i didnt find a very focused game here at all, but what i did find, pending you are an outerspace sci fi fan, is just a lot of exploration and freedom to just move around anywhere and do anything.

A lot of my friends love this game but I got bored very quick, however they came out with a new update that changes the game, I have yet to try it so depending on your taste it might turn out to be a great game.

The base game is does not have nearly enough content for the price. If you're looking for a barebones space 'Minecraft' with less features, you can pick this up....

Got this when it was on sale. The game is fun and you get to explore a ton, but it kind of lacks a story and can get pretty repetitive. Wouldn't pay 60 bucks for this, but it's worth the sale price at 25 bucks.

Once I figured out what I was actually supposed to do the game was enjoyable...for a few hours. So far the game is very repetitive. I hope that the coming patches and add ons make this game more exciting to play!

We had high hopes for this game that it might usher in a new size for open world. It definitely does that but it's useless when every place you go is essentially the same thing. Game gets boring very quickly.

Hype right or not, still an amazing game. This isn't an action game by any means, but if you like exploration in an great looking setting then this may be your game. Add to that the continued support of the developer and this game could stick around for a long while. It's not perfect, there are bugs, but the support mentioned comes regularly. And future support and new features are promised in an ongoing manner. Love exploring the galaxy from planet to space with no load screens. Impressive.

This game definitely didn't live up to the hype in my opinion. Gameplay is very repetitive, graphics are pretty bland and overall it's just not that exciting. Definitely wait til this one is in the sales bin.

I followed this game for a while before it came out. I loved every video I saw of it anf thought it looked amazing. Once it came out I was happy that it lived up to my expectations. Yes it's very repetitive but I love science fiction so for me this game is wonderful.

So, let me start with the fact that I bought into the hype and bought the game. I do however feel like this could have been a solid game had the developers been truthful about what the game was supposed to be instead of selling a different game than they were producing. This game is pretty calming though because you really just go from planet to planet (where they all look about the same) and mine materials. If you want something like that, this is that game, but if you though it was going to be radically different planets forever and epic space battles, I would look somewhere else.

This is definitely an exploration game more so than an action game with a definitive narrative. I have fun with it and think it could be fun with children at a certain age, but it will not be for everyone.

After two years. No man's sky has finally become the game they promised at launch. If you like games centered around exploration, survival and space it's worth a shot. It wasn't for me but I can still recognize that some will enjoy it.

I'm not a "gamer" per se but was excited to see the buzz around No Man's Sky. The only two slight frustrations I have with the game are 1) I get easily motion sick while playing. 2) There are really no gameplay instructions - you choose a game mode and begin.

No Man's Sky is a good game. The creators made an awesome universe with some breathtaking initial moments. After those intro moments are gone, it's just repetitive mineral collection and object finding. There's not as much variety and that's what hurts this game

The game is excellent at offering an inspiring form of exploration, though does get repetitive. However, the really interesting part of the game is the capability it opens up for future games. Additionally, online functionality with friends is a disappointment.

I can understand why some people would not care for this game. This game is for those people who don't mind exploring and inventory managing . Could of been a much better game especially with VR out now . I would do a lot of research before buying this game.

I had fun for a while with this game. Then I got to a point where there just wasn't any more to do for my collection standpoint. If they come out with more content I will probably give it another go.

I enjoy it but don't go in expecting a lot from this game. In the future when they start adding more content then yeah it could be a lot better but as of right now it's not fully what I was expecting.

Picked up on sale around the time of the 'next' update and enjoying my time with it. Getting off the first planet takes a few hours but once you take flight the game really opens up. Highly recommended if your into space exploration.

I've read a lot of negative comments on this game, but it really fits a niche I was looking for. If you're looking for non-stop action, this isn't your game. If you're looking to explore the universe and play in a gigantic sandbox, this fits the bill!
