I was disappointed when I bought this for my husband when the air popper wouldn't pop the kernels it took so long. Not worth he hassle, didn't return only paid 10.99 for it with coupon and sale.

This popcorn popper, when used exactly as directed, shoots out about 10 scalding hot unpopped kernels to each popped kernel of corn. The popcorn (and unpopped corn) comes out of the machine at extremely high speed, shooting the scalding hot kernels all around the room (they land in the bowl and then shoot out). Some of the hot kernels pop IN THE BOWL, thereby shooting popcorn out all over. This is a nightmare to clean up and you end up with a bowl of mostly hot kernels and very little popcorn. You can find a better popper. Probably a popper with a longer neck would work better because the unpopped kernels may not make it to the bowl so easily. Definitely don't buy this. I am going to return it immediately.

Get the job done is 3 mins but keeps some kernels unpoped.

Purchased this so we could have a little healthier popcorn. Problem is, for family movie night this thing doesn't let you pop enough popcorn. Directions say you have to wait 15 min. in between poppings due to unit might get to hot. Sorry, if it gets that hot to where I have to wait that long for it to cool down then I will be returning it. The amount the measuring cup allows you to pop gives you about 2 cups of popcorn each time.

The popper construction is poor. It does not reach the heat level necessary to produce a good quality popcorn. 80% of the kernels pop during each session, however, the kernels that pop are stale (a waxy texture). I had great hope for this product for the price. I understand that for the price, the product wouldn't necessarily produce the highest quality popcorn but this isn't close to be considered low good.

Totally not what I expected, Lucidly I only wasted $5 because it was on sale. Dosent make good popcorn, we tried several different brands thinking we had just purchased the wrong brand.. If you want a popcorn machine spend the extra money and get one that will do it the right way.

Immediately out of the box this air popper didn't work. It did heat up and it did pop a few kernels, but I'd say about 5% of the ones I put it. It was very obvious why it wasn't popping. Air poppers work by providing even heat. To have even heat the corn needs to be stirred or be rotating. Usually air poppers have a fan that pushes the corn around or have a rotating piece in the middle that stirs. This has a fan, but it's so low powered that none of the corn moves. It just sat there, perfectly still, until the kernels on the very bottom popped. That was all that ever happened. I returned it the next day and bought the WestBend Stir Crazy corn popper, which was more expensive but works great. My recommendation is to stay away from Nostalgia Electrics. This product is a dud.

Terrible popper. It only pops about half the kenrals... the rest it sends flying out into the bowl unpopped... yet hot enough for some to expload in the bowl, showering your kitchen with popcorn and blazing hot kernels. Woo fun......

The design is not very well made. Bowls do not fit under it. While it is popping, kernels are flying everywhere - popped and un-popped. I would not recommend this product. I took my back within 2 months.
