Customers admire the Nutri Ninja Nutri Bowl DUO Auto-iQ Boost Blender's ease of use, powerful blending capabilities, and impressive performance in crushing ice and making smoothies. Many appreciate its Auto IQ settings and the convenience of dishwasher-safe parts. However, some users find the blender quite loud during operation. The compact size is also a frequently cited positive aspect.

This Nutri Ninja is a MUST have is you are in the market for a reliable and powerful machine to make smoothies or process food. The smoothie containers are so convenient and they each come with lids. 3 in all. Auto iQ is an awesome feature too. Punch in what you want, turn on iQ and it takes the guess work out of blending ingredients. Everything is top rack dishwasher safe which is a bonus. All in all I am very please with this blender and I have been using it a ton.

The Nutri Ninja Duo- The ninja comes with the base, pro extractor blade, 3 spout lids, 2- 24 oz cups, 1- 32 oz cup, a bowl, quad blade and dough blade, instruction manual and a recipe book. The lids and containers are BPA free. The blades, containers, and lids are dishwasher safe. The base has a suction bottom to keep the base from moving around while it's running. There a lot of different programs and options to use depending on what you're trying to make. The Nutri Ninja Duo will make smoothies, blended coffee drinks, dips and sauces, salsas and even dough. My kids and I love this ninja to blend up all kinds of smoothies, shakes and coffee drinks. It's easy to fill the cup with your ingredients, screw on the top/blade and lock it into the base. I've had a little bit of difficulty getting the right option selected. While I'm trying to change what I want it sometimes starts blending when I don't want it to yet. Once it's turned on, it's extremely loud! I don't care for the noise, but I'm guessing any blender is loud and a strong motor means a lot of noise. It cuts through and blends the ice with no problem at all, unlike previous blenders I've owned. The drinks are nice and smooth. I have not tried the dough function yet since I own a nice artisan mixer that has a larger capacity. But it will be nice too chop up my pico de gallo in the ninja instead of by hand. Everything washes up easily. Since there are quite a few components to this system you will need to clear some space in your pantry or cabinets. I'm very glad to have this new Nutri Ninja Duo. I highly recommend it to anyone to loves to make anything that needs blending or chopping.

This unbiased review was provided in exchange for receiving the product to test out. In our case, we actually received two boxes of product -- one for the bowl, and the other with a main attachment of an 88oz blender container. Presumably this is what Ninja means by duo, which ends up giving you more than six separate attachments and two different bases for mixing. We believe this product is well worth the price tag associated. In making both food and smoothies with both bases, the Ninja makes short order of pretty much anything you throw at it. Pre-programmed buttons allow for excellent timing of blending ingredients with plenty of ability to customize -- either making mixing processes longer or shorter, depending on the consistency you prefer. Two challenges with this device: 1. With all of the attachments available, you'll be hard-pressed to find space on our countertop for everything to sit! At least both bases have exceptionally good suction cups that fasten each securely to any solid surface. 2. Don't let size fool you. They may say that the bowl serves four people, but that's also understanding the equivalent of what an 8oz glass of drink really means. For most recipes, you'll likely have to up the serving sizes, because these recommendations wouldn't be enough for most. This was our first blender set. Compared to much cheaper ones we've used over the years, this is the set we wished someone would have given us as a wedding showing gift!

As a single guy for whom cooking is a challenge and, in my experience at least, eating out regularly is not the best way to maintain a healthy diet/look ofter one's health, a better way to make a meal is always welcomed. So juicing/smoothies/etc. have been on my radar a long while as a healthy way to stay in shape. When I travel I tend to look for juice bars, smoothie shops etc. and sample their offerings, keeping an eye on sugars, fats, etc. So what better way, while I am home, to duplicate that than by making my own, right? Well, take it from one who would never survive without a microwave, the Ninja Nutri is what I've been looking. Simple is good! Smoothies. Juices. Frozen drinks. It's all here. The blender has the modes to turn out these and more [this is all I've tried so far]. The included recipe book will keep me busy for awhile. Plenty of containers come in the package for prep, storage, taking with you. I can point out only 1 thing I would change about the package. The cups are not insulated; keeping cold drinks cold longer in an insulated cup would be a great benefit [think about the cups with the name that begins with "T"]. If I could give a GH seal of approval I would. The Ninja folks did a great job.

I truly didn't know what I was missing until I started using the Ninja Duo System. Smoothies & Protein shakes to even making fantastic chopped salads, some ideas of which are in the included Nutra Ninja Recipie book. For a smoothie just fill the included cup with your favorite healthy items such as some banana, strawberries, Greek yogurt, milk and ice, just place the blade assembly on the cup, screw it in tightly and place on the motor base. (A cool thing about the motor base is it has suction cups on the bottom to keep it from moving) Once on the base just choose the smoothie button and in less than a minute your ingredients are perfectly mixed and you have a great tasting and healthy smoothie. Unscrew the blade assembly and screw on the included spout lid which makes for easy drinking. With all of the things I can do with the Nutra Ninja my family and I are on the right track to healthier eating.

    Really Powerful and Imaginative Blender

The only blender I’ve used before this unit was a 20 year old GE blender which probably cost 25 dollars. It was like driving a Yugo compared to this Nutri Ninja which is like driving a Tesla. This thing is solid, and unlike my old blender which I had to hold down on the counter with one hand while it was running to keep it from sliding around, the Ninja has rubber suction cups which will keep it right where you place it until you deliberately want to move it. It comes with a beautiful color recipe book with 78 imaginative and healthy recipes. The recipes are so inviting, if you care about your health at all, you’ll want to give some of them a try. Before, my breakfast consisted of dropping some corn flakes in a bowl. This morning I woke up to a strawberry banana protein shake from the recipe book. It only took a few minutes with ingredients easy to find at the grocery store. It tasted great and I feel like I’m doing more to stay healthy. Just be warned, The Ninja IS loud, as others have said, especially when crushing ice which it does with amazing ease by the way.

I have a Ninja from years back-- I thought it already was the greatest value I had ever-- beating a leading "gold standard" of a competitor. Then I met this Ninja Nutri Bowl Duo with Auto IQ. It comes with a handy pamphlet of suggested things to blend. It made me more excited to start becoming healthy-- because it made things so easy! 1) Choose what type of concoction you want to get 2) Get your ingredients 3) Follow instructions on the manual 4) PRESS THE BUTTON YOU WANT -- it is the IQ that makes everything convenient. For smoothies for example, with my old blender, I used to check the consistency and texture before I pour everything out. With the Auto IQ smoothie, it runs it for me-- it slows and moves within the time it is supposed to run to give it that just right combo of speed and settling to create the perfect smoothie. Seriously, just press the button and watch it do it for you. I'm so happy with it. I ended up buying a lot of ingredients for the new year--- it makes it easy to be healthy-- plus all the other things I can do with it!

This machine is great. It's a little larger than I imagined but no issue and its not ugly, I thought it would be smaller but it's about the size of a regular blender. This thing is a beast when it comes to making smoothies. It really does blend everything down. The bowl works great too. We made a few snacks and the salmon patty recipe today. It really does a good job at chopping and infusing. Overall this is a great buy. If you're used to $50 blenders and food processors try this. You'd be surprised at how much of a difference a change in diet can make to the way you feel and your overall health.

The Nutri Ninja Bowl Duo is an awesome product. Although it implies there are two different products in the box (which is large) there is only one base with multiple cups for smoothies and a large "bowl" mixer. The Auto IQ function works quite well at producing smoothies and insures everything is well blended. We have used the bowl to make mixed salads, cole slaw, and chopped veggies for use in egg rolls. It does a good job cutting and mixing things up, Coming out of the box, which is large, things look rather confusing. But once everything is out and can be observed it makes sense. The base is rather large and is quite loud in it's higher speeds or Auto IQ, but it does a great job. Turned solid ice to snow for frozen drinks. I believe this is a very useful kitchen appliance and most everyone would be very happy with it. Good Shopping!

The Ninja Nutri Bowl Duo is a well-made, thought out blender. The 1200W motor easily exceeds my Breville blender even if it may not necessarily directly outperform it. It can destroy ice and create great fruit smoothies or cocktails (if you should so choose). The multiple size bowls make whipping out single serve to family size drinks easy and even easier to clean. While I haven't tried the food processing aspects beyond smoothie/cocktail creation, the machine has ample power and a large enough mixing bowl to make moderate size creations. The blender comes with a cookbook with 75 recipes to get your creative thoughts going. It's dual purpose potentially replaces both my Breville blender and food-processor and Ninja does it for a lot less money.

I was very excited to try the Nutri Ninja Bowl Duo system. The components were packaged very nicely with plenty of cardboard boxes, partitions and warnings of sharp blades in the packaging. Also Included: A user friendly Quick Assembly Guide, A well Written and Illustrated Instruction Guide Book and A Colorful easy to understand Recipe Booklet that has 75 recipes. The first Item I used (after reading all the safety Instructions) was the 24 oz Nutri Ninja Cup. I made my favorite smoothie using: Kale, Frozen Kiwi and Apple Juice. I put them into the Cup following the loading Tips reference in the recipe book. The Cup has measurement markings and a Maximum Liquid line so that the glass is not overfilled. The cup has a blade assembly that screws onto the cup and than locks onto the top of the motor base. On the front of the unit is the control panel with multiple easy to read buttons. I selected the Smoothie Button and left the Auto IQ Boost setting on. Wow was that fun! The unit automatically stopped after a minute of doing a series of burst pulse mixes and a final longer mix. My drink was Perfectly Blended and a proper serving size. I replaced the blade assembly with the Spout Lid and found it comfortable to drink from. Awesome! My next drink was with the 32 oz Cup. This time I used Frozen Strawberries, Frozen Mangos, Fresh Pineapple Chunks and Juice using the Frozen Drink Setting and again leaving the Auto IQ on. WOW WOW WOW, again a perfect blend automatically. I love The Auto IQ Boost Settings and The 24 & 32 oz cups. No more making too large of a drink for me!!! Next I used the Nutri Bowl to make the Cauliflower Rice from the recipe book. Before adding the ingredients I locked the bowl into place on the motor base. It makes a small clicking sound when the bowl is locked in. Part of the cauliflower, garlic and cilantro are put into the 3 cup bowl that has a multiple blade spindle that sets into the middle of the bowl. Once all the ingredients are in the bowl the Lid locks onto the bowl and I selected the Auto IQ Boost NO button and then the Fusion Chop button. The unit did a few pulses and stopped on its own. I then added the remaining ingredients according to the recipe and used the Fusion Chop button again. In seconds all the ingredients were finely chopped and ready to be added to the rest of the ingredients to be cooked on the stove. In under 15 minutes I prepared, cooked and plated my great tasting food! The bowl doesn't have a Handle so I found it somewhat awkward to hold when removing from the motor base. Then it got a little messy getting the blade out of the bowl. Since the ingredients are so finely chopped it should be removed over a plate or paper towel. After cleaning the bowl and its blade I used the bowl to chop dates for making Date Bars. I find Dates are sticky and hard to chop with a traditional knife. When using the bowl I found that chopping just 1 cup of dates at time worked best for getting an even cut quickly. I was thrilled to have all my dates chopped so quickly. I will never hand chop dates again! I also chopped chicken, apples and onions for other recipes in the cookbook, I love the results of the chopped food! I wish the bowl had more of an indentation or a small handle for a better grip. It also has a small opening in the lid with a sliding cover, not sure what that is intended for, I have shaky hands so I can't use it for adding liquid. I really enjoyed trying recipes form the book. The Nutri Bowl also has a Dough Blade for mixing Bread and Cookies, I'll be trying them next. The cups, bowl and blades are dishwasher safe so clean up was easy. If I could give it 4.5 starts then I would.

    Versatile and Powerful New Ninja

First, let me say it was my wife that was most excited about this Ninja product, more than me. She has been introducing a healthy and nutritious whole food diet to our family for a couple of years now, and the Ninja Nutri Bowl made it more convenient and practical to sustain our new found way of life. I would definitely begin by reading the instruction manual and recipe book as you open the box, especially if you are new with any blender-extractor machine. The recipe book made it easy to identify the purpose of each button on the base and the pictures added value in reaching the end result by making it fun to explore many new delicious recipe options we could not have imagined by ourselves. If you have owned a previous model you will be impress to know that the cups are interchangeable, AKA, you save money! By the way the wattage on this new product is 1200 v.s previous models of 1000, making it a powerful blender, extractor, juicer, food processor roll into one. We were able to test out the three different blades that come with the machine. The dough blade was something that kids and I where looking forward too. Who doesn't like homemade pizza made with fresh dough? I was impressed on how each auto IQ function performed. The trick to the whole Ninja experience is that you first try some of the recipes by following it to the tee, so that you can get accustom to it. Later incorporate your own recipe ideas into the mix, no pun intended. Overall the Nutri Bowl is a great item to our culinary inventory as it has many practical usages in our daily healthy lifestyle. It definitely did not disappointment my expectations.

I'll keep this brief and simple; I'm not a blender or smoothie expert but I was very impressed with this Ninja blender. It looks good, works well, has a simple interface and straightforward instructions. It comes with with a recipe book - nice to have when you consider how many things you can do with this unit. It is a little louder than the one it has replaced, but is way more efficient and versatile - and it looks good.

I have been wanting to try new ways to take in fruits and veggies. The ninja is the best way to get your Daily Dose of fruits and veggies especially if you don't like to eat every fruit and veggie available. I was able to get some smoothie recipes of stuff I would never eat alone but using the blender it mixes it up so well I didn't even taste it. It's easy to use, quick. Easily cleaned. Nice and compact. Great buy.

I was in the market to replace my old Black and Decker blender. It was at last 6 years old and having difficulty making a decent smoothie. When I saw the Ninja blender with Auto-iq I knew it would be a great replacement. My primary use is for smoothies and it does a great job of breaking down the ice into a perfect consistency. I especially like the Auto-iq where you select what type of blend you want and then press Auto-iq and the blender will pulse and pause automatically so that the contents can settle before automatically restarting. The count down digital display will tell you at a glance how much time is left for your blend. The Ninja comes with the standard pitcher like a normal blender but it also has 3 smoothie cups (1 medium sized and 2 large) and 3 screw on caps with flip open drinking spouts. I especially like the smoothie glasses so I'm not having to clean the big pitcher every time. And they are perfect size for on the go. The only small knock I can give it is that it is tall and doesn't fit under my cupboard with the pitcher attached. It just means I'll have to find another permenant spot for it or move it out from under the cupboard whenever I want to use it. This is only a very slight inconvenience. I can't wait to explore the other features of the Ninja but for what I use blenders for it's perfect.

Before using this blender, I used a far simpler Ninja blender. I'm not sure of the model, but it seems to be analogous to the Ninja Master Prep style. That being said, this new Nutri Bowl Duo replaces my old blender without any hesitation. A few things about this blender that I really appreciate: - I don't need to hold a lid down on the blender to keep ingredients from spouting out the top. Because of the locking mechanism and the fact that the Ninja sticks to your kitchen counter, you can press a button and be hands-free to do other things while it blends your ingredients. - The blades are able to cut through tougher ingredients without struggling. - Smoothies actually come out incredibly smooth. I like being able to use a timed mode, pulse mode, or the other presets. When I want to make a quick smoothie, being able to blend the ingredients then put a lid on top of the container is incredibly convenient. This means fewer dishes to wash, and increased ease-of-use. While I usually make smoothies and protein shakes, I'm especially excited to use this more for chopping ingredients, making salads, and even making vegetable-based soups!
