products that did only one thing took up too much space which my small kitchen. Then I got the Ninja Intelli-Sense.
This thing is pretty ingenious, Ninja included different attachments (juicer, spiralizer, food processor, etc) that the base/processor can sense and switches menus. For the smoothie attachment it has specific options and so on for the spiralizer and even the food processor. I thought that was really great and not a one size fits all type of deal with other food processor systems where you have the "start and stop" buttons only. In addition to these specific options, there are specific programs or processing options available only to the specific attachments.
The smoothie attachment does a better job then my previous smoothie machine, I especially like container they use. Once you're done processing your smoothie you can just put a cap on it and take it to work with you in the car. Another good thing is the containers are very convenient sizes for the jobs they do. Smoothie container is perfect size for protein powder, fruits, ice and liquids. Food processor container is great for doing an almost complete head of cauliflower. One of my favorite tool is the spiralizer, I can make veggie pasta so easy now and best of all CURLY FRIES AND HASH BROWN!!!! I mean without any manual labor. The system does have it's limits so you need to select close to right size potato or cut it down to the right size in order to fit the spiralizer attachment but I really didn't have much problems making curly fries.
The Ninja Intelli-Sense, seems to be very durable and sturdy. Compared to my other major brand named kitchen products this seem up to par and even better. I'm very happy with the quality material used. That being said I'd highly recommend this for anyone looking to replace a few of their kitchen appliances for this all-in-one system.

Lots of choices

Wow! This product is big. There are many containers! I have never had a food processor, nor made homemade pasta. It was a bit intimidating at first. In fact, I was down right scared. There are a lot of blades and plenty of warnings about how sharp they are. I know this to be true, because I have a ninja chopper that has cut both me and my husband. I set up the blender for my first trial. When I plugged it in, there was a single red icon on the large black display. With some trepidation, I pressed the button. A beautiful display lit up showing several choices. My first choice to try was a smoothie concoction using frozen whole strawberries, peaches and vanilla ice cream. I loaded up the huge frozen strawberries, frozen peaches an ice cream. I put the lid on and pressed the smoothie button. Nothing happened. Hummmmm, had I already broken it? Nope, I checked the lid and hadnt clicked it in place properly. It has a kind of locking safety mechanism and doesn’t operate if not locked in place. Good! I pressed the button again and it began a program that involved a timer countdown with pauses. It did a great job. There is a pause/stop button, a pulse and lots of selections. I’m still trying to figure out all the containers. I think my next attempt will be curly fried sweet potatoes. I might become a good cook with my ninja! The smoothies turned out pretty good. I did have to scrape the sides (very carefully) several times and add milk to make it soupy enough to blend. Next time I will follow a recipe.

Great Multipurpose Tool

I have several Ninja blender type products and their newest entry, the Intelli-Sense Kitchen System adds some new tools and some nice new features. One of the reasons I wanted this system was for the large Food processor bowl. The Ninja is always on the counter, my Food Processor isn't. So it's really nice for my blender to have an attachment to do some chopping of ingredients. I like to make salsa and using the new bowl I was able to put in 4 nice size Roma tomatoes, a cup of chopped red onion, plenty of cilantro and some various other ingredients. The new Intelli-Sense feature of the blender recognized I had the Food Processor Bowl attached and offered up a Chop option on the new context senstive touchscreen menu. 20 seconds later I had wonderful salsa. Yes!
A new attachment for the Nija is the Auto-Spiralizer. It's a nifty little set of attachments that allow you to take some vegatables or fruit and have it sliced into long strands that are formed like spaghetti. The System comes with 2 blades that create different thickness strands. It looks like you can purchase 3 other blades that add more thicknesses. I decided that I wanted to try it on potatoes to make some hash browns. The operation to do the cutting was simple and effective. In a minute I had 3 potatoes shredded perfectly. The system has a recipe book that shows you how to take squash and like vegatables to make various dishes with. It's an interesting way to consume some vegetables!
The Intelli-Sense system worked great when I used it to make some Margerita's in the blender. After putting in all the liquid I added several cups of ice. I selected the Frozen Drink option on touchscreen. One minute later I had a wonderful slushy drink with no chunks of ice.
The blender base added a really nice new feature from previous versions. The base has suction cups so it doesn't move around on your counter while blending. The side effect though is that it's a bit difficult to actually move the base when it's time to put it away because it sticks so well. Now the base has a large "button" on each side of the base where you grab it. In a completely natural motion, you grab the base, which depresses the button, and the base basically releases its grip on the counter so you can easily move it. That tells me Ninja is listening to consumer issues.
Ninja offered up a new "tall and slimmer" version of their 24oz Ninja Cup. I'm not sure why the design change but the good news is that all your old cups and blades will work on the base.
All in all, another solid item put out by Ninja.

A Swiss Army Knife Blender, Stylish and Modern

I recently started making food at home instead of purchasing through restaurants or fast food chains. Also it is due to being a student on a limited income.
I normally like to make Parfaits, guacamole dips, Margaritas, crush ice desserts, salsa, pancake mix, ceviche(seafood) and milkshakes.
One thing that caught my eye of this Ninja set was the amount of accessories that is included. It has a little bit of everything for your kitchen needs. One of my favorites in the single Serve Cup! It's easy to clean and great for my on the go needs due to the spout lid. I sometimes take meals on the go and i used to hate cleaning my old blender because it was a process and time consuming, now i don't have that problem anymore.
This is really a "Intelli" or intelligent blender. It automatically recognizes each container and sets the correct presets for it. Not your ordinary blender. I also like that the buttons have a touch screen "intuitive touchscreen" feel to them instead of the buttons popping out like your traditional blenders. Very stylish and modern. I also like the release button on top of the lids, although I don't have children i think it's great to have for safety in case you have small children around the house.
It's very fast, 1200 Watts is more then enough to take care of all your blender needs. The containers are plastic but they are heavy and look durable. The containers also contain multiple blades throughout the container instead of your traditional bottom blades, so you don't have keep sticking the spoon inside the container like i used to do just to make sure it gets properly blended. lol
I am really impressed with this blender, its fast, durable, has a lot of options(the single serve cup is my favorite), and its a trusted brand; Ninja. I'll be definitely be using this blender. It was so nice that my mom decided to buy one as well, for her soft serve ice cream business. I would recommend to anymore you won't regret it!! I know the price is a little high but you'll see that this blender is worth every penny.

I'm usually leery about buying the latest kitchen gadget only to find we don't use it and it just takes up counter space and collects dust. With this Ninja system, though, I don't think that's going to be the case. We eat a lot of fruit smoothies so this will certainly replace our ordinary blender, but I think it'll give us even more options that'll we use, too.
The "intelli-sense" feature is very cool. The menu screen is blank until you put on an attachment, then it gives you the appropriate buttons for that attachment. But the best feature for us is that once you hit the button you just watch the countdown timer and wait until the final product is done. Gone are the somewhat dangerous days of using the old blender where we had to take the lid off and stir ice chunks down towards the blade so everything got blended. With this system, we push the button and everything comes out smooth when it's done.
It also includes a very nice little recipe book to get you started. My wife started making a grocery list for recipes she wanted to try as she was flipping through the book the first time. Soup with zucchini noodles, hummus, and ice cream are three top recipes we want to try. To make ice cream, you do have to freeze the liquid mixture in ice cube trays ahead of time, blend everything, then let the final product set up in the freezer for about 15 minutes. Still, that's seems like a pretty easy way to make it. We've made the chicken soup with spiraled zucchini noodles so far, and it was delicious! (picture attached)
Another nice feature is the attachment that can be used to make cookie dough. As we've gotten older, mixing cookie dough by hand has become more difficult and we started using the pre-made dough. With this, I think we'll be able to get back to our original family recipes again and let the Ninja do all the work.
I'm extremely pleased with this system so far. It's fun to use and easy to clean up. I think it'll be a great addition to our kitchen tools.

I've noticed Ninja has been updating their products in small ways. My pervious Ninja had a lever that had to be used to secure the unit from shaking. That one is more natural, no lever just pick up and place down. Less moving parts, easy to clean. Instructions for beginners and a book for some cooking ideas and how to use the product appropriately. The parts aren't interchangeable unfortunately.

This set up is really awesome. The blender is very powerful and has blades that go all the way up. Makes great smoothies and anything else you want to do. The food processor is great and the single serve blender is also powerful and very useful. The plastics the items are made of are very thick and durable. Lots of safety features built in. Touch screen is nice. Very sleek looking appliance. Over all its a wonderful system. Goes great with our Ninja coffee bar system.

This is the best kitchen tool I have bought in ages! Couldn't be happier with the purchase at this point! Though I mostly use it for smoothies and coffee drinks, I have used it for chopping up ingredients for making a nice shrimp and herb pasta dinner.
