I bought this case cause i thought it was of high quality, but i was very much mistaken. The case looks nice but it is of poor quality. There must be about 1mm of "leather" covering a cheap $1 worth plastic case. The pleather tore easily with the slightest scratch from my fingernail exposing the cheap plastic case. I will be returning this case immediately after writing this review and if you're wondering, I only had it for a few days.

The packaging says it’s for iPhone 7, but it also fits my iPhone 8 perfectly. It’s a well-made case with a snug fit that wraps around the phone nicely. The edges around the screen is slightly elevated & gives you a bit of a barrier to prevent the screen from coming in contact with the ground first if the phone gets dropped. The leather looks (& smells) high-quality, but it’s noticeably thin & has no padded feel to it. It gives the case a slim profile, but doesn’t offer much additional impact protection beyond the plastic shell that mainly makes up the case. It also looks rather plain since the leather has no texture or embossing of any kind, but that’s more of a personal taste. I expect it to age nicely over a few months of use. In the end, it’s basically a plastic case wrapped in leather, so even though it’s well-made, try to buy it on sale instead of paying full price.

I wanted a minimal classy case and this is just that. It has a little bit of a lip on the front to help protect it from face down falls which I appreciate. Buttons are easy to use which is something that I look for. The only thing I don't like is how easily the leather gets scratched, it shows dents and dings easily but it is leather and the marks add character.

Bought this for my new iPhone. Really nice, slides in and out of pocket well. Since it is leather it does scratch and stain but that gives it a really nice look.

This case looks great and according to the packaging, it only gets better as time goes by. The leather will naturally get darker with time. The case fit my iPhone 7 just fine, but it was a little tough getting it off. It was tight around the phone and took a few minutes struggling with it to finally get it off.

I've owned this case since the day after iPhnoe 7 launch day. It's weathering very well, and though I've found myself uncharacteristcly clumsy with my new phone, the Nomad case has offered great protection. The drops scuffed a couple of the cases corners, but after a couple of days of use those scuffs have blended into the rest of the case quite well. The leather is starting to darken around the edges, and in the middle of the back. I've had a number of people comment on how much they like the case, too!

I purchased an Iphone 7 and instantly knew I wanted a case, but just any case. I have had Otterboxes and other types of cases in the past and knew right away with this phone that I wanted a more mature, premium look. This case fits the bill greatly. The case fits great, cut outs are all there. Inside is lined with a soft texture. Very happy! Can't wait until it ages.

Looks nice. Good grip, not slippery at all. Not thick or bulky, just the right size. Great quality.

Only dropped the phone once so far and everything has held up. Been about a month and the case has shifted in colors. Looks great. Fit is tight but doesn't interfere with any of the buttons, speakers or cable ports.

Disclaimer: I love Nomad products. Their charging keys, battery packs, and leather products are all well designed and priced fairly. This case in particular is better than the official Apple leather case because it covers all edges, while the Apple version leaves the bottom revealed. I've seen some mention how easy it is to scratch the leather, but be advised this is a product feature. The leather ages well and the scratches heal to enhance the overall look. The Blue version doesn't age as well as the natural leather color, but it looks great on my flat black iPhone 7. The case is dark enough to be mistaken for black or charcoal at times. It looks fantastic and it feels solid. Great product.

I have had plenty of leather cases on phones that I have owned and I have to say that the Nomad leather case is by far the most impressive and best looking. I purchased the saddle brown color and after a couple of months of use it has developed a rich dark patina that looks incredible. I have tried using Apple's leather case but the difference in leather quality is noticeable and I do not like that the bottom part of the phone is not protected as it is on this Nomad case. The interior of the case is a soft suede material that will protect your phones back casing from developing micro scratches. The cutouts are precise and the buttons are responsive. I cannot recommend this case enough.

I like the feel of a leather case. The description on the box sounded interesting. My iPhone 7 has been surrounded by this case for a few weeks and I really like it. I like the feel the build quality and I like that since it is real leather it shows wear and that just makes it look better. They have built the case in such a way it does a good job of keeping the screen away from making contact with surfaces.If you have one, thy this. Use your finger nail and scratch the cover, the we your finger and rub over he scratch and it will disappear. That is good leather. Enjoy.

Case is awesome I love how the patina forms. mine only took a few days to start to show and after a couple months it's really showing now. The case is really nice and sticky so it's harder to drop, I would suggest not getting any portion of it wet until your oil from your skin saturates the leather over a period of time, which makes it more water resistant. The only downside is the case fits so tight portions of the case can be broken if you would like to clean your phone. around the mute switch is broken inside of the leather, but doesn't show while on the phone it seems sturdy. otherwise I would've given it 5 stars if it wasn't for that.

bought this case on sale for my son. it works well for iPhone 7 and it looks nice if you like leather. I have one for my phone and it looks nice and holds up well

Improved grip with a nice leather camel color that gets darker with time. Only thing that could be improved is its allowance to dissipate heat from the phone easier.

This is a very good leather case alternative to the apple leather case. I like the fact that this case covers the entire bottom of the phone, unlike the apple case.

stylish, i like the color; fell out of pocket once and hit asphalt, some visible nicks to case but phone was fine; it's not thick/rugged, but sleek

This is real leather case that I use daily. Protects my iPhone and looks great. The leather looks better over time. I was afraid about how it would look if it got scratched, but it wears quite well and looks great. I've had people ask me where I got the case and wether it is real leather or not. Does not have a screen protector, but it has save my phone on a couple occasions when I dropped it.

skip the Apple branded leather and get this guy. it's saves you a few dollars. after some normal use the leather has a very nice patina to it as well.

After breaking two screens in two years, I finally broke down and got a case. I hate cases because I carry my phone in my pocket and anything that makes it bulkier is bad. This is lightweight, thin, attractive, and helps me keep a better grip than on a naked iPhone. It's also 20% cheaper than Apple's leather case, but is functionally identical.
