I've become a casual gamer over the years and this system is great for the platform only titles that I'm missing out on. This system is small enough to fit into my pocket and basically can do anything you can think of (Gameboy on roids). It's not expensive and it plays all the latest and greatest. The only con is that Nintendo decided NOT to include the power cable. Really Nintendo??? In case you're wondering its an extra $10 depending on where you buy.

Great for a kid looking to play games or be able to listen to music. Easy to use and fits nicely in your hand

Im loving this ds edition, i actually wasnt looking to get a nintendo system but i couldnt help it!!! The only ad thing is you have to buy the power supply separated, however, the price for the system was great!!!

I've been gaming since the late 80s and the 3DS has become my favorite gaming system. There are a TON of great games available, and this particular model is a great size and feel, and the customizable faceplates are really neat. This was a special promo price for Black Friday, so it looks like it's no longer available, but if you can still find this at the special price of $99 or even if it's a little more say around $150 or less, it's worth it.

I had only ever had a 2DS before getting this system, but had used my girlfriend's New 3DS XL a few times and watched her play it some as well. I didn't like how the picture seemed to be stretched out, it just wasn't as good as the picture on my 2DS so I never bought one. Then I saw this, it has a smaller screen and folds for ease of transporting and/or storing. If you can get your hands on one of these I would highly recommend it!

For $100 we now have the happiest kid on earth! This works great and does everything he wanted it to!

I got lucky and was able to snag one of these on Black Friday. I hadn't owned a 3DS before, but at this price I couldn't refuse. The only thing that worried me was the build quality - I was afraid they had made sacrifices in order to get it down to the list price, but nope. It's survived several trips so far, and feels sturdy. The 3D function works great with the head-tracking. Clean and modern design is pleasing to the eye as well.

As an owner of two XL systems, I wanted this one for the greater portability. Unlike the XL, it fits easily in a pocket. The reduced screen size can actually be a plus due to the low resolution of the 3DS

Got this as a gift for someone else so I really can't rate this. The price is what drew me to getting it, but it doesn't come with a charger or a game. So I'm not sure if it works when you first open it.

The new 3ds is extremely fast compared to the older systems and was a steal when this was $100

Yes i recommend this, I love my New 3ds, This is my first 3ds.

3ds is perfect size to carry in pocket and comes with 4 gig memory card but has no charger

This is a Christmas gift for my munchkin but I had the pleasure of setting it up, charging it and playing a game on it. The 3d affect is AMAZINGLY cool! The online feature is fun. I like that I can place parental controls on the device! I had a lot of fun "testing" it out with the games I purchased for her. It's now sitting charged and wrapped under our tree. IMPORTANT: Charger sold separately.

It has a ton of features that I will never use. I only get it to play Pokémon. I had missed so many of the other games, I thought this was a good deal/time to pick it back up again.

What a great compact, yet fast system to play all the Nintendo brand games.

Gave this to my brother as a gift last christmas and he loves it. He had an older Nintendo so when this was released it was a must have!

Affordable, great graphics, enjoyable games, a lot of fun to play.

I bought this for my 21 year old daughter who loves her original Nintendo DS and didn't want the new 3DS XL. But when she seen the ad for the Super Mario 3DS special edition she just had to have it, to me the graphics are outstanding the colors Sharp, response from the controls when playing the game are in sync. Another great console from Nintendo!
