Customers admire the Nutri Ninja Nutri Bowl DUO Auto-iQ Boost Blender's ease of use, powerful blending capabilities, and impressive performance in crushing ice and making smoothies. Many appreciate its Auto IQ settings and the convenience of dishwasher-safe parts. However, some users find the blender quite loud during operation. The compact size is also a frequently cited positive aspect.

The Nutri Ninja Bowl Duo is a powerful food processing machine. The Ninja Bowl minced my ginger root extremely fast, in a matter of seconds. The boost feature was not necessary, because of the power within the normal fusion chop feature. I also used the fusion chop feature to prep my bell peppers, celery and onions. All produce was chopped into a uniform mixture that allowed even and thorough cooking.
Every juicer that I used in the past has always had two depositories. My old juicers have one container for the actual juice to drink and the other container for the pulp that was to be discarded during cleanup. Within The Nutri Ninja Bowl Duo Cup everything is liquidized to the consistency of your choice. You get the benefits of the whole fruit or vegetable that you wish to drink. There is no leftover pulp to be discarded. It allows you to make juice, smoothies, frozen drinks, extract, puree and crush ice. And with the IQ boost feature, you can control the thinness or thickness of your drink. You can even use the pulse button manually to determine your desired consistency.

Blends well, but so very loud

This Ninja blender works quite well, but is so loud (as most blenders are) I can't be in the room while it is on. The cups are absolutely fantastic! It makes it easy to make a smoothie or milkshake to take on the go. The Ninja makes quick work of ice and frozen fruit, blending the ingredients smooth and evenly. The one touch button for smoothies is great and does the job usually in one pass. The bowl for food processing is quite small, but works well for chopping up graham crackers to make pie crust.
Overall it does what it says and the blades are SUPER sharp! My only complaint is the motor's noise level, it is just so very loud. It makes wonderful smoothies and milkshakes!

I received this as a gift and was surprised by the 1200 watts of power. My smoothies now take half the amount of time and the convenience of setting the program and walking away is great. I only have to make my smoothies, once a day because I use two of the 32 oz cups. With the Duo, I press the button and walk away and clean-up is a breeze for when I make smoothies because I just remove the blade and screw on the lid attachment and go. The pulse program really makes the difference, because first the blades run, then pauses, which allows food to fall back down, then runs, pauses and repeats. This makes it so you don't have to manually push food down into the blades. An advantage I liked about the Duo is the lifetime warranty. They will pay for shipping both ways for as long as I own the blender. To me, having no experience w/Ninja products and not knowing how long they last, made me feel more comfortable. The Duo is amazing, I wouldn't hesitate purchasing it if you plan to use it for making smoothies and other things that you need a blender for.

This is really something else. I dont have tons of experience with blenders necessarily, having only ever had cheaper varieties, but this thing is kind of amazing. The included cups that can be used to drink out of as well as blend into are pretty cool. Makes cleanup very easy when finished, no additional dishes. I haven't really determined what I'll use the bowl for yet, though I've read all sorts of recipes about making cookiedough and stuff in a blender, so I'll have to give that a shot.
It's super powerful, nothing is left in chunks or anything. The iQ features really lend themselves to doing exactly what you would expect them to. Really a one-and-done kind of thing. Made some amazing mango smoothies in this and looking forward to doing it again.
If you're in the market for a blender that's more than your average budget brand, I wouldn't hesitate to grab this one.

Incredible Smoothies and More

I was very impressed with how well made the Ninja is. I like the suction cups on the bottom of the device that keeps it from moving on the counter. All the parts are extremely well made and seem very durable. The accessories are dishwasher safe although it's suggested you only place them within the top of your dishwasher. The consistency of the smoothies turn out just like those at your local smoothie bar. I can't believe how many functions are provided and the versatility of this device is incredible; this is not just about making smoothies and other drinks, it is also incredibly useful for making all kinds of foods. We are especially looking forward to trying the Salmon Burgers soon along with the many other recipes that came in the cook book provided with the Ninja. It was also very cool to see that the Ninja can be expanded with many accessories.

A Good Replacement for an older Ninja

This blender exceeded my expectations. The auto IQ features are very easy to use, and it comes with all the features needed for blending and light food processing. It has no problem with frozen fruits or ice at all. It cleans up very easy just like the older Ninjas, with a lot of the parts can go straight into the dishwasher if desired. It uses different sized attachments than my old Ninja, so can't reuse any of the cups on the new machine itself. There are a number of wonderful accessories available. I recommend the Coffee and Spice Grinder stainless steel one, its great for grinding coffee, spices, heck even making your own peanut/almond/cashew butter.

I have got this unit as a replacement of my Oster Blender, and It is a really powerful blender, and because there are few small grooves to get into, it makes easy to clean, the blades are easy to remove, and a lot of cool options. I have made all kind of smothies, bananas, strawberries, almond butter, Ice cubes doesnt bother it at all. The style and compact design makes it look really nice in my kitchen. It is kind of loud, but you will get use to it, that sound make me feel the power of the blender, and it is really consistent on the performance. So far it beat any other blender I have had.

Great big power in a small multitasking machine

This is a powerful, heavy duty blender. I haven't had any of the $300+ power blenders so I can't compare this to those but it makes better smoothies and shakes than any of my previous machines. . Not all blenders can crush ice well, or blend frozen fruit into a good, dense slush but this one does. Once upon a time I fell for the juicing fad and got a juicer, but I realized that it doesn't make sense to not use at least half of each food I put through it unless I saved the remains to use in something else - that was a pain. This blender can do whatever you want for smoothies and juices without wasting some of the best, most nutritious parts of food. I also frequently make salsa, sofrito, and mirepoix and this is ideal for that. I don't always feel like hauling out my big Kitchenaid food processor. This is what I like best about this Ninja - that it can do more than one thing with a relatively small footprint. It isn't compact by any means, but it is smaller than having multiple machines, and even smaller than my old (and less powerful) Oster blender.
Sometimes you might feel you have to hold onto your blender so it doesn't jump off the counter, but this has rubber suction feet. That accounts for probably 10 percent of my appreciation for this thing! The first time I put it down, it stuck fast before I knew what was happening. There are buttons for dough (and a blade for mixing without cutting), chop, mix, and pulse along with the smoothie and extract buttons. You'll have to experiment to see which modes you prefer. Except for the smoothie function, not all presets generally do what I want but I do like the mix and pulse modes a lot. I expected this to be louder than it is - that is a pleasant surprise.
I don't use my dishwasher to clean the plastic parts of my kitchen appliances so I can't speak to the cleaning aspect of the Ninja except to say, be very careful because the blades are sharp.
If you're looking for a way to sneak vegetables into spaghetti sauce, muffins, or quick breads, this can pulverize anything well enough to get away with it. If you want to make your own nut butters, this can do it. My biggest test is making garbanzo bean flour for panelle. I haven't tried that yet but next time I hit the market I'll get some dried beans, a pair of earplugs, and go to town.

The plastic in the large cups wear down over time, so the sensor turns the blender off as a safety feature. Other than this, it is great.

First off I love the style and look of this blender, Looks nice on the counter. And feels like it is built very well. Suction cups on the base help keep it in place when in use.
Frozen fruit, ice, nuts have no worries this unit has plenty of power to handle it all.
I was very impressed with how fast this blender turned ice in to shaved ice. Comes with lids for the Ninja cups. It's very convenient to mix in the same cup you can take with you.
I would recommend this to family and friends.
