Nvidia Shield is ok at best. Basically just transforms a TV into a smart TV with a few other things. The UI and layout is clean and easy to use, but for some reason, I was expecting a $200 'media player' to be more like a VSeeTV or Superbox... and it doesn't.

the difference. Showed rep a picture of what I wanted but got the wrong item. Was not happy having to make 2 trips

Everything about this is fanatistic except my remote volume doesn't have full control throughout the various apps. It's an easy fix by just increasing volume on TV higher to accomodate the lower shield volume settings.

I picked one of these up for my projector set up. Allows me to do just about anything on the big screen. Great load times with bad internet. This thing forsure gets 5 stars. Also it's super small so it sits right on top the sound bar. Remote is awesome too.

Easy to install and operate. Like the full-size USB ports making it easy to connect external drives.
May be conneced to a TV tuner to it which allows us to watch and record local TV channels.
It does it require a special USB cable to connect it to a computer.

The best streaming/gaming device around. I have 5 of these devices total (2015, 2017 and now 2019 models) and they are the best. All still work flawlessly and have amazing software support from NVIDIA even on the 6 year old model.

So much better then the Amazon cube or fire stick only issue and it’s a small one the Netflix button is super easy to push. But Nvidia was smart enough to allow the shield to have multiple apps open so you tend not to lose your spot

You want the best then you have to pay. Device response time is the quickest and you can play any video format also audio format with this device. Saying goes you get what you pay for and for this case its true.

Best media streaming device out there! It can run other streaming services out there as well and there is plenty of sources online to get all of those working perfectly.

Great Streaming device that supports lossess audio forms (uncompressed Dolby Atmos/DTSX). Great 4k upscaler and very easy to navigate UI/OS. I pair one with my LG C1 to great effect!

Excellent stable device with multipurpose use. Everything works as should and compatible with all apps I need. With build in USB and Ethernet port, you can do whatever you need to do.
