    We have not stopped making ice cream since we bought this. I am not thrilled with the recipes k but food network has some great custard ice cream recipes. Has worked like a charm. make sure to break the ice up well before using the smaller the pieces the better. Other wise the canister can get stuck. love the fact the motor stops when it is done. the only thing that would make this perfect is an add window., but we chill a stainless steal bowl to add the add ins. for the cost it has paid for itself.

    We have used this several times already and it makes THE BEST ice cream. I like the fact you can make 4 quarts at once. It was well worth the purchase price.

    I purchased this product after purchasing the cuisinart ice cream maker. I liked my first choice but when having large family gatherings it just didn't make enough ice cream for everyone and so I decided to get this one as well. This one will make up to 1 gallon which is perfect for family functions. The only downside in comparison to my cuisinart is that it's not as convenient since you need to purchase salt and ice ahead of time where as my other one I can make ice cream on the spot.
