I have a few hickups but i am satisfied with the product. NVIDIA is great for supporting their devices for a long time so it is not a disposable android tv device. I would even say it is future proof.

Good but wayyy overpriced; overhyped upscaling

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this product because i bought a new TV and heard that TV's upscaling engine for lower quality content was subpar. After reading reviews and reddit threads i decided on this NVIDIA Shield TV Pro. Suffice to say for $200 i overpaid for this product for my use case. To be fair, i did not use it as a plex media server or to play video games either via emulator or via streaming since those are not my use case. I have shows recorded on YouTube TV and since these were lower quality content i was hoping to be impressed by the Shield TV Pro's upscaling but sadly i was not. Perhaps I am just too critical when it comes to picture quality but for the specific use case of streaming live tv and watching movies--i'd pay no more than $100 for this product. I did end up returning this product however i don't disagree with the plethora of positive reviews; for what i paid it just does not fit my use case.

Upscaling not worth it imo

I’ve seen YouTube videos where people are blown away with how great it is but I personally never could tell a difference
