No Man's Sky is interesting. It's interesting mainly because it doesn't provide everything the devs claimed it would. The variation in planets is big, but the life on them really are not. There's a lot of reused assets. I've only played about 8 hours of the game. I personally like it, but just have not had a whole lot of time to sit and play it. I feel it's worth a shot, but maybe not for a full priced game.

No Man's Sky is a totally new experience. All Hello Games' promises are in the final. It's a spectacular journey across the universe.

thoroughly enjoyed the graphics and mechanics of the game. just had no real guidance of what to do once you got to a different planet

This was one of the most highly anticipated games for me this year. I had been following all the news and previews since the game was first announced in 2013. I was sorely let down. I'm sure there are at least 1 or 2 people out there that enjoyed this game. I am not one of them. I found myself bored to tears in the first 30 minutes. While there's somewhat of a vague goal, there's no real direction in this game. Open world (or open universe in this case) usually sounds like potentially endless fun, but it very quickly became dull and monotonous here. I do not recommend this game. Even after a few patches, this game is nowhere near what was promised by the developers and definitely isn't worth the $60 price tag. Maybe $10 at most....

Very open ended game, future promise of updates to make it even better down the road. Would recommend at this price.

I ignored all the hype and just wanted a space exploration game with a little story. This game has no story and gameplay gets old and repetitive real quick. I played the whole Atlas path and then made it to the center of the universe. I was very disappointed I put so many hours into this game thinking it would some how get better.

This game is better than people say. Sure, it had a rough start. But it's a really nice game to just chill out to.

It's fun to just unplug and play this game. The soundtrack is really calming and it's cool just to roam around looking for stuff

After being extremely excited to see this game since i first saw it, i wasnt disappointed. I love the exploration in this game.

This game was met with a lot of criticism when it was first released for failing to meet lofty expectations. A year and a half later, they've released some great new updates that really make the game more fun, the story more engaging, and improved the overall playability of the game. I was excited to play the game because I wanted to feel like an explorer-astronaut winding my way through the Wild West of space... now that the new updates are here, I finally feel it. Yeehaw.

Great game to kill time and explore. Do not expect an action packed adventure. Feels like you are playing minecraft in a way.

At release game did not live up to description. The gameplay was just okay. It held my interest for several hours before boredom set in. I really think this game should have stayed in development longer to reach its potential. It took nearly a year after release to even come close to what was advertised.
