Amiibo figures utilize NFC technology to create additional gaming opportunities for Wii U and 3DS users. My youngest is 5 years old and this is his favorite amiibo. Family friendly games, high definition clarity and sound, and a happy 5 year old. What more can you ask for?

Bought this one for my wife and she loves it. The ability to upgrade them makes it better.

Kirby is my all time favorite character, probably the only character I use in ssb lol. Its kinda cool having the figure because its also a trainable character in game that could end up being better than you if train correctly!

The Kirby amiibo is a well-made (and darn cute!) figure with built-in capabilities that interact with the Wii U gamepad. So far, we've been able to use it for Mariocart 8 (to unlock racing outfits) and in Super Smash Bros (to store amiibo data and unlock special capabilities). Still learning what these can do, but have been impressed so far!

Amiibos are fun. Can't wait for more games to use them.

This amiibo figure is a great addition to any collection. Kirby is a staple Nintendo character, so this specific figure will probably be around for a while and reasonably easy to obtain.

Amiibo's are exciting to the target demographic (like my 7 year old) who are also targeted by Skylanders and Disney Infinity. We purchased Super Smash Brothers for the WiiU to go along with this character and my son was excited about it until he realized he couldn't play as the character himself. Instead they are a "figure player" and assist you when playing. Once he figured that out he lost interest and has gone back to Skylanders. This may not happen with other kids but for some reason his expectation was that he would be to play as the character figure just like the Skylander and Disney games. Once it didn't meet his expectation he moved on and doesn't want any more Amiibo figures. Hopefully some more Amiibo compatible games will come out that will spark his interest.

SO CUTE <(^.^)> Dunno what else to say about it. I don't have Smash Bros or any other Wii game that it can be used with so.. I pretty much just got it cause I love Kirby.

Amiibos are awesome and Kirby is a great place to start your collection- plus it's one of the better designed figures. Good luck out there fellow Amiibo hunters!

The figure is well made. The in-game use is limited. I used the amiibo in Super Smash Bros. I view amiibos as a collector's item rather than an accessory to augment gameplay. If you don't, you might be wondering what you doesn't your money on!

I got this for my sons 9th birthday and he loved it for Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, it was useful in making him invincible for a mission a day. Unfortunately they really wanted it for Smash and they can't be them on that game.

Who doesn't love the pink puffster. Kirby is an awesome character even though he has a simple look. This figure embodies Kirby perfectly. I just wish there were more games with amiibo functionallity to use this Lil guy with.

as a collected of amiibos, Kirby has always been easy to find, so I finally spent the cash to get one. Good quality as they all are.

I bought this for my nephews, they just got the wii U. They love using these characters special effects in the different games.

Got this as a birthday gift for a relative. She loves it, says it really enhances the Super Smash Brothers experience.
