This is really much more than a smoothie maker. The 32oz 'cup' lets you use in place of a blender in addition to making smooties. The bowl lets you chop and mix dry ingredients. We made cookie dough, brownie dough, bean soup, and a chicken salad in the bowl. It does a nice uniform job of chopping, so you leave things chunky instead of having to pulverize everything. It's powerful enough to get through just about anything and the Auto-IQ really works, you don't have to keep pulsing manually. It's nice having lids for the cups so that you can mix up a smoothie or other blended drink ahead of time. Somehow open containers in our refrigerator seem to alway end up getting spilled. Probably the only downside to this unit is that it is rather loud, but that's a minor inconvenience

This thing is great. We upgraded from the older model and this one is so much better especially with the bowl in addition to the carafes so now we can make salsa and all sorts of things. Great addition to the kitchen.

This is probably one of the best purchases I have ever made. I use it for all types of different things. It is a tad loud but totally worth listening to for the great consistency in my fruit smoothies.

I have several Ninja products and have never had a problem with any of them. However, this product take my appreciation to another level. I thinking that this will be my new wedding gift this season

I love my new Nijna! It makes the best smoothies in the world. It is quick and easy. Cleaning up after is a breeze. I would highly recommend it.

Texture of my smoothies, is what l expected. I'm satisfied with my Ninja IQ Duo blender. ~ Just the package was lack of assembling instructions. And also I found no instruction to warranty registration or contact info at all.

I use this bowl to make homemade nut butters. Love how it breaks down the nuts and in a quick fashion as well.

I need to drink smoothies and this is a great smoothie maker. Oatmeal peanutbutter smoothies are doable with this machine.
