The amiibo itself is great, but like other people have mentioned, the service with this was awful. I don’t plan on preordering anything else from Best Buy unless they have something exclusive.

Best Buy is going downhill in terms of preorders. Cant receive day one releases on time and items like this Skyward Sword Link Amiibo that is so minimalistic in stock, if there ever was such a thing to begin with considering it was an Amazon exclusive (which was also a big fiasco in its shipping mishandlement), that I just can’t trust this company anymore. Those who preorder at Best Buy, please think twice if this is your main option. Use this as a backup.

Pre-orders never worked, would state unable to place in cart. When it was finally release date the pre-order button was still showing but immediately said sold out.

Amiibos are a solid way to get Nintendo figurines. This figure looks great except the sword is very weak. It bends easily and is made of much lighter material.

Trying to order this has been a nightmare. I've been CONSTANTLY checking the order page to try to secure a pre-order since this was posted during the Nintendo Direct, and it more or less instantly sold out, but nearly constantly shown as a "pre-order" despite being unavailable - you could sometimes put it in your cart but you couldn't check out. When it came to release day, it wasn't at any of the stores in my area, and all the stores associate could tell me was that it "wasn't at this store or any other Bestbuy." And right now, it's showing as a "Sold Out" with a pre-order button on it...? This reprint has been ridiculous. I wish we could just pre-order several months in advance so Nintendo could more accurately gauge interest than whatever the SS reprint -- and the Zelda reprints in general -- experience has been. This would be a 5/5 review if people could actually get it... Allegedly the actual release date will be closer to 7/14/2023 so we'll see.

Yeah as everyone has said, Best Buy needs to do better with limited items like Amiibos. The preorder buttom doesnt work and when it does, you get an error when checking out. This review doesnt relfect thw amazing Link Amiibo but rather how crappy Best Buy is.

I’ve pre-ordered countless amiibo over the years from Best Buy with no issues, but now all the sudden I’m being told that this amiibo has been delayed on the week of release? I got my pre-order in very fast and early when they originally went up so i dont understand why there has randomly been a delay. Very frustrating

genuinely awful experience with best buy loved getting amiibo from here even considered getting y’all’s membership but after this fiasco nah im good

Ive been buying from best buy because they were the best at getting any amiibos. After this disappointing turn of event, i’m just bummed because i really wanted this amiibo to use on my zelda game and to collect.

Generally pre-ordering and receiving orders from Best Buy is a cinch, but this was a catastrophic disaster. As so many others here reported, the Pre-Order button hadn't been working since it appeared. I've had the page up on my computer and phone every day, constantly refreshing periodically throughout every day and hitting the Pre-Order button each time in an attempt to actually Pre-Order. As others have also stated, Best Buy had told us not to worry, that there will be plenty all over the area in their stores on the date of release listed as 7/7/23. 7/7/23, I get up and go to all of my Best Buys in a 50 mile radius. They all confirm not only do they have it, but no other stores that they can see when doing random U.S. searches carry it. Not only that, they also said that they doubt they were ever suppose to carry it in store or ever will because corporate has shutdown the amiibo/Funko Pop sections of the stores. If something is a pre-order, let us pre-order it. Best Buy was the exclusive retailer for this release, and we can't even get the amiibo!

How is it sold out, on launch day, everywhere? And how did the pre-order process never work? Bad service.

They should of let this be available everywhere... it seems bestbuy only sells 20 of these things each time it goes available... since pre order i been trying to get 1... and every time the tracker i follow goes live.. its sold out, not available in my area.... y'all should of had plenty copies of this instead of the handful you seem to only have..

After this pre order fiasco best buy pulled with these I will only buy from them when they have something no one else does. I will not make them my first choice any longer. BEST BUY pay attention to your customers this was horrible. How can you pre order on release day? The pre order button was glitching out from day one for most of us then on release day still says preorder just to be updated to sold out.

Easy order with Best Buy. Excellent amiibo. Bunch of whiny babies in here ruining the ratings because they dropped a few days late. Don’t fall apart if your toy dropped a few days late.

No chance, maybe the worst release handled ever — if you can, skip bestbuy. No chance at all to purchase, no help, not even in stock for a minute.

The pre order button kept showing up on the listing but wasn't working. I started the chat feature and finally got to a real person to ask what was up with it and they said it was a glitch but not to worry, there will be plenty available on release day. Guess what, it's release day and they were instantly sold out. Did they have any to begin with? Who knows...
