Do some research and watch gameplay videos, then you'll know what kind of game this is. Love the exploration and little guidance; the music is fantastic. If you want a game to stimulate you and help unwind, this game is for you.

Fairly disappointed in this game, a friend had me all hyped up about it.... Got it at what I thought was a good price. If I wouldve known how bad it was I would have left it alone... Dont get me wrong, it has potential... But I think they should've held off a few years before bringing it to market..feels very beta-ish.

After basically having to beta test this game for two weeks while the maker released patch after patch I was bored with it by the time they got the crashing problems fixed. It is entertaining initially but too repetitious to sustain a players interest and the reward for finishing the quest is downright disappointing. Meh!

This game is for people that love exploration or free play like minecraft. If that doesn't sound like you then I would pass

The game had a hiccup from fans but is ultimately what was promised. The exploration and feeling of being alone is poetic.

Pretty good all around. I feel it has a lot of room to grow as a solid game with updates. Does get very repetitive though.

There was a ton of hype around this game. I have put only about 20 hours in to playing this game. Beautiful and extremely expansive in scope. I find that the grinding to get from planet to planet loses its lustre very quickly for me. I wanted to give the game a 5, but it is so lonely an experience. I know it was marketed that that way, but grinding to supply elements for every aspect of gameplay and dealing with paltry storage sizes for said elements is too tedious for my gameplay likes.

I'm not sure why everyone seems to hate on this game so much - I really enjoyed it. I also didn't pick it up reading all the hype that Hello Games supposedly didn't deliver on, I just got it because it looked cool. It's definitely a game you just curl up and kill time with, but it's got a lot of cool features and things to it. Now that they've got the home base update that's an extra fun element to it. It's not exactly high-brow or intense by any means but I like it just the same.

This game is dull and repetitive and it is not something I would recommend or buy again if given the chance. Of it is something you are interested in watch some game play on YouTube before you buy.

Over all its a fun game, I just think they could have done better with the flight and combat. If your looking for a game to visit strange planet's with only animal life and robots, or to just fly around the vastness of space then it's the game for you. I just believe they could have done so much more with this idea.

This game does not make a good first impression. Unlike most games these days, it doesn't teach you what you need to know, so your first few sessions are likely to be frustrating. BUT, if you keep at it, it gets more and more interesting, and less frustrating. Also, I don't know how it is at higher levels, but when you start out, it is WAY more of a survival game than an exploration game.

While the game has its flaws (still crashes on PS4), the game has a unique look and feel and hopefully will get better with time and more developing. As it stands now, half the promises were delivered and Hello Games is silent and vague. But if you want to explore a never ending universe this game might be for you.

I’ve only gone to two planets thus far, but I’m already amazed by the sheer size and scope of this literal universe. It’s a game I can easily imagine spending months exploring without ever getting old. **A fair warning, the first planet is always a hostile one that puts you far away from your ship and forces you to start gathering supplies with little instruction.

Its not bad, but it was way overhyped and kinda underwhelming, after a few hours your gonna kno if u like the game or not. Overall if they add more content or somekind of massive update that would deliver on what they said from the get go i would play agian, but as of now i stopped playing after 10 hours of play.

the first 2 to 3 hours of the game are amazing, fixing your ship getting into space its great then for me I hit a wall the game came apart, the boring game play the updates that are need for this game to work, the way it was told it would. MAYBE after MASSIVE update this game will be what it was promised to be.

Not what I was expecting it to be all right game just don't believe the hype

The scope and sheer size of the world in this game or hard to believe. The graphics are beautiful and it has been a ton of fun to play so far.

I’m not much of a gamer, but I really enjoy this game. It’s pretty laid back but lots of fun to explore.
