Many appreciate its Auto IQ settings and the convenience of dishwasher-safe parts. However, some users find the blender quite loud during operation. Awesome blender with SUPER sharp blades that will pretty much blend anything! I love that it has two interchangeable parts that simply screw on to one base. That makes it extremely easy to do one part of my recipe, set it to the side and blend an entirely different item. Also, the included screw-top cups that you can quickly blend up shakes with are SO convenient. Just put in your fresh fruit, ice, protein, etc and blend it and GO! I made some fresh salsa the other day with this blender and jarred it up for future use. Some of the best salsa I've ever tasted! The AUTO-IQ technology in this blender is amazing as well. Just push a certain button and it'll blend up (with pre-programmed times, pulse force, pause frequency) everything for you without you needed to hit various buttons throughout the blend cycle. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting a high-quality, easy-to-use, super fast blender!!

I'm impressed with the overall quality of this blender. Everything feels solid and well-built. The motor is strong enough to handle everything I've thrown at it: ice, frozen fruit, even coffee beans (I added them to a breakfast smoothie). I also like the tiered blade used in the blender; having blades at multiple levels is very helpful in ensuring everything is evenly processed. It has super useful, pre-programmed settings that allow you to start the blender, then move on to something else while the blender manages itself. The only shortcoming it has is common with most blenders, the noise. The motor is loud, but I suppose that is to be expected considering the power it has. Overall, I am very happy with it and would recommend it without hesitation.

Best Blender We Have Ever Had!

Very impressive blender combo. Assembly, disassembly, and clean up are all very easy to do. Cleanup is a breeze as it fits right in the dishwasher. Just make sure to put the lids and blade assemblies in the top rack. Pouring from the container is pretty easy for both thin and thick mixtures. My wife and kids really like the Ninja cups. The safety feature of the pitcher and cups not being properly seated is nice. The blender won’t turn on unless they are properly seated. The “Auto-IQ” feature is really neat and works very well. The Nutri Ninja Duo comes with some wonderful recipe ideas and my family is in the process of trying them all out! Our only complaint is that it is pretty loud. Hands down the best blender we have ever owned!

The Nutri Ninja blender is an excellent blender / food processor with a lot of functionality. The pros: It has a lot of different settings for a variety of different end results. It comes with a very useful recipe book with many different good ideas. It comes with many different blending containers to do a large assortment of different blending projects. The base has some very strong suction cups to hold it onto your counter. The cons: It is very very loud. The nutri-bowl container is small. The “cord storage” area in the base is difficult to use and pretty much useless. The measurements are on the side of the nutri-bowl instead of the front. The little “add hole” at the top of the nutri-bowl is so tiny as to be pointless (you could add liquids via this, but little else). All in all, I was very impressed with the Nutri-Ninja. I used the Nutri-Bowl to crush graham crackers for a cheesecake (not the healthiest use, I know). It managed to pulverize them into a fine powder within 20 seconds on a straight run (no Auto-Boost IQ). The bowl size is small enough that you’re not going to be using this to prep meals for a family of four. For someone who live on their own though, the size is perfectly adequate for small batch cooking. I used the longer drink containers to make a cranberry-apple smoothie and to make a apple-clementine “extraction.” The Auto-Boost “Extract” setting did an excellent job of finely mincing everything into a thick, but easily drinkable, concoction. I will note though that you really ought to add ice cubes as, even using refrigerated fruit, the resulting drink seems to have warmed up some during the blending process. I’m looking forward to trying some of the recipes in the book. Not all of them are winners (chopping a salad in a food processor - why?), but enough of them look appealing that I anticipate many weekends experimenting with them. I would recommend this product.

I’ve been using my Ninja Blender for just about 2 weeks now and have fallen in love! I never used to be much of a smoothie drinker but wanted to start since I know how beneficial they can be to your health. I now use my blender on a daily basis, using it every morning to make a healthy protein smoothie that I take to work with me using the included cups. I will also sometimes make a drink in the evening if I don’t have time to cook dinner and don’t want to get fast food. There are just so many different drinks you can make that you will never get bored. Included with this kit is a recipe book that I have found to be invaluable. Not to mention the bowl that comes with this package which is great for making salsa, pesto, various sauces, and many other things. Everything blends so well, regardless of what you are making whether it be crushed ice for your drink or basil leaves for pasta, the Auto-IQ feature allows you to choose the appropriate setting and the Ninja does all the work. I have no fears about this breaking down on me as everything included appears to be constructed from quality materials and feels sturdy and built to last. I highly recommend this kit to anyone who is looking to make some dietary changes as it really makes it easy to eat healthy. I would also recommend this to pretty much anyone who cooks their own meals or wants to start cooking as using the bowl can be very helpful when preparing many different types of dishes. And finally, if you do not cook and you do not want an easy way to get more nutrients into your body, don’t forget about all the great mixed drinks you can make while entertaining guests, making frozen cocktails and other mixed drinks are a breeze!

Impressions: This probably won’t be the most expensive appliance on your counter, but the look and feel are quite nice. The reflective stainless base looks and feels like a quality built item. Much more than an on/off switch but not too complicated, the buttons are clearly labeled with an assortment of functions the blender offers. One of my favorite design features of the Ninja series is the suction cups on the bottom of the base. This machine is powerful and it’s good to know that it won’t walk away on your counter during operation. I like the included smaller travel cups(24oz) with matching lids. If you are active person you can make yourself a fresh protein drink to take to the gym. Features: The blender comes with four containers in total with three different size. one 4-cup bowl, one 32 oz. cup, and two 24 oz. cups. The bowl is an interesting feature and I had not thought about all the recipes that might be possible until I saw this. Making a lower sugar yogurt blend, homemade cookie dough or salmon burgers are all now easily possible. Cleanup in the dishwasher works quite well. Auto-IQ Technology is a great feature. Pausing and pulsing patterns are performed automatically, it’s sort of a set it and forget it type feature. The ease of use is quite good. You pretty much don’t have to read the manual to get up and running quickly. Effectiveness:  The blender can crush and mix almost any food you put into it, even frozen food. The blades were able to handle a ton of ice that I experimented with in my first drink. Of course, getting a recipe right is a bit of an art. My too heavily initial ice and frozen fruit drink turn into an Italian ice dessert more than a smoothie. The kid loved it anyways. I experimented with frozen fruits and snuck some veggies in as well. Without any sugar the kids didn’t know any different. The texture and consistency can be changed with the different Auto IQ settings. Really a nice feature you probably won’t find in other blenders at this price range. Final thought: A versatile blender that can blend, chop, mix, or even knead dough, the Ninja blender is tops in my books and the price can’t be beat.

This things blends well. I've made a few smoothies with it. I like the presets that allow you to just put in the ingredients and hit go rather than having to press the buttons over and over. It seemed to do a real good job of chopping up frozen fruit. Appears to have a lot of good power and it came with several cups for blending and travel. It had some attachments for doing dough and such as well. Seems to be of good construction and I expect it will hold up to heavy use. Looking forward to many smoothies in my future.

The Nutri Bowl is a fantastic product. This product blends very quickly and quite well. I have only had it for a few short weeks and couldn't tell you how many smoothies I've had. Follow the instructions so that nothing spills during the blending process... that's something I had to learn before reading them. The base is heavy and has suction cups on the bottom to keep it from moving while blending. The buttons work perfectly and it is extremely easy to clean. I highly recommend this to friends and family.

The Nutri Ninja Nutri Bowl chopper/blender is simply unrivaled in quality and ease of use. It chops whatever you can throw at it with ease. But for me one of the best things about the Nutri Ninja system is how easy it is to clean up. After making a smoothie just take off the blender blade, pop a cap on the cups and take it with you. Then just rinse off the blade and set it aside for the next smoothie. I have been making batches of salsa and iced coffee smoothies with the Nutri Ninja and I absolutely love it.

I have had my trusted and true Ninja for many years and there wasn't anything that it could not power through After maybe 1,000 smoothies, the pitcher started to crack, but I used it anyway Now along comes the new Ninja. It does everything that the old one did well, and has new settings for different types of blends Better yet, the small drink containers now offered are perfect for a 1-person smoothie or bulletproof coffee Thank you Ninja for making a great product only better!

Upon un-boxing it was clear this wasn't an ordinary "blender." The unit came with 2-24oz and 1-32oz smoothie cups (the cups from our other Ninja also fit), the bowl, a metal blade and a plastic blade (for the bowl), the base, lids, and a "cookbook" with Ninja ideas. The first thing we did with it was make frozen adult beverages, which is a piece of cake because the very first pre-set button encourages "instant smoothies." The Ninja pulverized ice! We filled a smoothie glass with ice and liquid, screwed on the blender cap, hit the SMOOTHIE button with IQ on and 60 seconds later the beverage was ready and was "slurpee" smooth. No icy chunks at all. Truly impressive. My wife also makes "nutritional smoothies" as well with fruits, juice, ice, vegetables, etc. and they blow away a traditional blender's ability to get it done fast. Unlike our inferior bullet-like purchases, the Ninja does not struggle at all. We also tried to make ice-cream "blizzards" but the smoothie cup is the wrong tool. You are better served with a traditional blender pitcher. We did not try in the bowl because we were not sure if the plastic mixing blade or the pre-set settings on the unit were really designed for that application. As for the bowl, we bought a pre-packaged cookie dough mix (14 oz, I think). We were able to mix the entire package and ingredients in the bowl with the plastic mixer blade but to be honest, a regular bowl and a wooden spoon is just as easy. I see the bowl more for "food processor"-type activities like salsas or dips. Because of the insane power of this blender, it comes with suction cups on the bottom--and they are needed! If you don't have a surface to suction the Ninja to you might have problems. I would give 5-stars for performance alone, however, this unit doesn't store all that well. With the multiple blades and accessories, you need to find a dedicated home in your cabinet or pantry to store your Nutri Ninja Nutri Bowl Duo and the loose accessories. We not only needed to shuffle things around in our cupboards, we had to change the height of some shelves...and we've already found ourselves searching for lids at least once. Plus, because of its insane power, this blender makes an insane amount of noise--louder than most blenders. No sneaking off to make a daiquiri after the kids go to bed. Nonetheless, we are very satisfied with the product and would recommend it to others.

The Ninja resides at the office since my wife's coworkers are much more inclined to eat smoothies than me. They all love it for the quality and easy clean up. Clean up is a big deal with any blender, and the Ninja is a glorified blender. If it's hard to clean, people will not use it. being able to prepare smoothies in the same container you drink them from is nice and simple. We have only prepared smoothies--yogurt, fruit, ice, veggies, peanutbutter, flax seed, nuts, etc. and it works great. We have not tried it to make meals or dough.

I was first impressed with the quality of this group of products! The base feels heavy duty and so do all the cups and vessels. The Auto IQ function was also impressive as well, my family does not have the most experience with products like this but that function made making frozen smoothies effortless. I also loved the recipe book that it came with, the amount of meals and snacks that can be made with the product is unreal and I cannot wait to make ones that I found right in the book, never would have thought of them on my own!

I'm impressed with what this blender has to offer. It looks great and has great functionality. I like how I'm able to use the smaller attachments to blend something, then place the pouring spout for easy pouring or drinking. The feet at the bottom even has suction cups, so it won't shake like my previous blender.

When I openned the box, my first impression was that this is a lot bigger than previous "single cup smoothie makers" I've used before, it looked solid. Besides the Bowl, it included 3 fairly large cups with caps for each of them. On making my first smoothie, i placed ice and water on the bottom of cup, a good amount of frozen fruit, and some yogurt. When i placed it upside down on the NutriNinja NutriBowl Duo's base, my first thought was i'm going to have to run this multiple times, with the ice now on top. I pressed the smoothie button, and was amazed to see the thing quickly set up a countdown timer of around a minute. It varied the cycle length, and by the time it was done the ice was no more and i had a delicious smoothie. My only comment about the process is that the motor was moderately loud as it chopped, but probably not much different than similar products. I anticipate that the NutriBowl feature will allow me to replace my full size blender.

I wish I used a blender and food processor more than I do. I will definitely need to start now that I have this guy. We had a Ninja blender in the past and used it occasionally with decent results. I really like the multiple functions this one can do, though. With the food processor bowl and the cups for blending up smoothies, all with a single base, it reduces some of the clutter of needing multiple full machines hanging around the kitchen and it doesn't hurt that it does such a great job. The "Auto-iQ" boost is a nice addition that helps take some of the guess work out of getting things to blend just right. Overall, another fine machine by the folks at Ninja. If you need something that chops a lot of stuff into tiny tiny pieces, this is your machine!

    Pulverizing

I keep coming back to the word Pulverize with these Ninja products. They simply pulverize everything that we put in them. One thing that I particularly like is that you can fill it up all the way. In previous blenders and food processors that we've had, if it's all the way full it can sometimes stutter or not get going very well. Sometimes it won't start at all. So we end up having to blend 2-3 times to get all that we need. It's a small thing, but this Ninja removes a big irritation. Highly recommended.

First and foremost this thing has some power, the 1600 watt motor makes short work of everything I've thrown at it. I'll mostly will be using it to make smoothies but love the fact that if I need a blender I have that function at my disposal also. I have a competing brand smoothie maker also that I'll now be giving away after getting the Ninja! Very well built and feels like it will hold up well over time. The Ninja should be at the top of your list when looking for this type of machine.

First off this is a powerhouse of blending, and mixing. I attempted to make a smoothy but the amount of ingredients used was not enough to mix it fully. I had to add more to get the unit to reach its potential. That said it was a quick and utter delight to use. The speeds that are available are plenty more then I think I can use. Also the IQ system is almost a "set it and forget it" type of thing. It will mix, pulse, pause and resume during its rotation to make sure all the goodies are mixed correctly. I look forward to using this for cooking more often as it will help with the final prep work I need to get the job done.
