Just like Sphere of Influence and Ascension the strategy focuses on development, diplomacy and warfare as core elements, with economic as well as political connections at its center. Overall it feels less refined than the predecessors, though

It's an enjoyable entry into the series that streamlines a lot of the previous systems. May be off-putting to some more use to older games, but does provide solid enjoyment for what its worth.

Another iteration in this long running historical strategy simulation game. A lot of options for conflict and politics. History buffs will love it.
