Great card runs hot beaware.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card is beyond amazing. I went from a GTX 970 FTW+ to a GTX 1080 FTW2 and it's a world of difference. This card is expensive, but it will do everything a 2k gamer like myself could want. I went from aground 38 fps during intense moments in GTA V (which is not a light game) to 90+ AND maxed out the settings finally.

Expensive, but amazing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is pretty close to the fastest GPU on the market at the moment. Founder's edition cards often overclock well, but there's no guarantee. The Founder's Edition carries a $100 price premium - you will probably want to get a non-FE card to save some money.

Great Graphics Card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Kids computer project. We held out for this graphics card for 6 months until one became available. My son has since finished building his box and it runs fast with great graphics. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a great, reasonably priced card to jump on this when they become available.

GREAT card!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this while it was on sale and I'm glad I did! Getting in my case, a Cooler Master microATX case, was a bit tricky due to its small space but it was doable. After I finally got it running, I loaded up XPlane 11, which is VERY hungry for a fast CPU AND GPU!! It ran it with NO problems whatsoever. I loaded up HWMonitor (made by the folks that make CPU-Z) and GPU usage wasn't even taxed, and that was after I turned the settings up to max or near max. If any of you are into flight sims, GET THIS CARD! And if it goes on sale again, GET THIS CARD! Nvidia has the 20 series cards out now but they're very expensive. Card itself is rather quiet. Fan speeds definitely come up during sim use but it's not overbearing. I did have a bit of trouble with the video ( it was on me, NOT the card) due to a faulty DVI connector. Luckily my monitor also has a displayport port so I switched over from the old DVI cable to the displayport cable and my video problems went away (blinking video / picture).

Everything it was said to be.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All I can say is that it is taking the data from two different cutting edge alpha stage games and putting out outstanding graphics! I was using a pair of 970's and only getting 30 FPS on low settings. Now with this pair of 1080's I have yet to drop lower than 60 FPS while on ultra high setting across the board.

Perfect for 1440p @ 144Hz gaming but runs HOT!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this card w/ my G-sync 1440Hz Dell monitor. It plays every game at 2560x1440 on high settings with very high framerates (>100 fps). The only con of this card is that it runs quite hot in my mini-ITX rig. It would consistently hit the thermal limit of the card (83C) and throttle itself back, resulting in a slight dip in FPS. I installed an aftermarket liquid cooling unit on this card and now I'm sitting at a chilly 50C under heavy gaming load. I love this card!

WOW!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as an upgrade to my GTX970 so I could play more demanding games on my HTC Vive. The difference in performance is amazing. Outside VR I've used this on a variety of demanding games. I have all of them set to ultra and 4K on my TV and I'm getting at least 60 FPS in all of them. Highly recommended~

Gamers Paradise
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this for our son for his birthday. Talk about a huge difference! This card is the ultimate card for a hardcore gamer. Push the limit, up your levels to the highest. He's able to play all his games on Ultra Rez and the ping levels are still low. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Shreads every game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Can play destiny 2 with everything maxed and still maintain 60-70 FPS during intense combat play. It gets 3 stars due to price (paid $550). Only purchased because I had $200 in gift cards.

Loud/Elegant/Powerful/Efficient
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the money I would only be able to recommend this graphics card to people who can't help but crank the settings up to 11 in every game they play. If your the person who usually just lets the graphics card choose the settings and your not gaming at a Native Resolution of 1440p or higher... couldn't recommend it. Compared to the aftermarket gtx 1080's this one is very loud. The main plus of a reference/single fan cooling solution from this card is the minimal to nonexistent heat dissipation in the case, meaning your CPU other components stay cool easier.

Excellent card for video editing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good graphic cards are very hard to find and when found they’re very expensive. I picked this one up at Best Buy for retail price and was able to pick up same day. I needed the best card to price ratio for my video editing rig and without a doubt this 1080 fits the bill.

excellent card for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.before buying this card, I had two GTX 780s in SLI, costing me around $600 for each card when I bought them back in 2013. one of those cards recently died, so I decided to pick up the 1080 on a whim. I can honestly say that this card performs way better than both of those cards put together, and for around the price of just one of them. 10/10 would recommend

Love this graphics card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card is amazing. I play Black Desert which is a graphics eating game with big demands and this card handles it perfectly. I can see details down to very fine pixels. I had a 4 GB card and this was like going from 20/50 vision with some thick lenses to 20/20. Just fantastic.

Great graphics card for reasonable price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded to this from 760 gtx, instant improvement in games such as fallout 4 and Skyrim SE. Went from 45-60fps with all settings on High, to 60fps on Ultra + high res graphics mods. Also dropped the ambient volume by a noticeable amount as the 1080 runs much quieter and cooler

Excellent card for supreme gaming graphics
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card puts out some great numbers and pairs nicely with my 1440 monitor. I get a good 40 FPS more with some games while also increasing the graphics quality. I believe this, and not 4K, is the best combination right now. For 1080 it's probably overkill but you will not be disappointed!

Gaming done right!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was in the process of updating my pcs components to a no compromise build! This card is the newest and most powerful consumer priced card on the market! Now I can enjoy 4k gaming with no lag or screen flickering! The price is steep but if you need the power. Then i highly recommend it!

Great Performance If Cost Is Not a Concern
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card will play your games on Max/Ultra settings (as of late 2016). The price tag is steep. But in my opinion, the purchase is a future-proofing measure. An upgrade will not be needed for some time. Performs well, isn't loud and it looks nice if your case has a window.
