I accidentally ordered this one and returned it. Wanted the hot oil popper. The people in the store was great and helpful, very nice. The online customer service how ever was no help, a little rude and absolutely no help at all as is it was just an email from a robot rather than a real person giving no actual help at all.

This is a horrible piece of product. When I turned it on, the machine smelled like smoke as if it was going to burn. Than when we tried to make popcorn, it kept spitting out kernals all over the floor, and spit more than it actually made. And on top of that the popcorn tasted stale when it was made. I can not reccomend this to anyone.

We bought this popcorn maker to replace an identical one we had for 10 years. We were so sad when our previous one broke but so happy to find an identical one. The kids love it and I like that I can control the butter and salt.

I bought this to go into a retro 50‘s-60’s themed garage to sit on the concessions counter. There were some reviews on here and on other websites that stated that the popcorn would shoot out of the machine unpopped. The key is to purchase higher quality popcorn, such as a name brand in a jar and not a generic in a bag. Also if the corn is over about 6 months old then the moisture in the kernel is about gone and will not pop correctly. Most homes in America have a bag of popcorn kernels in their pantry that they can’t remember when they bought it… don’t use them. On first use I let the machine warm up, measured out the right amount of kernels and then dropped them in. Popcorn was ready in about a minute and I only had about 5% of the kernels come out of the machine unpopped which would be about average for any popcorn maker. Another helpful tip is to find a rectangular container that is taller than a bowl that will fit between the wheels and slide in close the machine. Look at various size plastic storage containers and you will find one that is perfect. Then if you don’t eat it all you can snap on the lid and store it as well. If you try to use a bowl there is too big of a gap because the wheels will not let the bowl get close enough to the machine and the popcorn will go on the counter. This machine looks nice if this is your theme and makes enough popcorn for 1-2 people. If you have a crowd then it is like anything else, you probably need to buy a bigger machine. If you consider buying a kettle-type popper for more people, as a reference I have a 2.5 ounce kettle machine and this one makes about the same amount of popcorn. We fire it up when we want movie-theater taste, but for quick popcorn this one is the choice!

This was the "family gift" for Christmas along with some movies. It was a HIT! It's easy enough for my 2 oldest kids to use with no assistance. There are only 2 drawbacks to the usage of this popcorn popper. One is that sometimes not all of the popcorn comes out and it gets burned. Two is that you have to wait 15 minutes between uses. When you have 6 people in a family, 1 cycle is not quite enough popcorn for all of us. All in all, I am quite pleased with my purchase and I have actually recommended it to several of my friends.

I love this popcorn machine. It works perfectly and quickly to make tasty popcorn. The only thing about air popped corn is the salt/seasonings do not adhere to the corn. My solution is to lightly spray Pam or similar product on the corn and gently toss. Then add the flavors. Works great.

I wanted something to make popcorn for the family when we watch movies in our home theatre. Considering the price and the clean-up it is just what I wanted.

Paid under $40 and feel it was worth it. The kids love to make the popcorn and the item is attractive enough to keep out on the counter. Only time will tell how long it will last since it is made of mostly plastic.

I started it expecting some disapointment (you get what you pay for, i payed 30 bucks) next thing i know, theres popcorn kernals flying all over the kitchen. WTF.... Sure was exciting and me and the wife laughed our a@@ off. cleaned it up and put in on a shelf. its a decoration, thats it. hope this helps
