My Children love to collect the characters. They can customize each character to its own fighting style.

Like I said with Falco, it looks real and is one of my boys favorite characters on super smash brothers! If there were more available, I would buy them!

Fox McCloud is probably the best detailed Amiibo. This Foxy Flyer has so much going on but it flows as smooth as an Barrel Rolling Arwing. The pose is sweet, the eyepiece is cool and that jacket is really fresh. If you can find Star Fox for the 3DS I highly recommend it if you want to see what this guy can do in space. Spoiler Alert: He blows up everything.

Great design, very detailed. He's been very difficult to get as I believe he was somewhat discontinued for a while. He is compatible with 3DS Smash Bros. as well as the Wii U Smash Bros. (and hopefully with future games that feature him!) Totally worth it!

Like many of his fellow amiibo, Fox comes through by displaying an active pose on top of his pedestal, which can be used in both Super Smash Bros. for 3DS, or for WiiU! If Fox is your go-to for smashing, this figure is hard to pass up!

Even though Fox is a bit hard to find, he's definitely one of my favorite Amiibos. I'm hoping when the new Star Fox game is released on Wii U that they'll add functionality with him in it.

It's no secret that amiibo figures have been tough to find. While fox isn't the most difficult to track down, he is still quite a challenge. If you are lucky enough to pick up a fox though, congratulations! Of all the amiibo I've purchased or seen in stores, Fox is the most detailed of them all. Personally, I think his detail is on par with that of Marth or Shulk, it may even exceed them! I'm also happy to have a reasonably priced collectable from the Star Fox series. Without this amiibo, my family probably wouldn't have been introduced to the series. They have since become fans of Star Fox and, like many of us, are patiently awaiting the next release.

Trying to get a hold of these Amiibo figurines as been such a hassle with mass stock issues nationwide. I got into Amiibo a bit late and was disappointed to find out that many of the characters I had initially wanted were now hard to find. Just by chance I asked the people at the customer service desk if they could look up an SKU and they did and found just one left in the back room. The quality of the figure is great, the details are fantastic, and it looks great with the rest of my collection of amiibo.

Fox has some nice little details and touches to it. Which, unfortunately, means it's most likely to have imperfections. The two I've decided to get both had inconsistent paint jobs around his collars. A personal gripe with the ones I got were that their packaging was really damaged when displayed on the racks. Some of them were so bad, they were practically opened. I'm honestly surprised they were allowed to sell them to me. This is, of course more about my particular Best Buy, and not the product in general, but still. I bought them right when it was confirmed Fox was gonna become rare, so I had no choice but to deal with the packaging. So the boxed one on my shelf looks dumb compared to the rest.

I have wanted a Fox McCloud figure for a very long time. When I first read about the amiibos I knew Fox would be one of the first ones I picked up and I am very impressed. The detail on the figure is very nice, tons of little touches and a crazy good paint job. As far as a toy that will picked up and placed on my Wii U pad again and again it feels nice and sturdy. So for the figure alone I would recommend this to any StarFox/Nintendo fan. But then we have the game integration and this goes to a must have. First off Super Smash Bros Wii U, something about training my little friend is so addictive. Gathering more parts to customize him and the other amiibos has added tons to do to SSBWU. It's so fun fighting with the amiibos in team play or testing my metal against the ones that have reached level 50. Also I've had a few friends come over with their amiibos and it's awesome to pit my fox against someone else's. Mario Kart 8, the Fox costume for my Mii has become my go to driver, putting him in the Blue Falcon just to be the most DLC I can be. Now I would rather just have Fox himself in Mario Kart but being what it is the outfits are very cool. Fox's is by far one of the best. I can't wait to see what other functionality they add in the future with a new StarFox game coming 2015 or 2016.

Very cool piece for collecting as well as functionality with multiple games nintendo is on a roll lately and don't seem to be slowing down any time soon, problem is even in recommending this to everyone I doubt that you will be able to find it in stores, if you do find it then buy it because it won't be there long enough for you to think about it

Amiibo are interesting - awesome as collectible figurines and underwhelming when it comes to unlocking in-game content. Right now Fox works with Mario Kart 8 and Hyrule Warriors and will be compatible with Mario Party 10 when it releases. Hopefully it will also work with Star Fox whenever that comes out. That aside, the Fox Amiibo looks great.

This amiibo is awesomely detailed with a cool action pose. There are also dark blue supports under Fox's feet and knee. Purchase it and train a figure player for Super Smash brothers for the Wii U and use it to also unlock a costume for your Mii in Mario Kart 8. There is even more functionality yet to come! Have fun!

Fox McCloud is a talking Fox. Don't let that lead you to believe that this Amiibo figure talks, though. It does not. This Amiibo works well and is of good quality, like all other Amiibo thus far. It will happily spank your opponents when leveled up to 50 in Super Smash Bros.

Fox was the first character I got of these collectible figures and I love the detail they gave him and the amount of games that I have been able to use him in outside of just Smash Brothers. Now own 2 so I can keep one in its package!

Star Fox is awesome! The figure itself looks nice. You can use it to unlock a Star Fox themed costume for your Mii racer on Mario Kart 8. You can also use it on Smash bros. You can upgrade the figure and advance to other levels to help you gain an advantage on line. It is a good value if you use this figure for both games. If you only use it for Mario Kart, you're basically paying 12 bucks for an outfit.

If you had to choose between this Amiibo and the Link Amiibo, choose this one, because the blue support is better than the yellow one that looks so bad. Hope this will work with Star Fox Zero.

Physical figure wise, Fox looks so fantastic and dashing, easily one of the best detailed figure of wave one along with Peach. They literally textured Fox's fur and his clothes are perfect! (On a side note, I'm so glad his stand is not yellow but an awesome blue instead)! I was overjoyed when he was supported in Mario Kart 8 with his own mii racing suit. In Super Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS, like all amiibos at level 1, Fox didn't do so well but when he got to 50, he was a challenge! I would celebrate if I ever won a battle against Fox at level 50. But of course most of the time Fox would win. He became even better when I gave him custom equipment in game like auto heal.

Bought this to add to my growing amiibo collection in anticipation for the new star fox for wii u. Till then he will be a fun addition to my smash bros roster.

Fox has been in our Nintendo line up since back from the Super Nintendo days. He's a unfortunate shadowed character thanks to his lack of games. Though we are getting a new one this year finally for the Wii U! If you can find one of these elusive Amiibo figures snag him. He's most popular at Best buy locations if they ever pop up. He's ranked currently as Uncommon. Not impossible to find but not easy either. Starfox never gets figures so this is a great addition to anyones nintendo collection if you ever wanted a Fox figure! He's VERY well detailed! Can't wait to see Falco eventually.
