Heats up fast. Smaller that what appears on box. Good for about two cups of popcorn fully popped. Easy to clean

I just picked this up today, purchased it on a "Deal of the Day" promotion. I figure for $5, how can I go wrong? It comes in a rather small, flat box which had me wondering at the store, how much can this pop? We opened it at the Best Buy store and it's not a huge bowl, but adequate. Upon getting it home and using it for the first time after, yes, reading the instructions. The instructions indicate that the bowl is a "twist and lock/unlock" type of bowl onto the heating plate. There is no way this is a "Twist and Lock". It's a snap on and off type. This can be a concern in an effort to not burn the popcorn or your hand removing it from the hot heating plate, which does heat up in a hurry! I was able to get the bowl removed relatively easy, but it's a tight snap. Part of the process is continuously shaking it so the kernels don't burn. The entire batch pops very quickly. For $5, it was worth it. Not sure for any more than that.

It gets hot fast so you have watch the popcorn or it will burn! Other than that it gets the job done! I like the vented area on top because I add my butter and seasoning while it pops!

Helps to make tasty, quick, popped popcorn in a very less time. Easy to clean too. Loved it so far!

THIS POPPER IS SMALLER THAN I FIRST BELIEVED BUT IS THE PERFECT SIZE FOR ME. THE LID/BOWL LOCKS ON AND THAT'S A PLUS. I HAD AS SIMILAR ONE BEFORE AND THE TOP WOULD SLIP OFF BUT NOT THIS ONE. I'M ONLY GIVING IT A FOUR STAR RATING BECAUSE IT IS HARD TO LOCK AT TIMES. OTHERWISE; THIS GREAT FOR TWO OR ONE PERSON POPCORN MAKING WITHOUT WASTE.

I purchased the popper based on the picture of a nice electric popper with a handle. The actual popper is just a round electric plate, with no handle for shaking and nothing special.

The popcorn popper does what it's supposed to do. It pops popcorn.

Standing in line in seen this and it reminded me of back in the day . Way yes it's reallly.easy too use and makes popcorn in about 1 min and it's 100% natural. Not microwave popcorn . Love it .

I've purchase this item but not for pop corn as it's designed for and using it as a foor warmer . The non-stic surface heats up pretty fast and very hot so i must manually turn it off to keep my food from burning but keep the cover on all the time . In fact ,i believe this could be used as pan fry for steak and other cooking purposes as well . For the bargain price ,it's a steal .

Makes the best popcorn ever. Doesn't make a mess. Don't have to worry about the kids burning themselves.

this popcorn popper works great. Although it doesn't make a huge amount all at once, it is enough for a small bag for each of my two daughters, my wife, and myself. It totally beats unhealthy microwave popcorn. The popper heats up and cooks quickly and does not burn the popcorn. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase.

This is a neat item. I'm really glad I purchased it. It pops a larger amount of popcorn that you'd think from just looking at it.

Popper works fine. To avoid burnt kernels, shake vigorously. Great value for price paid.
