I managed to snag this card for $550 and so returned my Rtx 2080 Gaming X Trio and got some money back. The cooling is not nearly as silent as the gaming x trio but the increased cude cores and faster samsung GDDR6 memory boosts it significantly

Still a great card, handles gaming at 1440p well. With this current GPU market I’m just happy I was able to purchase when I did. I use this with games like Apex, Warzone, etc. with no issues and get great frame rate while streaming and recording.

I’ve never built a PC before but I got this graphics card and it works perfectly. The only thing I could say is that when you’re running games that are really high res. It can get a little loud, but it’s not bad at all.

One of the most powerful graphics cards I’ve owned. I highly recommend this. It’s a major improvement over the 2060 and 2070 models. This runs my games on maximum settings with no issues whatsoever.

I purchased this graphics card and I gotta say it was amazing. About two weeks later I decided I’ll go ahead and benchmark it and realized that it would fail every time. After little bit of a research on google I decided to return it and exchanged it with 2070 super and saved my self a little bit. Five star card, I was just unlucky and got a faulty unit. It’s funny because someone else is going to purchase my unit that I returned since Best Buy rep literally just put it back to graphics card shelf -_-

Great video card - Best Buy was the only seller that had it available to order at the time. Took three weeks to get it - finally put my system together and seems to work great. Have not put it the best test, though I did have my system tested online at user benchmark.com and without any tweaking it was rated an Aircraft Carrier and UFO. For the same price one can purchase, if you can find one, the next generation video card RTX 3080 - which should improve upon this RTX 2080 Super

I've been using an XFX 5700XT for the past few weeks and decided to give the 2080 Super a try on my 1440p 144hz gaming monitor. The first thing I noticed when getting into a game (Ghost Recon: Breakpoint) was the SUPER LOUD high pitch whine the card was making. It wasn't a fan noise but more of an inductor noise. You can be in-game and go into the pause menu, and the noise will go away. At first, I thought it was my power supply, so I got down and put my ear up to it and the 2080 to try to pinpoint where the insanely annoying sound was coming from. It sure sounded like it was coming from the 2080 instead of my EVGA 1000W PSU so just to be sure, I removed the 2080 and reinstalled the 5700XT. The sound went away. Come to find out and some Google research, this is a pretty common problem on the 2080 Supers and 2080 ti's. As for performance, I gained about 10 FPS in Breakpoint, compared to the 5700XT, at the same very high (not highest) setting for both cards. I'm using a Ryzen 3600 with 32GB of 3200Mhz DDR4 Ram, the CPU utilization never goes above 50% and the GPU utilization stays pegged out so I'm pretty sure I'm not running into a CPU bottleneck. But thinking about it, it costs roughly $300 for 10-20(max) more frames. I think that's a very crappy deal when looking at performance per dollar. And yeah, that was the only game I personally tested, but after hearing the horrible sound the card makes, I already know I do not want it. I do plan to return this specific card soon but will exchange it for another brand 2080 Super. If you’re thinking about this card, just beware of the noise issue and the competition which is a lot cheaper for just a small performance loss. The 2080 Super is probably an overall nice card, I just wouldn't recommend this Nvidia branded card.

This was the best you could buy without mortgaging your house for a 2080TI in 2019. It still is an amazing card, but as of September 2020, it doesn't hold a candle to the power and affordability of the 3080. Also the Founder's Edition is one of the best looking cards Nvidia has ever made.
