I used to have a 3ds and i found the 3d part upset my eyes and gave me bad headaches. Yes you can turn it off but I decided instead to get a 2ds. The 2ds is very comfortable to hold in your hands, my only con about its design is where the volume slider is. I sometimes mute my game on accident by hitting the volume on the side with a hand. Yo Kai Watch This is a game based off an anime of the same name. In the series a young boy named Nate finds a Yo Kai in a prize machine. The Yo Kai Whisper gives Nate the watch which allows him to see Yo Kai. Yo Kai are spirit creatures that mess with humans. The game starts with that intro from the show but only difference you can also play as a girl character named Katie. You can use three yo kai in battle and carry six in total. Spinning a wheel on the touchscreen you can change which three of six are active. The Yo Kai fight mostly on their own except you control their special attack which is done by a touch screen minigame. All in all this is a wonderful game to start a 2ds library.

Great hand console providing hours of fun. The size and design reminds me of a gameboy and the package delivered it was delivered in was complete. The price was great as well and with Nintendo games dropping price, its a good time to buy games and enjoy this little device even more.

Plays the games fine. However, though it feels durable, you can tell it was made on a low budget. This isn't a big deal as it costs a third as much as the newest version of the 3DS. The Yo-kai Watch game is fun.

My kids were drawn to the 3DS when they saw mom and dad playing NSMB2 on our 3DS XL a while back, and then a few virtual console games as well. Eventually we felt that they were old enough to play the games themselves, but the XL was just too big and clumsy for their hands. The 2DS (which plays 3DS games - Nintendo has never been good at naming thngs...) was perfect - there's no hinge, no headache inducing 3D functionality to worry about, and it's sturdy to boot. Would absolutely recommend if giving to a child. Older kids/young adults will probably still appreciate the hinged 3DS XLs for their style and functionality.

Got it as a gift for my 6 year old sister. It's less fragile because it doesn't fold up, and it doesn't have the useless 3d functionality, so it's also cheaper than the 3ds

He's only 4 so I didn't want the expense of the 3DS. My only criticism is that Best Buy doesn't carry a protective case for this model yet. I had to order it from Amazon. The cases that were online said it fit all the DS's but when it arrived it said it was only for the 3DS

Bought this for my nephew. He loves it. Plays all 3ds games. Just not in 3D. If you don't care for 3D then save a lot of money and buy the 2ds

The system plus the gm for a great price can't go wrong perfect size for my 5yr old

I have enjoyed the 2DS system and its playability and great value, but after just a few hours of use the plastic border around the top screen is pulling off in the corner. Very cheap, I expect more from Nintendo

My son loves his 2DS. He is 5 and I was told to purchase this one compared to the newer 3DS because it more sturdy for younger kids. He loves YO-Kai!!!

Wanted to get into the 3ds for the new Pokémon but it's at the end oh it's cycle , the 2ds is great for the price and works really great too, would buy again

This is a great system for the price. Plays 3DS games but cost a lot less than the 3DS. I bought 4 now for my kids.

This is a great product it has worked flawlessly and we have no complaints it is well worth the price paid.

i bought this for my 8 old boy bday he love yoki watch and with the game being 40 bucks alone i thought this was a good deal for 79.99 he loves it he can watch Hulu Netflix YouTube and play his games the only reason it got 3 stars the stylus DOES NOT stay in it falls out he lost it the same day he got it and we already had to buy a new pack

I am very happy with it. The battery holds up well. It seems durable. It's a nice weight.

Purchased for my grandson to use on a lengthy trip for his vacation and he loved it!
