The 2DS is a fantastic console that not only allows me to play all the games I'd like to play on a DS, but it let me do it for the low price of $80. While the 3DS is currently listed at $200 on it's own, I walked away with the 2DS, Mario Kart 7 which is included with it, and four other games for the exact same price.

My son who's only 3 got the hang of using it all by himself really quick. It's easy and it seems it's strong also

Purchased for my 11 yo daughter for Christmas. She loves it! Appreciate the ability to block certain functions.

This is a simple, stripped down version of the 3DS, but it works perfectly. Can not run games in 3D, but if you are worried about your child safety with 3D, this would be a good choice. Perfect for someone on a budget who wants to get themselves (or their child) into a huge library of excellent Nintendo handheld games.

I purchased 2 of these for my 9 and 10 year old boys. They love them very easy to play.

It's way cheaper than the normal 3ds but still you could play almost all 3ds games in 2d. Budget-friendly

I got this for my 4 year old and she loved it. She didn't let it go for one second. The batter life was pretty good.

My 4 year old asked for a Nintendo switch for Christmas. I refused to buy him a $300 gaming console. I looked at the Nintendo DS and decided to buy him the 2 DS. Very reasonably priced. Great for a beginner. The only downside is that I bought a screen protector so the screens wouldn’t get scratched. The stylus doesn’t work with the protector on. I’m Not sure if it’s the screen protector or the stylus. Regardless I’m happy with my purchase.

I never use the 3D on my 3ds anyway....Why pay for a feature I don't need?

Previously had a 3DS and never used the 3D part. I bought this one for my kids. 3DS games without the 3DS price.

I bought this for my 5yr grandson. He absolutely has a blast playing his 2D Nitendo! This was money well spent!

It plays all platforms of DS games including 3D, just not actually in 3D.nice not to have to buy 2 DS consoles
