I love this Luigi figure. Awesome detail for $13. Works on many games.

Luigi is my favorite character and this amiibo has tons of uses across Mario games and other amiibo-ready games. If you play a lot of Smash, this can hold your Luigi AI data. Train Luigi to become the monster no one wants to fight and watch him win by actually doing something, contrary to the jokes about him not having to move to win.

Son really loves all the amiibos. He loves the detail. Likes amiibos better than skylanders or Disney infinity. I bought Luigi & 2 more on sale. It was buy 3 for $30. I got them even cheaper with my gamers unlocked membership. I payed $24 plus tax. I love bestbuy. I highly recommend the gamers unlocked program.

When Nintendo announced these things, I thought, "good grief--jumping on the Skylanders bandwagon." But, oh man, they're so nice just to have as decorations even if you don't use them a whole lot in gaming. The figurines are consistently a great quality, sturdy, and nice looking.

I was hesitant to get any of this series, given they're mostly just new poses for the same figures from Smash Bros. However, I really like this version of Luigi a lot better than the original version. I'd say you should only get one or the other, not both.

If you're into the amiibo train, this is a great purchase. It's a far different pose than the SSB Luigi, and personally I think it looks better. A great route if you don't want to overwrite your Luigi Smash data to use an amiibo in Mario Party.

Tall and good looking! Luigi measures about as tall as the Super Mario Bowser. Taller than Mario and of coarse Toad as well. I have yet to obtain Peach or Rosalina, so I can't give you a comparison there. Great amigo to keep for a long time!

This Luigi amiibo is in much more of a "standard" pose than the Super Smash Bros. release, but is lacking the fine texture detail. The pose really shows a different personality than the Smash Luigi, and many seem to be finding it preferable over the odd planking stance of the latter. Both figures work with many of Nintendo's newer releases, so the decision of which to purchase really comes down to personal preferences.

the smash bros luigi was a joke imo...in his taunt pose with a clear base holdiing him up. this new luigi is much taller....this new super mario line of amiibo are all bigger than the smash bros series. very nice

Amiibo's are Nintendo's way of entering the interactive figurine game, and so far it has boomed quite well for them. It does what it needs to, give small bonuses in the games it works on for the Nintendo Wii U.

This amiibo has the same functionality as the Smash Bros Luigi Amiibo, but is a bit larger and doesn't have a silly pose (if you care about that kind of thing). There aren't really any other differences.

Great quality figure that works in multiple games to unlock bonus games and items.

Sure you could have gotten Luigi from the smash Bros amiibo line,but let's be honest...he looked like he was tripping over something. But finally here's the better Mario brother in a less awkward pose.

Since I have been a huge Mario fan since the 80's, i had to have Mario and you cannot have Mario without Luigi. I think the qualily is pretty good. I have 5 Amiibos and they all are pretty awesome.

This Luigi is a much better version of amiibo than the one from the Super Smash Bros line. Here he has a more natural pose and has the perfect expression you'd expect from the brother of Mario.

My son has been collecting Amiibos since they were released. Each one unlocks a unique aspect to certain games for the Wii U. They give longevity to those games, and make fun collectibles.

Fun for interaction in Mario Cart 8! Love the suit for the Miis.

It does what it's supposed to do, wihich is to give bonuses in some select Nintendo games and work as an opponent in Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS. Nintendo in their infinite wisdom also made it so Amiibos can't have more than one game save per figure so if you own Super Smash Bros. and Mario Party 10, you have to buy both versions according to Nintendo.
