Works good but was quite tricky to set up. Took some time.

4k output is great. Streaming Plex to PC in 4k with Atmos is perfect. AI upscaling on old content is beautiful. But the Netflix button is the biggest button on the thing and the only one that gets hit on accident interrupting literally everything you do on the device. Want to disable the button? That sounds like something that should be totally customizable on a $200 MSRP item. Not this one. You have to pay for a 3rd party program called Button Mapper if you want to do something so basic. So take this one review with a grain of salt but I've hit the darn Netflix button enough for me to come here and give this thing 1 stars just to vent at my remote. Stop interrupting my media with this dumb button you stupid triangle.

It costs $200 and then they ruin it with ads. Get an Apple TV instead. Good otherwise though.

This unit takes some working aound. It needs some apps to be downloaded to make it some what reach it's potential. It's not for novice users.

Excellent quality and works like a charm. Rich functionality and love it.

I had to wait for the latest model to come out. No problem.. But when I received it, the packaging seemed as if it was euther someones return or a floor model? The remote I've changed the batteries several times to get it to work. Just seemed strange ..

A little pricey but you get what you pay for. So 3 stars.

Fairly easy to setup and use. Downfall is the gamepad very complicated to setup and use.

Works pretty well, just wish it was a bit cheaper.

Just wondering why Amazon video doesn't sound nearly as good as Netflix or YouTube?

Its decent and will do whats needed but the technology is dated and needs to be upgraded. Better to wait for the next version.

Unless the price is below 150$, I would not recommend this product.

I rate the Shield itself a 5, put took off 1 for the wonky remote.

Overall it’s pretty good for the discount price. I enjoy playing with it.

Within three hours of setting this up, it froze and I had to do a hard reboot several times. Tried all the updates and worked with it until I finally returned it. May have just been my experience, but I don't plan to give it another shot

I love playing retro games in my envy Shield is much faster than the previous generation recommended

It's a nice media player to play movies and also for streaming. Good product and I liked a lot.
