I had been buying cheap blenders for years. They never lasted & would start to lose power. I use this every morning for my smoothies & it works great. I love the locking lid feature so I can do other things while it's blending. Works great!

I've worn out blenders. Many blenders. I use them to make things like hummus. After burning out the motor in a cheap blender obtained by another big box *on the first use,* the carcass was chucked because it would have cost more in gas than to return it. The Ninja came with lots of stuff that I thought I'd never use. Now, we have smoothies, granola, and hummus. This has so much torque that it exhibits a desire to rotate in the opposite direction of blade spin. It goes through *everything* in a fraction of the time that any other blender would take minutes to process. It works so well that it justifies the higher price, *and* it's so quick that it makes it worthwhile to use the attachments. If you are on the fence, hop off. If you remember the old infomercials, well, they weren't kidding. This thing really is a ninja.

This is excellent for a family of 3. It’s especially good for making dough. Very powerful machine that saves space. Maybe it wouldn’t be enough for larger families.

This blender rocks. We've had the old $30-50 ones you get a walmart/target/etc and they are terrible. This blender works perfectly and the two smoothie attachments are great as well. We haven't used the food processor part yet but I'm sure it will work as advertised.

I like this blender system. It is powerful, although the controls are basic it does what I need it to do. I like the food processing ability but I wish it had a slicer with it. The small blending containers are a plus. I use them when experimenting on a new juice recipe.

I purchase this item to assist me in my 10 Day Smoothie cleanse. It excels in performance versus other brand blender. In all actuality, it recently replaced my Nutri-Bullet. I highly recommend this item.

I got this for my protein shakes and man what a beast!! sounds like a hellcat motor but destroys anything inside, makes the best shakes hands down!!

Good price and good stuff. If everyone buy , it is really good stuff. I bought 2 years ago it was working fine but my daughter dropped in the floor and it is broken so I am buying same item again. This is the good stuff for me.

No doubt...great price...great appliance...be careful as blades are sharp...great features...dough, blend, crush, single serve.and pulse for frozen fruit...great for the health nuts... for smoothies and shakes you can't beat it !!!...Enjoy...

This blender is the balls! so much you can do with it, ive made smoothies and chocolate chip cookies and pancakes and shakes and chopped veggies, the options with this machine are almost endless.... do I even need that kitchen aid mixer now... I don't think so yet!

While I haven't had this blender for long yet - it is a HUGE step up from the last blender I had. I use this blender primarilly for smoothies and it works great! My husband and I are really enjoying our first Ninja - and would definitely recommend this blender.
