The mixing speed is pretty slow and it's actually best to blend everything before putting it in this machine. Also a bit too big for the standard cupboard's storage capacity.

I liked my first choice but when having large family gatherings it just didn't make enough ice cream for everyone and so I decided to get this one as well. This one will make up to 1 gallon which is perfect for family functions. The only downside in comparison to my cuisinart is that it's not as convenient since you need to purchase salt and ice ahead of time where as my other one I can make ice cream on the spot.
