Upgraded from a 980ti to run at 3440x1440. Very satisfied with the performance increase, playing AC Odyssey now on it and visuals/performance are great with most settings at very high/ultra. Founders edition this time is good, didn't see a need to get a custom card as before. I realize price is on the higher side but was OK with paying a bit extra for newer technology over trying to get a 1080 ti.

Excellent card. No complaints about performance. Does not seem to run hot at all and no coil whine. Price is competitive with Newegg and Amazon (actually cheaper than Amazon and Newegg).

It handles everything I can throw at it. It pushes the 4K without breaking a sweat. Battlefield looks great in 4K. It is the most powerful card in the world. Who wouldn’t want it. Pricey though. Was able to get it for $720 because I am a Best Buy rewards member and it was my birthday.....10% off. That was sweet. If you have GTX1080TI, I’d keep it and pass on the upgrade.....just saying.

    Running games at highest

Before getting the 2080 I was running a 1070 and playing games like Hunt: Showdown. With the older 1070 it would require running everything on lower setting. After installing the 2080 Founders edition (Just replaced card, no other changes needed) I was able to run everything on max settings. It pairs well with another product I purchased (gaming monitor) along with Nvidia's G Synch which makes it even awesomer (yes, I know awesomer isn't a real word). I think the cost for this card and the enjoyment I've gotten conquering other players makes it totally worth it. Due to better system performance and seeing details that a lot of other miss is a must in any FPS. This, coupled with the gaming monitor designed for gaming and the G Sync technology has made me a better, faster, and even more appreciative player. Yes, even if they triumph over me, I still am a happier player. Totally recommend this card accompanied with the G Sync capable monitor (The monitor is the Acer - Predator XB272 27" LED FHD GSync Monitor - Black ).

I upgraded from the GTX 1080 and I must say....WORTH IT!!! I read all kinds of negative reviews on this card and I completely disagree, this is the best card I have ever owned. TIP: If upgrading from a 1080 or a 1080ti sell your old card on CL or something for $400+...that's what I did and only had to spend roughly $400 for my 2080...ignore the negative reviews from haters...DLSS will be a thing so will RT.

I have been using this card for several weeks now primarily with Prepar3d (P3D v4). It runs very quiet, very good frame rates under most conditions. I have a lot of payware scenery ie. ORBX, FlyTampa Las Vegas, and the New version of New Orleans which are both frame rate hogs and it does okay on those two. If I had the money I would have gone with the TI version with the extra VRAM.

This design is miles ahead of the previous founders edition cards from Nvidia. It cools much better, and looks beautiful in any case. I had a slight issue with some noticable coil whine on mine though, but this issue was fixed with the replacement card I got. Apparently some of the first cards to come out had these issues, but later releases seem good to go. The only thing I don't like is the fact that the logo must stay lit up green, even though it's actually an RGB LED array under it, tested and proven by online reviewers.

This gem definitely allows ultra graphics on most games in 4k resolution at 40-60fps depending on the game. Unfortunately there are a few games I've found that will bring it to below 30fps when settings are maxed out which already has me considering putting an OC on this thing which is supposed to be today's best/ top GPU - the ti ed. Overall I'm pretty happy with how beautiful this card can make most games look in a very playable framerate straight out of the box without having to put an oc in it.

Awesome card that’ll run pretty much everything at high/ultra settings, but is rather large and expensive.

Bought so I could dual pc stream and output 1440p 144fps to my monitor and 1080p 60fps to my elgato on my second computer and it works flawlessly. Had to upgrade because my Radeon card did not allow this.

I upgraded my card from a 1080TI to this 2080 beast as it was a great deal in a Best Buy deal of the day. The ray tracing, if you find a game that uses it, is very cool. Is it as cool as the price? Today, not so much but as more games adapt to it it will be really a beneficial card to have. It's quiet and works with my current computer. I'd recommend it if you want the top of the line graphics at the time of this writing (June 2019)

The RTX 2080 remains a solid product and continues to function reliably in the absence of malfunctions for two years. However, it is slightly expensive considering that the 3060TI surpasses the perform of the 2080. I would recommend saving money on the 3000 series cards.

This card is great. Some people say it's expensive, but what do you expect for the latest and greatest in GPU tech? It burns through any game at max settings when I play on my 2k monitor. PUBG gets 100-130FPS on all max. Also quiet and cool.

I use this card for password cracking using hashcat. It is extremely fast (55 billion NTLM hashes per second) and stays in the 80º C range in my case. I am happy with this card's performance and cooling under extreme use.

I upgraded from a GTX 1080 to this and it’s faster of course but what caught my attention was the lack of heat and fan noise. This thing is absolutely quiet! Playing Destiny 2 forsaken on an Alienware 34” monitor with settings maxed out, it easily handled those settings meanwhile it ran quieter and cooler then my GTX 1080. The GTX 1080 sounded like a jet engine taking off.

I was an early adopter. I am using a dual 4k monitor setup for gaming. Upon reading the reviews I returned and am waiting for the 2080 Ti to be in stock. If you're gaming at less than 4k this card in all the reviews I read performs overall slightly better than the 1080 Ti but is also slightly more expensive.

This graphics card will blow you away! I can run every game I own on 2160 at over 60 FPS. $800 is a lot of money, yes. But if you want your games to look the best they can, I cannot recommend this enough!

Ray Trace is still in its infancy so usage is minimal. Battlefield V looks awesome and I can run at 90 FPS and the reflections are cool, but whose looking at that when playing a game anyway. As a GPU it's almost as good as it gets. A bit pricey, but won't disappoint.
